As the match will be on "boxing-rules only",  Mayweather is the absolute favorite. But this game especially is much more for the show, like WWF or similar. To mach a whole bunch of money by selling PPV and nothing more.

No questions about it. Mayweather will win this since its gonna be a boxing match. Connor is good but he can't beat the like of defensive boxer like Floyd. But if he got a lucky punch, similar to Marquez hitting Pacquiao, then he will KO Floyd and shock the boxing and MMA world. And yes, they are making a lot of money here. PPV will break the Pacquiao-Mayweather record.

I don't believe anymore in fairness of boxing after I witness the biggest bluff of boxing in the Match of Pcaquiao vs Horn. Any player are winning base on effort and not by stats score. I will not be shocked once Connor won against Mayweather even the fight turns into decision game, SOme huge organization/people are manipulating the result for their personal interest. MMA is now the best and authentic.

We cant still be sure since WBO made a recounting on that fight which turns out that Horn did really won the fight. In this case theres no need to murmured about his loss but accept it. Regarding on the Mayweather  and Mcgregor fight if its on boxing style rules only then theres already a clear winner here and i strongly believe that McGregor would really feel the difference on fighting purely on boxing than on the thing he got use to MMA.

I can't believe this dog and pony show has moved the lines on McGregor's side.  I should have made a bet on him as soon as the lines opened.  Does anybody think the lines will go back up to 7.00 or above?  I think it's the dumb money getting in right now and getting excited for McGregor's trash talking.  So there might be a chance it could once the sharps starts pouring money on Mayweather.

McGregor is just a blow hard.
We all know a boxer has technical skills. When they land a punch they know how to put all their power into that one punch. Time and time again.
This guy who MMA fights is just a brawler.
If it's boxing rules then how can he grapple and "knock him with an elbow off his eyebrow" if these are boxing rules. He will be disqualified if he goes with MMA rules and he will lose the fight if he goes all ballistic.
Boxers are patient and know when to land the punch that will finish the job.
Sure MayWeather is small but so is Paquiaio.
In his prime he can out fight any UFC/MMA fighter when it comes to his environment in the boxing ring.
Now if it was UFC/MMA rules. then this would be whole different story. McGregor would murder him since it is in the octagon and that is his domain. But that is not the situation here. :-\

i have been watching MMA athlete fight for boxing rule and usually they're looks trouble for every round because not used to fighting with boxing rule and actually McGregor isn't that bad for boxing match even he has knockout his latest opponent Jose Aldo with knockout so basically he has a killing punch but indeed Mayweather has very clever when he provoking his opponent so although if this fight probably will belongs to Mayweather i think McGregor would not easily to defeated

McGregor has really gone nuts on this. He would have the chance if it were on the octagon. Boxing isn't his field now. He does have a boxing background but Floyd has made it his career out of it, floyd will just keep running that's how he fight.

While I agree on some of the points raised here about the boxing issue. but really fighting is fighting. if you have it you have it.. and McGreggor 100% has the heart to do some damage here and really upset the natural order of things.

Fighters can adapt. We are seeing this more and more in the world of combat sports.

While I agree floyd is one hell of a fighter and should not be taken ligthy I think possibly bowing out at 49-0 would of been the smart move.

I think he will have the fight of his life ahead of him if this fight has been 5-8 years ago... Wow.. but now with the breaks he has had the lifestyle he lives today.. TMT lifestyle is not good for your boxing..

Sure that was a shit show for sure,Mayweather and their team is controlling everything and when they thought that Mayweather is loosing the battle they shut the microphone and we need a fair play in this press conference rather than having a speech session.They still have three more press conference to go and i hope they will change that and i really could not hear most of the things they are telling.

This is some f**ked up stuff i really love both of em and never expected that we may see both of them facing each other but i have a feel the match won't last long and mayweather have faced pacquiao and defeated him so I'm gonna go with mayweather and mcgregor get's distracted alot which may get him losing

THIS !!! It's really sucks both fighters can't trashtalk each other like the UFC thing. So many people on the venue and they only got that, lmao. I hope they will change the format of the conference on the next tour, like the UFC one.

There is a reason they have different conferences for each thing, one for UFC and one for Boxing. McGregor said that he is used to a different type of conference  (if you have watched the conference) and you would know that it's quite different and there are a lot of trash talking happening between them, for sure, they wouldn't change a thing just because of that.

McGregor said he will knock out Mayweather within 4 rounds. And he said "Mark my words" it's completely different on his profession but I did put my bet on Mayweather. It's just about the money and sports nowadays is just about business. We can't tell but maybe Conor has a grudge to Mayweather's boasting attitude.

round 4 will not be hard for mayweather to hang on as we knew how he fight and what skills he got inside the ring McGregor will only win this if lucks and mafia's will be at his side money matters and all for publicity its better to wait until the bell completes.

It will be hard to mcgregor to beat mayweather in just a round 4 it is not a UFC fight ,it is nore on ability ang knowledge ,mcgregor isn't a boxer although he have some skills and real hard fights than mayweather they have both a good advantages in different point however floyd is too smart in boxing .He do dirty punch and keep hugging or running . I hope this fight will be a good punch for punch battle.
