Title: Rx480 Post by: skhan855 on July 04, 2017, 06:15:55 PM Hi
I am newbie, but quickly found out that GPU has vanished from markets. I have one source available offered RX 480 by end of this month with 8GB. My question is that is 4GB ok or should i go for 8GB Secondly cards are refurbished, is it worth buying each costing USD 260 Would appreciate early reply. I wont buy it if i was you, Because it's refurbished right ? You need to run it whole time,do you believe it will last long ? Because i experienced it,a refurbished items wont last long ( even thought some of them're not ).i would like to buy another vga card instead of buying that refurbished items. Believe it or not refurbished item is a junk, But of course it's up to you, How about find an used item other than a refurbised item ? (used item optional *) Title: Re: Rx480 Post by: infested999 on July 06, 2017, 08:17:38 AM Refurbished card most probably means that was in mining 24/24. The temperature for mining is about 70-80 degree for this card. The life remaining is not too much for this card, even it is refurbished.
