Title: Sending Ethereum Token
Post by: Rozita on June 28, 2017, 02:17:40 PM
Hi
I want to send some RouletteTokens (RLT) from livecoin to myetherwallet. But there is no address for RouletteTokens in myetherwallet. Is it right that I should use ETH address? My concern is losing my fund.

Another question:
I heard somewhere I should have some Ethereum in myetherwallet before sending any token to that. Is it right? If yes why? and how much is required?

Thanks

I haven't heard the need to have ETH in the wallet but as for the address, that is what you use to send tokens to it and will be associated to that ETH wallet address once sent.

The ethereum address displayed on your myetherwallet can receive any ethereum token but you will need to add the token as a custom token.

You will need to know the following in order to add the new token, the token contract address, its decimal and symbol.

Your RouletteTokens shall appear in your myetherwallet after you have put this parameter.
