Title: BTCForums.com domain for sale - offers from 0.05BTC Post by: petrosc on July 01, 2017, 07:40:21 AM BTCForums.com - one of the few quality bitcoin domains available for sale
I am accepting offers from 0.05BTC . The name was for sale last week on bitcointalk but the buyer did not honor his offer and the sale fell through. So I am putting it up for the last time, this time for 1/10 of the previous asking price to encourage some action I will sell to the person with the highest offer, the sale ends in a week, however I reserve the right to end the sale earlier, if I am happy with the current offer. It is your last chance to get a good deal on a domain name like that. The domain name is registered at Dynadot. The transfer is free and fast. Sale rules: Buyer sends me payment, I transfer the domain ASAP for free. I will not send the domain first. I have already been burned like this in this forum. If the buyer wants to use escrow, I am happy with that, as long as the buyer agrees to pay any fees associated with that. By placing an offer you agree to these rules, otherwise I will not consider the offer as valid Good luck p.s. Some have commented on the fact that the domain name has an "s" at the end. Lots of popular forums have the "s" at the end. The word forums in a forum domain name is well accepted. Below you will see a list of popular forums with the "s" in the domain name. ubuntuforums.org - global rank 3,797 tenforums.com - global rank 4,282 sevenforums.com - global rank 5,178 leakforums.net - global rank 9,023 india-forums.com - global rank 9,522 englishforums.com - global rank 8,984 physicsforums.com - 6,057 androidforums.com - 9,957 hackforums.net - 11,598 freeforums.net - 10,523 The list goes on and on. As I said, the sale will last around one week Could i suggest something? Please post the offers via PM publicly so that we know you're not BSing and just trying to get peple to offer more. Blocking out the person's username is fine, but show the content and the rank of the user so that we know it's not a bogus offer. Also maybe you should transfer the ownership of the domain to the escrow right now, so that if the last offer you receive is not what you expected you can't just say that the sale has ended. Thanks Title: Re: BTCForums.com domain for sale - offers from 0.05BTC Post by: petrosc on July 04, 2017, 11:49:17 AM Thank you for the suggestion. I am not BSing anyone and I will gladly post proof of the offer. Here is a link to the offer screenshot, with the senderīs info censored : http://imgur.com/a/o6I0e
With the escrow however, I will not transfer ownership as the winner might not be willing to pay escrow fees - see rules in the initial post. I have no problem with escrow, but winner would have to pay any expenses associated with that Title: Re: BTCForums.com domain for sale - offers from 0.05BTC Post by: foruman1 on July 04, 2017, 12:15:16 PM Thank you for the suggestion. The last user was making the point if you host an auction for example and your not happy with the bid offered you can simple close the thread and do it again and gain Hoping for a big payout. If I transfer it to escrow and nobody buys I assume I will have to pay some fees. Anyway I get the point. I am too lazy to bother with escrow at this phase. I will do it only if the buyer asks for escrow and agrees to pay fees. Regarding whether or not I will sell if I donīt like the bid, I stated that I will sell the domain to the highest bidder, which means if there is as much as one bid of 0.05, then the name gets sold Title: Re: BTCForums.com domain for sale - offers from 0.05BTC Post by: petrosc on July 06, 2017, 04:21:30 PM Sold
