What are people listening to here?

There are so many sub-genres, can't list them all. If you're into polka infused jazzmetal, select "Other".

Would be interesting to see what you all are into. Post whatever you're currently listening to as well, it'll be fun. I'll start:

Metal

Pop and classical.

Depends on my mood, I sometimes hear rap to classical to RnB and sometimes to rock music. Don't really have a specific genre on which type of music I listen to.

I usually listen to Pop, RnB and EDM because these genres have this capability to make me stay calm. I often listen to songs with these genres when I'm reviewing or studying for some major examination because listening to music makes me more focused on doing something. Also, these genres are not disturbing to the ears unlike metal and such. I'm not against metal genre but I think you can be much more relaxed when you listen to these genres.

I listen rock music

haha i like pop so much, but i also listen to jazz music..

Mood and setting absolutely has something to say. While I enjoy other genres more, sometimes I'll want to get my diva on and I'll listen to some pop-ish albums, Marina and the Diamonds, Lorde etc.

I like progressive rock and deep house music. Nice to listen those after tired job.

Jazz music makes me very comfortable and quiet

well it depends on my mood exactly I just pick some song depending on my mood at the moment.

It's been a while since I've gotten into a metal album. The last one was probably something by DragonForce.

I usually listen to different kinds of music depending on my mood. But all in all, I love listening to songs with EDM, Pop, Country, and Reggae as their genre. I really depend on my mood when I listen to songs because I want them to be accurate with what I am currently feeling.

I do really love pop and sensational music those of Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry. Meanwhile, I'm liking also those collaboration with rapper and indie style of pop like Nicki Minaj, Clean Bandit, DNCE.

Actually, everything that sounds great to me. Doesn't matter what it is pop, hip-hop and stuff like that.
My top 3 are:

3)Red Hot Chilli Peppers

A wide spectrum actually, from metal (black&death mostly) to post-rock, contemporary classical, neo-folk, drone, ambient etc.

Metal is the best, but nowadays I like more the softer metal. And I also like other music, I´m a big fan of nightwish.

RnB does it for me. Songs could act as an anti depressant or a depressant depending on the mood and songs involved.

Psytrance, last good tags for me was Saxohouse for example.

I´m listening mostly to Rock, Hardrock and Metal. Also to Rap and Hiphop.

I listen to classical music to calm the mind and for relaxation

I'm more into pop music.
I find it relaxing. When pop music plays in the radio , i somewhat reminisce in my past and with that thought, a big Smile pops in my face .

I listen to jazz music. It is very relaxing and I think it is balanced . Not to soft and not to loud. Just a balanced music. I love the sound of the saxophone and the bass combined. for me, it is my jump start music. When I listen to jazz my whole day goes amazing and my senses come alive.

I like different youtube and Spotify channels for different mood.. I think it's a perfect option because you don't need to spend time making a playlist! It's amazing! 

All kinds of music. There's always something good out there to be discovered. I'm currently listening to smooth jazz :P

Since I was 13, and that's 40 years ago LOL, I always listen to my favourite electronic music band: Kraftwerk.

Their ability to generate unique sounds is awesome.

i have a varied taste in music but my main favourites are dubstep and british grime/rap
