Tom Lee Feels Bitcoin Can Hit US$55,000 per BTC in the Near Future

Now is a good time as any to make a bold Bitcoin price prediction. Tom Lee, one of Wall Street’s top strategists, did exactly that. In his opinion, Bitcoin will outshine gold in the next five years. Moreover, Lee sees the Bitcoin value surpass the US$20,000 mark with relative ease. It is even possible one BTC will be worth US$55,000 by 2022. Very interesting statements, to say the least.

Most traders still scalp stocks for minuscule profits whenever they can. However, opportunities are harder to come by and returns are a lot lower compared to a few years ago.
Are they out of their minds?  Stocks can only be judged on a long-term basis, and they're doing pretty well recently anyway.

If traders jumped on every "cool new thing", nothing would be a safe investment anymore, because they'd migrate to Bitcoin to the new thing a few hours after Bitcoin has been pumped.  The whole idea of investments would then just be 5-minute pump and dumps with no substance at all.

Bitcoin has a niche.  It hasn't quite reached all the people that it should yet, but prices as high as they're talking about would be completely insane.  If it went that high that fast, I would be terrified because it would be 100% speculation and 0% substance.

I lost count of how many people have claimed Bitcoin to reach what at this point is an insane price level. It obviously shows how bullish the general public is when it comes to Bitcoin, but these predictions get taken extremely serious by noobs, which on its turn contributes to the high level of get rich quick noobs here. Let us first see how things play out when SegWit has been finally activated and fully operating. Till that time it makes no sense to come up with such predictions....
