What is the current bitcoin value now? Are we back at 0.01? Has that fucking over of Mtgox changed the value? When is everything getting back to normal?!

Bitcoins are worth $4.80... would you like to sell me a few thousand?

Seriously, bitcoins are worth whatever a buyer/seller agree to trade them for... how much would you sell me yours for?

I only got one... I traded my 6 for $200 before mtgox was raped and pillaged.

close your eyes and pretend yesterday never happened. bitcoins havent changed. they are worth exactly what they were the day before yesterday.

After the sell of mt gox was still functioning for a while. The price was fluctuating pretty wildly, but it was around $12 to $16. At trade hill, the prices were around $14 before they paused.

Once everything gets back online, there might be a panic sell, cause the price to plummet. But since bitcoins are the easiest way to get from mt gox to tradehill, there might be a panic buy as well.

You'd have to pry them from my cold dead hands... Anything below $100 each I'm still a buyer not a seller :)

This would be a weird scenario: prices on mt gox plummet to $5 while prices on tradehill soar to $40, but no one trusts mt gox enough to go there and buy. Hmmm

That kind of arbitrage would be more than worth trusting mtgox for a short time ;)

Until Tradehill and/or MtGox open up and start trading, I'm having to set my own market price.   I chose $7, so the products on my store are priced according to a $7 BTC/USD exchange rate.   They are probably worth more, but I'm being cautious until I see what the markets have to say

Bitomat.pl is up and trading. Current bitcoin price is ~ 38 Polish zloty. That is approximately 13-14 USD per bitcoin.  As if nothing had happened  :)

Because nothing really bad happened? People will just withdraw their BTC/USD and go to Tradehill or something and everything will be ok  ;)
