Hello everyone,

I have this question in my mind from a long time now and wondering whether anyone else too want to share the same feeling.

What will be the one thing you want to change in your country if you have the power.?
Starting with me, I feel the major problem in my country is a not having a strong and stable government, though this idea may seem a little off the edge but I would just allow only 2 parties in the whole country to fight on elections.
By doing that people will have to make a definite choice and the elected government will have some stability in running the country.

Happy to receive any opinions on this and let me know your thoughts.

I would get rid of privatized health insurance in the United States. For profit = Killing people for money.

Single payer solution would have its own set of problems, but it would cut out a lot of the BS.

I can't change my country's mode of governance but I will try to improve the low look towards technology and give a more room to the little students who have the love of technology.

I would change the pay scale of public school teachers to where there would never be a shortage of teachers anywhere in the United States.

I agree. If I were to change a thing in our country, that would be our government. Our government has big issues that leads to different problems. There are lapses with how they govern our country. Corruption is greatly experienced. I think, we must really have standards with the person we vote to become our leaders. I am very much sadden about the way they rule our country because I know that they can do better than that.

It's the politicians we choose. I have an idea regarding this.
The people who want fight elections should have at least worked in army. They'll be knowing how an organization works and their service to the society should start from army.

Unambiguously, politicians need to be changed. Each rowing in his pocket and preferably more. People are fed with promises and then they are forgotten about them.

I wanted to change a lot since my country has a lot of flawed. But I don't think that there is a flawless country I wanted to changed the government. How it works etc. I wanted to change the way people think about nature. I guess this thinking is not just in my country. Everyone is busy looking forward to achieve their dream without caring in our nature. No one wanted to give nature a hand .

That's a noble thing to say. It is quite difficult to choose conserving nature as a dream or aim. Most of the dreams are on success, Fame and money but they don't understand that if nature dies then nothing will be there.
As per being flawless is concerned, a wise man once said No country is perfect, we need to work toward it's perfection.

Hmm..I'd like to change more than one thing if I could in my country.I believe that behind every little action and behavior it's hidden our education that we have taken from our family and school.Due to this reason I would changed the education system of Greece completely!

the core problem in my country is only 1 that is corrupt government

I would change a lot in my country because we have a corrupt government and it does not do anything good. But first of all, I would create new jobs for the poor and make medical care more accessible.

I will help the government in reducing unemployment and ignorance. Because these two things are often the reason for the crime.

If I get in power I will develop the cities and rural areas alike and give equal opportunities and facilities to all citizens.

First of all, I'll remove all the senators, ministers and the super corrupt people in government then I'll develop the Electricity generation  and transmission and also invest massively in the agricultural and technological aspect of the Economy 

corrupt people must put in jail because they put the money on thier pocket when the tax payer pay thier taxes..

For me here in the Philippines corruption and double taxation. this we help our country to be come successful.

If I had the power I would change the politics regarding vote banks politicians divide our society on the basis of religion they create differences among us for their benefit of vote banks and ultimately we people pay the price of their treachery....

Corrupt State

I would change the political and economic systems.

unfortunately the president of a country does not have so much power, at least in my country the president does not have so much power to change something, who rules is the political party (Rich people of the political party).

If I were president, I would create a democratic and just country, a country where every citizen would have his rights respected, a country where corruption cases would be reduced, a country where education and health would be accessible to all. A country where poverty would be reduced. would create policies that would encourage companies to help orphanages. It would develop the sport and end the discrimination.

There are so many things we can do to make the world a better place, but people do nothing. There are many companies that have the courage to destroy house of the natives only for these companies build their miners and not compensate the natives who own the land. Corrupt governments let this atrocity happen because they receive bribes from these companies

I want to change the unfair law of the state to be a just nation.😁😁

Instead they rob poor people they will rob currupt officials...

Government hospitals, will be the one thing I will change in my country. Only a few government hospitals here are at standard conditions, most of the others have poor conditions. Equipments, specialized doctors and health professionals are lacking in government hospitals here.

I would like my country to become free from unacceptable level of corruption. Corruption became a norm and anybody who has got some power tries to pump out as much money as they can.

What I want to change in my country is the street, in my country now the road to the means of transport is very broken, many places are sinking and forming holes, but the government of my country has not repaired.

the biggest problem in our country is traffic, because the large number of vehicles in our country. it is very difficult  for everyday to travel and work because of traffic. that's the one thing i want to change in my own country.

No more traffic please but it's too much impossible thing to happen. No more poor, rich people should help them so that no one will be starving.

To wipe off and clean the government of all the past government officials who worked with the corrupt president. Some of them remained in the position and they serving as worms or parasites that destroy the current rising government. I hate them and i want them totally out of the position, they have not done well so far so what good can they do more?

  In our country if i have position in our goverment and have the power . I want to build a shelter for those people who live in the streets, bridges, and other squaters area. A shelter that they have electricity and clean water especially work or small bussiness for their financial... So that they will never come back on the street again...

In my country main problem is corruption.if there is no corruption their are no poor people.and traffic.because of traffic millions of money are

The thing that I want to change in our country is being materialistic because people nowadays they are more worried of what they have than who they are. If there should be any change in my country and I have the power to that and it's highly possible, I will surely change the government and eradicate corruption. I just wish this were possible.

It would be the nation's mentality in general, its attitude towards corruption, principles and basic human values. In my native country, the people are too exhausted of the constant need to prove their right to be treated decently both as a nation and individually. This leads to the lack of faith in basic human values and honesty, people only believe in themselves and their comfort zone (family and friends, on rare occasion). Selfishness is caused by exhaustion, and I believe that a slightly friendlier environment would boost the development of a high-order society.
