Title: [3 days]: [BFL ASIC 60 GH/s Miner order] for low price with escrow
Post by: Vezunchik on May 09, 2013, 05:01:00 AM
I am selling one of my BFL miners orders. I've moved my investment priority to ASICMiner and Avalon when BFL delayed shipment again in March. I was waiting for official confirmation of the beginning of shipment to start this thread. So I can sell real product now:
60 GH/s Bitcoin Miner.

I was in doubts about price of "Single". So I've made guess about bitcoin network hashrate.

Hashrate[time] = K*time + B

7 days moving average points:
24563.197 at 15-February
74692.342 at 30-April
http://i1273.photobucket.com/albums/y412/VezunchikPhotos/NetworkHashrate_zpse9df4750.png
K = delta Y / delta X = (74692.342 - 24563.197) / (4-1.5)*2 = 10025.83 Ghash per 2 weeks growth.
B = 24563.197 - K * 1.5*2 = 24563.197 - 30077.5 = 5514.29 Ghash base.

This order must be ready in 2 months (or even earlier if there will be many refund requests from BFL customers - every refund will move order up in the queen).
So income will be
in 2 months hashrate will be 10025.83 * 6.5*2 + 5514.29 = 124821.487
3600 * 60 / 124821.487 = 1.442059411 BTC per day or ~52.7784 BTC per month

in 3 months: 10025.83 * 7.5*2 + 5514.29 = 144873.145
3600 * 60 / 144873.145 = 1.242466297 BTC per day or ~45.474 BTC per month

in 4 months: 10025.83 * 8.5*2 + 5514.29 = 164924.803
3600 * 60 / 164924.803 = 1.091406488 BTC per day or ~39.9444 BTC per month

After this, I think any extrapolation has no sense. So you will have at least ~138 BTC income in short range (I think more, because constant linear growth of network hashrate is impossible).
And constant, but smaller income in long range perspective.

So bids must start with 78 BTC discount (as your profit in short range) - from 60 BTC with 2 BTC increment.
You may use 40-70% escrow (60-30% of price payed to me directly, and another part - after shipping, by escrow) - depends on winning price and = (Price-60)/((138-60)/(70-40)) + 40 %
I'll pay escrow fees.
Or pay directly with 10% discount - 90% from winning price.

an order from about a month ago is not worth it. who knows when they will ship these units and how profitable they will be in the long run.
it's only reasonable given the situation to pay a bit more. so something along the lines of 30 btc MAX makes actual sense
for all we know avalon batch #8 will come out before this

There is no avalon batch #8, as I know. #3 is still shipping. What about long run - other investment options unpredictable too, but less profitable.

If there will be no buyer I may think about setting 1333 USD + shipping start price in 7 days auction.

Also, what is the order date on this... it really looks like March 2x, 2013 in the image?  (also, sorry for re-posting the picture in the last post...)

Sorry for the reposting - but you definitely need to change your image... I was able to decipher enough information to get your invoice/order to pull up on BFL. .. and I assume you do not need/want your address getting out.

Well, me too - you have even left the phone number intact.

#100024627

I've decided to show account login process and invoice via Skype to winner before payment...

Also, looking at all this mistrust, I want to rise discount to 104 BTC:

Now bids must start from 34 BTC with 2 BTC increment.
Also I will rise escrow up to 55-75% (45-25% of price payed to me directly, and another part - after shipping, by escrow) - depends on winning price = (Price-34)/((138-34)/(75-55)) + 55 %
Or pay directly with 10% discount - 90% from winning price.
Payment in 72 hours after end of this auction.

so vezenchuk is selling his preorder from a month ago and will use the proceeds to buy this one from a year ago?! uh.
Yes, and what? I want to go up in shipping list - is this unfair? I have several orders from BFL - this one - the latest one. I'll lower prices in 4-6 week period, until 2-3 of my preoders will be bought.
It's still better than making order now - 50 GH/s instead of 60, x2 higher price, and ~5-6 months to deliver, I think.

I'm not sure you know this..though I trust you're slowly figuring it out...but an order placed a month ago isn't worth nearly as much as you think it does. That said, what makes your Single so special that you value its starting bid at $4000? And don't say anything about your place in the queue because, frankly, you're pretty much at the end of it.

People want early orders...hell even ones placed near the end of 2012...not necessarily ones from March 21st, 2013.

This thread just confuses me... I cannot believe you are brave enough to just put up your address, IF this is your order. I had doubts at first, but I am really questioning this auction. I also do not understand blurring out anything on that last image you put... you've provided all of the information needed to access the order/invoice through BFL without any blurring. And the cost is way over the top for an order placed in March.

BEWARE - I'm done watching  ???

Well - this one is for the small mining data center, secured. So what I must afraid of? BFL will never change shipping address, so I ask again "and what?"
