Hi Everyone,

My name is Riyaz and I am from India.I am new to this cryptocurrency world.I am active in this coin market since last 6months and within this short time period I came across a huge number of  projects some of them already launched, ICO going on and ICO upcoming.There are a lots of new projects with different and unique aims to achieve by collecting money from public.Some of projects seems very promising which leads us to a new ERA of technology in currency.With this flood of projects now this question arises that is this whole system trustworthy and reliable??? as we have seen lots of online cheats.Lots of project promoters run with investors money.Its true new ERA totally going to depend upon technology and why not  online money exchanges.I have seen projects which already running successful businesses all over world and now they are creating their own coins and time not far from where we will see every company or business house in this world create their own crypto coins instead of stocks or shares.
Now what will be the future of this new born cryptocurrency world with lots of pros and cons.What measure an investor needs to take before making an investment decision.On what parts he/she needs to search.
I am new and these are my views based on my last 6months experience and now I invite my senior members or everyone  who have lots of experience in this crypto world and guide newbie like me to gain knowledge and also share their experiences of all kind like success and failure,cheat etc......they came across.

The future is actually very unknown.

Some of the ICO's look promising but we just don't know if the global public will accept these technologies.
There are also a lot of ICO's which are selling air. They are enriching themselves and will probably stop updating soon.

I suggest you do the research on each project to look if it's viable or not.

I'm pretty sure about 90% of current coins will disappear in the next years.

Nobody is sure of the future, but I think 1 or 2 Altcoins will surely succeed and those that position themselves in this project will be rewarded greatly

Thanks for your comment brother and valuable suggestion.I think there are more thank 5000+ crypto coins circulating at this time and many more coming.Behind every coin there is a big project outline with lots of promises and future developments.Ideas behind projects seems not bad but I think it depends upon team working there,but how can find who is trustworthy and dedicated. I invested small amount in a new project PATIENTORY which seems very promising to me and idea behind it is in demand and create a lots of market.

There are lots of more projects with innovative ideas and good future because of demand but as there is nobody to govern them so there is a lots of chances of cheating.

There are currently a few ground-breaking projects that are flying under the radar and/or at a very early stage of development.

Yes you are right nobody can predict about the future, But the ideas behind every project seems like its requirement of everyone in current scenario with lots a developments in technology.As I came across a lots of upcoming projects where they explained their ideas behind  their projects seems necessity of time.There is project with name Patientory, launched their coin recently and they are working on idea where Healthcare entities can secure private health information and electronic medical record storage computing platform.To me this idea is very much in demand and if promoters and developers of patientory work hard then this coin will rise very soon.There are lots of projects like this in different fields with huge demand all over the world.
For me here is a need of a governing body which can scan every project from top to bottom and give some rating to then so that investors can invest their hard earned money for a bright future.

Brother, when you search about a project and when you invest in a particular project or coin definatly you are live but as soon as you put your own money in a project or coin your next moment is future.Even if you promote a particular project for any kind of reward still if anyone invest because of our marketing think about future, isn't it??? Anyway I am trying to open a new discussion and let's see what outcome will come.

The future really has to do with thinking about joining the Cryptocurrency world. Real example is that as of 2009, I know about bitcoin but I also belong to people who do not appreciate it and do not pay attention to it for a long time, until now I am still a little bit Sorry and thinking that if the 2009 time I hoard only a few hundred bitcoin now my life will be much better. Lol  ;D

So we can see the future is very difficult to guess, especially in a large Cryptocurrency world like now, who knows who will die or become immortal in the next few years. The only thing that is possible is to actively explore, evaluate a coin based on all the subjective concepts of the crowds and their own subjective to decide whether to embrace hope for it or not.

And I hope that my choice will be right and 10 years later I will be a millionaire! Lol!  8)

Nothing is certain in this world, nor in cryptocurencies, we all here can only predict. And some of our predictions are in accordance with what is predicted, so I think experience is the best teacher for this

Yes I made a mistake by opening this thread in altcoin announcement instead of discussion.Actually I created this thread because there are a lots of new altcoins projects going on.I am sorry for mistake.

Here comes the experience.I also start trading and investing in stock market in year 2005-06 and came across forex market during 2010.I tried forex market and in 2011 I heard about this word CRYPTOCURRENCY and thats because of Bitcoin but never traded it till I read an article about Bitcoin and how its price rises to $1000 and then came down and again rise and also how a person who bought about 10000 bitcoins with only $27 in 2009-10 and forgot about them and when he read about Bitcoin price in a newspaper he search his login etc detail and fortunately he had those all things and he turn millionaire.I bought my first cryptocurrency in 2015 on a forex trading platform where broker was providing free money($10) to test their platform.I bought Litecoin $2(5coin) but later I sold them and now few days back I have seen litecoin touch $55.I start study about cryptocurency about 6month back.I bought my first altcoin Ripple @.03cent per coin and invested only $35 which later turn in some $450+.Its a huge profit according to investment.
I see huge potential in this market and its early stage but same time risk is very much because of online frauds,hacking etc.So my purpose of discussion is to share our knowledge?experience with each other to protect ourselves and everyone from scams and off course if investors survive only then this market could survive.

Future for may of the existing coins is still unkown.
But blockchain as a technology is here to stay.
Its going to be the most disruptive technology for the coming years.

Nothing is certain in cryptocurrency world. We can go up so high and we can fall as well to. This is still young so called currency and yet show so much potential in every aspect on global level. Why? Currently is worth more then gold, this year is crucial for development of bitcoin. Will this be good for it, we will see in next few weeks. Good thing is that since Japan fully adopted in every day transaction little by little many countries follow some small other big. So future is certain for bitcoin.

I would really be more confident on bitcoins progress rather on altcoin and as you said its being already gradually been accepted in some parts of the world and being used already on some transactions which is really a good thing and do indicates that its adoption is on the move.Yes,we are still young and crypto is still about 8 years and it already made some innovations which cant really be compared on todays inventions.

Quite interesting thing about Bitcoin.its yet accepted by some entities,countries etc...and its price rises and touch almost $3000 per coin.Now question is that what will be it's price when Bitcoin get widely accepted??? Any idea???

Every day we see here on bitcointalk and other sites  a new lCO opening with a new project??? How you elaborate new coin projects???Is there aim different than Bitcoin???
As I think Bitcoin's develpors aim was quite different from current coin project develpors.
Bitcoin's aimed for a new revolution in online system.But every new project seems like company opening their IPO's or share and selling them.Isn't it.????⅝

The answer is infinite. Price would really depend on the demand of bitcoin if its high then assume that price would really be high too but no one could able to know on when it would be accepted mostly on most  countries globally considering that bitcoin is decentralized which is really a hindrance or blockage on its fullest extent of its potential. Its really a great innovation the same thing with other useful alts too in the market.

Why not? We all want a better future for our certain invested crypto-currency right?
We want our supported altcoin to gain more value so that we could somehow make money our of it or we could tell ourselves that we did a good job into picking the best one. Not just randomly choosing or would just go with the bandwagon which later will be dumped.

No need to bother only in a case when we are just taking part in only bounty hunting and get our share and earn whatever we get from a particular coin whether that particular coin price rise/fall or that coin disappear, we loss nothing. But same time we need to bother when we plan to invest our hard earned money in small/large amounts  in a particular project.At that time we really need to think about future and we need to search about all factors.

Also when we take part in bounty campaigns of any project, we joined hand with them to advertise their project on our social network where our online friends or anyone else invest with our trust(because maybe they trust us as online friend or our kith/kin) in that particular project and we invite our social media circle towards an unknown risk,whose intensity even not clear us in real.
I agree there is nothing in this world without risk and investments are always subjected to some risks.But still whenever we plan to make investments we put some measures of risk factors so that if something went wrong we can bear that risk.
 

Future is an infinite number of different scenarios / realities and each of us can make one or some of those realities more probable. Blockchain technology is yet very immature, but undoubtedly it is going to change the world by making it more connected. In terms of investments in crowd sales , I would say that it should be no different from any other investment decision you make, you have to  (1) understand the essence of the project, wether the idea is viable or not, does it create any value (2) get to know the core team, speak to them, research on their background, try to understand their incentives. Some people are so cheap, they would trade their reputation for a couple of Ks, some people would never trade it for even billions of dollars. I would ask the founders, what is their incentives, why they work on this not anything else. In the end, almost everything in the world is about people's relations, so make sure you understand people, you are donating / investing in.

You could make money with Bitcoin during that time period in a number of ways.

I agree with brother.Online investment like this always subjected to some risks.Risks from promoter if they are not reliable and their aim is only to cheat people, risks from hackers and all other online cheaters.So I think its better to search on all aspects before making an investment decision and this crypto world is new yet and need time to mature and needs lots of measures,developments in near future.For an investor to survive in this market ,search on all aspects of a project and money management/risk management is essential part otherwise he/she out soon from this market.

Here are new projects coming with new ideas in different fields like sports,music,casinos,agriculture,healthcare,transport,supercomputer storage etc.....even today I have seen a project coming with LOVE COIN.Some of them seems very promising as idea behind them is in demand globally and this demand will increase with time like there is project recently launched with name Patientory which is related to healthcare.But some projects seems very ridiculous.I have seen lots of projects created coins for crowdfunding to get funds for their company's needs.

I agree. Cryptocurrency will continuously improve as time pass by. The exchange values of the coins might be in dump as of now but eventually it will get back to where it came from and get high compared to its prices as of now.

Once you had said that it was understandable,there is no reason to say the same thing twice in a row and if it was a mistake I would advise that every time you do a post you should at least give a little review to avoid things like that.

The future lies with those coins which will survive out of the rest. With most coins dying out due to pump and dump mechanics, the altcoins which will survive the race are the ones which have good developers, stability within its reach and how they approach the market.

From the way I see it, the future of crypto currency is still evolving which means there are still several grounds to be tapped and covered and the future is very much secure despite the various challenges that is being witnessed here and there. Like everyone else have agreed, the future is bright but it wont go seamless as several factors will come and militate against it. A lot of them will die along the way while some will follow us to the future but the most important is how many of us here will still hold still till that future?

So brother today we got a perfect example to get bother about future of cryptocurrency world.As one of ongoing project COINDASH lots its whole hard work and with that lots of investors lost their money.Some one hack main page of Coindash and steel lots of money.This is what the current news coming and there is lots of hoch poch in coindash channels.They are doing their best to cool down all who invested and also take part in promotion.I have seen Coindash's Avatar on your profile too thats why share it here.I also promoted this project on social media because it seems promising to me too.Now where promoters made mistake only they know it.They were giving warning since last 2-3days on their slack channels about phishing attacks and they were insisting investors to use their official website www.coindash.io but hacker attacked directly their website instead of wasting their time to send fake links to community members etc.

Well, I agree to that the future or cryptocurrency still unknown. However, I still believe on that and I think it has a good future. In addition to that, I think cryptocurrency will continue in improving and I think no one from all coin will die. Lastly, bitcoin and altcoin will survive because they have good developers that help to improve their uses.

Crypto is the new economy. Whether they like it or now. People will accept it unless they want to be left behind. The price of Btc wouldn't grow if it weren't accepted by merchants and people. The altcoins today will soon be accepted too.

Everything improve over time so is the case with any crypto. Some improve less other more that how thing go, some have bigger value other not.
But if we look at altcoin that is something completely different no many have been stable and have good development most new ones are based on tokens, in my opinion just another way to take bitcoin from us. Many of them die completely after few month few are examples that other ones need to follow.

After a dip market flourished again and now rises every day to a new height.On August 1, news about Bitcoin split came but it didn't affect market.Yes few days before Bitcoin news there was a dip in the crytocurrency market.Bitcoin fell below $2000 mark from high of $2700, Etherum too fell below to $125 per coin from a high of $425 and many more cryptocurrencies fell to their lows.Now after news Bitcoin rises to a High of $3400+ and Ethereum is $275 and other cryptocurrencies are also in green.It seems market is breaking new records every passing day now.Seems future is good for cryptocurrencies but with cautions.Best of luck to all investors and participants.

i agree. There is no certainty of the future of cryptocurrencies. We can only state wise guesses or visions that may happen with the perecentage of 50%. So like what's stated it is possible that 90%  of these coins, including the king, the bitcoin or btc if the things that will occur in the future will be fateful. But if it become worser, it may even wipe the whole world of cryptocurrency. These are just guesses, they have no direct proofs. Just prepare for the worst, it will helpful if we are secured for the future.

I agree too.A research is much needed even we just promoting a project.Maybe we don't invest our own money but there is a chance any one from our friend circle or anyone else who see the promotion of the project through us get affected.Few days back a project with name SKY WAY was collecting funds through crowdfunding but here on BCT some members did research and found that the main company didn't know anything about this ICO.So they posted here and since then there is no update from that ICO skyway. Means they were doing some cheating which was caught by some BCT members.
So research is the first and foremost step to perform before any further decison

We don't know what's happening on cryto world in the futute but i pretty sure that the value of some good coins will rise so hard and bitcoin too it's 10% possibilty that the bitcoin currency will fall in future because when it's getting older it will become so much popular and every so many investors added in the crypto currency world and soon it will use in the real market like fast food and grocery store and any othe shop and many features will added.

I share some of your sentiments, bro. Projects using ICO should better be sure and certain about what they are entering into. Haphazardly created projects will for sure end up dead in a short while. I hope developers and the entire team of projects stick to their projects even if the ICO and all the preliminary steps have been done already. Marketing should always be there until the end.

This has been applied in the Japanese market. They are gradually switching to Bitcoin and restricting the use of cash, which is interesting for the Japanese people because they do not need to bring cash.

Every coin has chance to become number one, but real market also has their own answer. That's way as a trader or investor we only can predict and follow, not control it. Six months experience is good but I suggest you stay learn and fix your strategy before invited someone to share their knowledge. But your start on cryptocurrency world is the right step. Good luck.

Yes no one knows what will happen in crypto world in the future there might be coins that will stay long and others will be gone but one thing is for sure if every people in the world will use bitcoin then I think the price of bitcoin will not drop instead it will skyrocket. The more people will hold bitcoin means the supply of bitcoin will be few so the value will be high, its a supply and demand thing.

This 90% can be on ICO project that are pup up every day with some new and unique stuff. But this is 50-50 chances that you will get lost your investment also other 50 is that will regain your investment or get something bigger in return. This is main problem with ICO most dont last long. Like line from T2 Judgment day "Future is not set". Any crypto is not set and we dont know how will it effect in this future for any coin.

I think crypto currency will make a great change and make a good future
I think in future cyptocurrency will create large capitalization and will a great future currency will also defeat physical currency and produce a new currency market in the world.

Soon many people will switch to bitcoin and many business man and company will become interested in bitcoin when it gets popular, As now bitcoin is not so much popular in the world but look in it's price it's so fast to become high value what else if all of business investors switch to bitcoins? I have been wondering what Google has been doing in this space for some time and my research has thrown up some interesting points. I know there is no way Google are ignoring the issue of digital currency.

My understanding is that Google keeps strong links to those trusted employees even when they move on to other projects and at times does collaborate.
With that in mind I reviewed the activities of a number of ex Google-ites to see if any have entered the crypto space and viola !

The development team for WeTrust (TRST) includes a couple of guys who were deep in at Google by the name of George Li and Ron Merom. They are working towards a finance model for banking services to be used in the mainstream which utilises the ancient concept of a ROSCA  (shared pot by trusted circle) which is still popular right across Asia. It allows access to capital on a group peer-to-peer basis. This is embedded in south east asian cultures. This will prove to be highly successful as the team progresses this to the mainstream. Reading between the lines it appears that the Dev team may have retained links and/or may even be working in league with the tech giant, Google.  (No proof yet but I’ll keep digging) Anyway do your own research on this one.

One thing is for sure: Cryptocurrency is here to stay. Right now, all cryptocurrencies are doing well in the market with bitcoin strongly on top. This trend continues. I'm confident the teams behind this technology are working hard round the clock to achieve great results every day.

Not only Japan many people soon following cashless transaction, many governments are following same ethics because people are lot circulating a lot of fake notes. In order to reduce these things, governments want to reduce the paper money and forcing the people to use cashless payments.

We cannot predict the future of cryptocurrency but we can speculate about it. ICO here and there and there are so many coins that would lost its value overtime. What we can do is to be always updated of the news and what is happening to the crypto world because there are so many opportunities to earn from it. There are cryptos who can really help us in our daily lives like doing the transactions with transparency without the need of middlemen which can become undependable when its come to fiat. Blockchain technology would make our life more convenient when its totally implemented worldwide.

There will be a few long-term winners. I suspect BTC, ETH, and LTC will be around in 2025.  I also see XMR as holding its own due to growing privacy concerns. IOTA is a dark-horse that may be the next big thing if businesses are to find the technology useful. Also, blockchain companies or organizations in China, India, and other developing countries are likely to thrive, as people prefer native platforms. So NEO looks very promising. I also suspect there will be some niche-related successes. It's just hard to say at this point who will survive in the long run.

And in my country, most shops accept Visa/Mastercard for replace paper money payment. My country still very poor, so use Visa/Mastercard in my country not popular in last year. But after see the Bitcoin growth in this year, the government recommend shops in my country should use Visa/Mastercard for payment before they use blockchain or cryptocurrency in next year for replace paper money. ;D

The future of the cryptocurrency world was very much unpredictable. No one can predict how a bitcoin or crytos can be gone or stay. I would love to see soon what cryptocurrency became in the near future. Maybe we don't need to being cash cause every transactions will be online.

It is true that we don't know yet what will happen to cryptocurrency in the future but if I am to ask what will happen in the future of cryptocurrency is it might be a new source of income but it should be balance to the government currency so the money flow is equal. We should not depend so much to this cryptocurrency because it might be the start of losing the value of government currencies.

I think if this will have a bad impact on the government currency they will certainly act decisively against the circulation of the crypto currency.
And so far the circulation of the crypto currency has no negative effect on the value of the real currency.

I am also not sure about far future of cryptoworld. There are no concrete steps for the cryptoworld future. There are many projects ofcourse but most of them are not used in common life. People are only supporting the projects to earn money that is it.

The future is well and safe for the crypto world and it is the future how people deal things,but despite all these i am not sure about the shit coins out there,there are some outstanding good coins and i am talking about that and not the coins that are into existence just for name sake and dump and pump purposes. :P

I have to agree with this and those ideas said here was having nice thoughts which I considered inspiring to lot of people who view bitcoin digital currency straight forward of their goals set aside. Those attracted investors will gain maximum confidence level as they will see future cypto currency value rising on it's price for next month's time, and the predictions really revealing as time kept on ticking so better wait for the exact time; crypto currency word will be shining all the like the famous stars in the universe.

Since many coins are showing its appearance cryptocurrency will not easily destroy or it will survive,so if the coins will grow and grow and will have many types of coins it will be a good sign that cryptocurrency will be successfull.Cryptocurrency will have many users and many rich people will invest and use this in the future,as of now cryptocurrencies are very useful and technological what if the time passes by the crypto will be a main money in the future.

Agreed.  I look forward to the day that cryptocurrency matures into the idea that what matters most is not things/possessions/material worth/ego/power, but connections to each other and experiences, being a good human.  I'm looking forward to seeing it evolve!

Government are trying to create there own blockchain but seem like they wont succeed with this any time soon. They want to control as much as possible but crypto made point that everything is anonymous. Blockchain is something that they didnt anticipated to be even possible now when they see that thing are little out of them to control they are trying to find any way to gain some control.

I agree with you, the government is simply discouraged by losing control over people over their free time and can not know the incomes of citizens. Therefore, more often we hear that the government prohibits crypto currency or says that it is dangerous

The bright future ahead on crypto are  clear and promising.cryptocurrency is not just a simple digital currency it already  a commodity  it  will soon make a huge change in the near future.
As long there is a demand, support and community around, it will continously make its own mark, in addition to that it will attract more investors and technoprenuer to develop new valuable project using blockchain technology.

It will follow growing but probably more regulations will impact this sector and only portion of it will survive

I agree with you . The crypto market is being considered as the most potential market at the moment as it is easy for us to make a good profit. I think in the future people will use this market to be the center of the financial world

Let's check bitcoin graph on past 7 years, and yes it keep increasing over year which mean that more people around the world trust on bitcoin , decide to invest into super power currency that ever exist

The growth of cryptocurrency depends the growth of Bitcoin in next time, we just need get accept from most people on the world, the future like your said will become true.

$170 billion is already invested in crypto space now. It will only increase in 2018 an we see  ATHs for lot of altcoins.

Yeah, the marketcap is still growing up a lot :) I think the altcoins need just a bit more time, bitcoin is too strong imho.

I agree with you and in the next few years Bitcoin will be the most potential market in the world. Everyone must keep up with the new era and Bitcoin will be legalized around the world

Having tons of new coins is only confusing and unneeded situation, so far in crypto-world, we have a model of predatory capitalism where everyone can offer their own product.
While I like the free market and total lack of constraints at the same time I would like to see some kind of regulation put into place to protect investors/consumers.
With the amount of money invested into crypto grows I expect that sooner or later US Securities and Exchange Commission or similar regulatory authority will take a closer look at what is going on.
