 i am newbie and want to buy waves or stratis, can any one guide ,which coin i have to buy for long term waves or stratis.

wawes - ETH like but better

I would go for Stratis because its ETH killer with Segwit supported,
Side chain will solve network clogging,
Master node
and C# is the best programming language

I would choose Waves over Stratis. Waves has some good updates coming out in Q3 and Q4 of this year. Stratis has been declining for the last 2 months. Or you can split and buy both.

Though I am for waves since I am using this already but it seems stratis is worth a try. Thanks for this information it really narrow my choices and also to think for another choices.

Stratis is long term development project it's worth to invest. I'm holding more till the end of this year because the platform will be ready to fully use there. The CEO, Chris said Stratis is now ready to open smart contact ICO.

I would choose waves since it can be used as gas in waveswallet which most ICO are going to use waves platform instead of eth contract.

No most people will be using EOS in 6 months time.

One thing to add about the Stratis dev team is that they always deliver on their promises and on time, waves dev team on the other hand hype up a lot and always under deliver. I think waves is still a great platform just between the two I would always choose Stratis.

I would definitely go with Waves, great platform, easy to use and many upcoming ICOs. They have a strong development team and a great marketing team, could see it easily hitting $50 within a year.

Long time supporter of waves and yes it is true that the platform is great and the developers are always supporting with queries. But you may not know that Stratis is supported by the Giant Microsoft. So there is potential for that too.

Both of them. Don't lose opportunity of investing in any of them. Both waves and stratis are coins that all cryptocurrencies traders should have some of them and it's very difficult to select one of these coins.
Lots of ICOs will use waves platform in coming months and it will cause waves to rise in value very much. This is why we shouldn't lose the good opportunity of investing in waves before high rise in price.

I suggest to buy waves. stratis is good too, but I prefer to waves.
You also can buy both of them , half each,to reduce the risk.

Go for both. That's my suggestion. Both have good prospects. As a matter of fact, I am also holding a moderate amount of Stratis and waves in my trading platform which is bittrex.

I am planning to hold them long term. They have just dipped in price for the last few days but starting yesterday they start to bounce back. I hope this will continue with a little fluctuation along the way.

stratis is okay but I don't like devs that jump out of other projects leaving promises unfulfilled.

I am also equal to you, if I have to choose the waves or stratis I will choose the waves to be my investment in Altcoin, because the waves are better than the static. You can see the waves in Bittrex with a very good selling point in the market.

Both are good but I predict that stratis will be more valuable because of its future corporation collaborations.

WAVES ftw. Their wallet via google app, and phone is super user friendly. Building tokens on the WAVES platform is easy as can be. We need more projects like this to draw more people into this space.

I guess this coin stratis will be reaching to top currencies in the world in crypto prices towards marketplace. Just like the valuable effect of eth which now became 2nd to bitcoin's price value with regards to selling and buying.  Buyers will go a lot ways as stratis will going to be digitaly traded online and long term investment is the best decisions to have for now.

Check both of them and make your decision, currently both are overvalued ( both risen too strong in the last couple of weeks)

Read the whitepapers and decide which one might have a better real world usecase in the next few years.

Both coins are pretty good. I would select the one that feels more important since the technology around it should last a while if they are real projects.

Bitcoin is going up, down and sideways so the price of most Altcoins will recieve a weird price when something big happens. People are using Waves more than Stratis so I would choose Waves over Stratis because of that one fact. Stratis is an alright coin, I don't really care for the price of it.

Go 30% Waves and 70% STRATIS ... though I prefer later more as it has got the capability to reach level of ETH (that's different story whether it will or not)

I will advise you go for wave as it current price and market capitalization show that many people are buying into it currently. Wave token are being used by many new ICO and many new ICO are now accepting wave as investment. I will actually go for wave instead of strats.

Stratis is a good project but speculation is too large and has the ability to control prices but don't worry about that if long-term investment I also will choose stratis

WaVES has good future but I don't like the DEX platform, it is difficult to trade in the platform. The coin is interesting with token assets. I think waves will be the next eth chain that the price will slowly rise. More projects based on waves are succesful.

How can you say that both are underpriced?
Did you started with trading 2 Weeks ago? Where Waves was at 5$ and Straatis at 10$?
Open the chart and check out the past 3 months.. Waves was at 0.2$ this year and stratis even lower. So waves is currently at 2.70$ and Stratis at around 3.50$ - tell me again that both are currently undervalued.

Every time when I have a dilema about which coin to buy I share my money for both, cause of their chances to pumpis similar and only from users the result depends. Good luck!  ;)

What coins feature Waves? I usually don’t see that many coins using waves for their ICO or regular launches for that matter. Waves could get to a point where it gets really popular and a bunch of people want to purchase it with the hopes of getting more money from it though there doesn’t seem to be much after that.
The price of the coin is pretty good, I would invest in it if it was back at a couple dozen cents per coin.

Actually you need both waves & stratis.. Both have huge potential.. Waves can be of more value in future since other tokens are being built on top of it and things can explode anytime.. Stratis on the other hand have a really good core team and their development progress is visible every week. Slack channel has been active ever since the days of bounty and they mean serious business too. Both got huge potential and if i were you, i would get both of them and wait it out...

I'd say underpriced in the sense that both Waves & Stratis could break the $100 range.. Both can rise as high as Ethereum went potentially..

Waves has a strong community. And they aim to produce a good exchange platform of the future. So I vote for waves obviously. It has a good support behind.

I'd say they are both good choices. You can buy a little of both.

The only important thing that comes to mind is, that waves still has most of its path ahead, and it's only around 3-4x ICO now, so its price will most probably explode in the future. Stratis, on the other hand, is already around 100x ICO price, and its price can pump to moon or dump to oblivion. Both are probable.

If I were you I'd get %60-70 waves and %30-40 stratis.

My opinion same. If wait for chance for growth - waves, but stratis - great platform!

Doesn't matter if you go 50/50, 70/30 or 90/10.  You'll make money at these prices.  Just need to participate and buy.  Spectators don't make money. 

Ideally you should invest both, according to your needs! The profit is not too high, but you do not lose too much. Generally depending on your needs and abilities!

Waves has a potential but it may pass a lot of time, Stratis is really intresting and his strong enough to grow

For me both are very good coins for long term purpose and I am holding both of them and I am sure both of these coins will be very valuable in the future so if you want to hold them for long term I will advice you to hold both of them you will get good reward in future.

I would go for Waves because Sasha managed to do the same thing than Vitalik did with Ethereum : making it cool. Sasha is doing lots of conferences, while a solid technology is being built by its team. So go with it. However aim the very long-term !

I suggest to buy both of them , waves half, stratis half. Both of these two coins are good enough to invest.

Both are great. I don't think yuou could go wrong investing in either. However I think Stratis had greater potential. But I would wait until the .market bottoms out before investing in anything right now

I used to have most of my holdings in Stratis and Waves and made some nice profits especially from Strat but traded most of them recently to BTC
After the Segwit/BIP148 drama settles down, I plan to buy again Strat and Waves

I don't have any view on stratis, I have watched waves for 3 months, i think it's a good coin for long term investment.
Waves platform is widely spreading with the icos which are waves based.

if you did buy on STRATIS in the past on cheaper price then you would definitely swim on profits as of now which its price do increase if you do try to see now. Waves and Stratis do have potential and i do really have these coins on my blockfolio and when prices do go up i do actively buy and sell which i do really earn profits on it.

Both for me because Waves and Statis is looks great and they're also have a potential if the price is low then buy it and hold for long term and if the price is increase then sell

Jokes apart, I'm curious about Stratis, could someone try to convince me with solid arguments why it'd be better than waves?

Same, I sold Stratis during the recent pump and bought waves instead. Unfortunately they have both dropped since then.

As for one argument of why Stratis is better is the trustless bitcoin tumbling feature of its masternodes guarantees there will be high demand to buy Stratis. One argument as to why waves is better would be the DEX which I think is amazing despite still having a very low volume compared to centralized exchanges.

Too bad I didn't get into Stratis at the beginning.

But I'm in Waves and optimistic about that invesment.

I have waves but not alot.  I looked at stratis and price has been going up a lot.  What price would you say its worth buying up to?  Do you see this coin going up to 50 dollars or even 100 dollars?  I also looked at the price history but i noticed this coin went all the way up to 10 dollars at one point before dropping all the way down.  Then it goes back up etc.


So would this be the right time to buy etc?  I dont know much about this coin.

Stratis coins are like hyped and pumped up very hard. I don't want to buy them because of the high price. But waves still has more way to increase its price. And their exchanger should be implemented. I don't know, maybe we can buy both.

It is better to buy both, but If I were OP I would put a bigger percent of my stash in crypto on waves rather than stratis, because waves for me is better than stratis. Stratis is pretty risky to invest into right now considering it is hyped and pumped up very hard. On the other hand, waves' growth is just pure market movements and not that hyped at all, I guess it is stting in it's true value right now.

With me if compare the platform blockchain and creating token for ICOs, Waves better than Stratis because Stratis is a token under platform blockchain of Ethereum, unlike Waves, they own a platform blockchain for themselves and developing from it.

I think Waves are better, because of the fucntionallity and supported built in web browser exchange program, which allows you to change your cryptocurrencies inside the program without using any additional programs or methods. Plus Waves have a really nice growth, because of the simple made program and giving a chance to all of the new cryptocurrencies to trade on their web site

I like both and they are both included in my investment portfolio. Stratis has typically done better but Waves has equal potential to do the same in the future.

I wouldn't want to bet on one over the other so I bet on both.

While the market cap on straits is higher both waves and straits are great Altcoins to invest in.
Both have similar circulating supply's and will grow on similar parallels.
Waves is cheaper so if you don't have a lot to swing go that route but honestly a healthy balance between the two is the way to go.

There are some here who choose Stratis over Waves. There are also some who prefers Waves over Stratis. So, what to do? Have a share of both. They are both great coins after all. Investing on both Waves and Stratis in a long term basis will yield some decent profit. Also, it is always better to diversify your portfolio.

I like both but unfortunately do not have hardly any holdings in either. I am thinking to buy some of each and hold but I am not sure if the price is too expensive now for an entry point unless both of them decide to do an ETH in the future. I will try to purchase and hold both because both have unique functionalities. I also believe ARDOR is good too and we should buy some of that also.

I actually use the waves platorm in a practical sense and thats more than i can say for pretty much all the other alts. I like the dex feature and ability to create any token you want. There is room for improvement but it works for now.

I didn't make enough research for Stratis but I wish I go some  :D

Buy Waves, lease it and forget about it. Only look at token prices if you want.
Just look Waves prices weekly. You will profit very similar to Ethereum.

Stratis I think has a better dev team and useful product for long term potential that's why I own a fair bit , For me Waves investors here have mainly based their success on others building on their platform I don't like to rely on others to carry them , I think both will increase a lot but Stratis will go further.

I am one of a member of the group. As I know, stratis is the best cryptocurrency for long term because it is segwited already. As you see in the chart of stratis coin the price of it is from the past 2 months between now is  increasing continuously. In waves coin, it is also good coin but not for long term.

Not WAVES, not stratis, I chose ETH. Compared to WAVES, stratis, ETH is strong and superior, ETH is the highest growth currency. It even increased thousands % in just one year. A terrible number.

I think a person should invest in both waves and straits. Both of these projects are very progressive and you can expect a massive growth of your capital within 1 year or so.

But honestly stratis is the winner, but both of them are not comparable with the ethereum. A lot of people interested in the ethereum development. Remember the stratis and waves has to be an early competitor for ethereum project. But stratis looks very well than waves.

Waves and stratis is both good investment. But For me waves is better than stratis because this coin its look like ethereun coin after few years this coin the price will become hundreds dollars maybe around 300-500 dollars after 2 to 3 years . I think waves coin possible price will become 100 dollars if that happen for sure it will increase more because many investor will invest again in waves.

Waves team is more active and excited, and updating the system more often.

Both platforms have their respective advantages, but Waves is more consistent than Stratis. Now many new projects are coming to choose to work with waves and use their services. Stratis is more similar to Nxt that has not done much updates.

Stratis will have real world value and revenues. Waves is just another platform to house other shit coins without any real world value.

My choice is Waves, which has a big pitencial in future. Team is active and always looking for new pertnership.

Both of these are good to hold for medium to long term and both should go up.
Hard to know which one is better easily.

Waves or stratis. I prefer waves because it is more often heard and pretty good in its application. But sometimes confusing by way of login which I think is a bit complicated. But the risk must be accepted if you want to have an extra wallet level of security  :)

Waves is one of the best choice for staking for long term but I can also say that stratis is good also so I think  I would stake for both of them to gather more profits and Focusing on 1 certain coin is very a big No for me since if the price would go drop then It will be a sorry time for me if I do that.

I see stratis prices increase considerably since the beginning of the year until now.

My loyalty to these two coins will be divided if you let me choose only one between Waves and Stratis. That is why I would highly suggest that you make your investment into half and put the one half into Waves and the other half into Stratis. It will give you a safer way to acquire profit.
