Got the files, got the domain.

I'm setting it up right now.

Please have some patience, it's the first time I'm looking at those files and it might take me a little bit to figure out stuff.

What's left to be done:

Setup everything, (It's been more than 1 hour since I ordered the new server, but they're not sending me login info. Paid, etc, etc)
figure out the income distribution,
contact ad networks and let them know that I have taken over the site so they let me move banners to my accounts,
add automatic withdrawals to FH,

continue working on ZenAds

Still no mail.

It's been a quite long day for me today and I'll need to go chill.
First thing I'm going to do tomorrow is finish setting up the site and make it work by the end of the day.

With you taking ProL.ink over, will you also be updating the faucet script that Almin made for ProL.ink?

No, I am not going to work on any faucet scripts.
There's enough nice scripts and I don't want to get into faucet scripts, it wouldn't be fair for the other faucet script devs.

I'll try give at least 50% of the income, but I can't promise any CPM, because I've got no clue how much it pays, how it works, etc.

So, consider the first 2-7 days as testing period. You might get more, or less in those days, but I need to make sure we all are going to be happy.
If I'm able to give you $2 CPM and keep you happy and earn at least 20% of it, then I don't see why not.
But, if I start doing the math and see that the current CPM isn't sustainable, I'll need to drop it.

So, no hard feelings whatever happens, this is how business looks and I'm just being open and talking like a friend and not someone who's looking at you like at a product/customer.
We grind together.

Ok, so. Have to create a 2nd post because it's not related with the previous and I need your attention.

I've added FH auto withdraw option. I'm removing direct/coinbase/every other withdraw option.

Now, the users who're owed money from the previous owner, you can withdraw in a few hours.

After everyone has withdrew the coins from here, we're going NET7.

Assume the first week is a experimental week until I figure out what's best for all of us.

EDIT:
In order to be eligible for a withdraw, you must update your profile settings with your FaucetHub wallet address, or you will not receive your withdraw.

@ Chinese traffic exchange guy, you've lost your account.
Stop sending traffic exchange traffic in such quantities you tool, you're literally ddosing with your botnet.

Yes, I'll have to keep $5 as min withdraw for a few reasons, and the biggest reason is anti-theft from malicious users who might send fake traffic to their links.
Need to protect the coins from malicious users. This way I get more time to make sure everything works correctly

Are you going to be using this in all your games now?

If so, will this allow you to ease up on the reward decreases in your games, maybe even increase them in some places??

I was quite disappointed with the huge slash (75%) to blockfaucet activity rewards, it made it so it cost me satoshi on avg to just bet even once per block in my highest available room.
I think you should have considered something that wouldn't have squashed your players that have bought levels like making activity bonus scale with level rather than slashing 75% flat across the board.

Look, buddy.
I took 10 minutes of my time to write a very long post, but then I decided to say "f**k it" and not even post it for like 5 reasons.

Here's the length of the post http://prntscr.com/fwjn3x - I just took screenshot from the left side.

Anyway, wrong topic and I don't know if I'll be using it on my sites just yet, don't want to take all the ad money, it's better if other users start getting paid than me.

I'm using BTC.ms API in my faucet and i'm very happy because this shortner counting all views!
If you reach at least at 1.2$ will be amazing too! ;)

I used ouo.io shortner last week-end...they promise u 1.5$ cpm, but they really pay u 1/3 views! means 0.5$ cpm LOL  ;D ;D

It should be 1/1/1, but I'll edit this post after I finish unpacking stuff. (This must be it, if it's the default "safe" option from the script)

Issue with the CPM publishers see is not the real CPM, because of geo locations.
If you let people use general CPM for all locations, then it might be more fair for everyone, including us, publishers

ok , you are the owner = your rules :)

if i have shortener service, i am paying for every campaign paid by advertisers / 24h / IP  , i think it is more fair.. but as i told, it's your service = your rules ;)

Main issue is, idkwtf am I doing, lol. Never ran such thing and I haven't had much time to investigate/understand how it works. I know less than you do prob, so you'll have to have a lil bit patience until I figure out stuff.

I had a long trip today and I'll have to get into forming CPM for top 20-30 countries, until I can give concrete answers to most critical questions you've been asking in this topic.

What is the minimum withdrawal amount?
Should be 5 bucks

CPM for the last few days:

21-7-2017 $1.19
22-7-2017 $1.15
23-7-2017 $1.12
24-7-2017 $0.90
25-7-2017 $0.45

So, what's up with that?:)

On a .45 cpm, we get 18 for each sat visit so what do we pay our users for visiting that link? 10 sat? Who's gonna visit that link then? nobody..

I learned nodeJS in 1 month so I can work on my advertising network.
I've been coding like mad lately and I honestly didn't give a damn about this site, until I saw this (and the next ::) ) post

As I took the site, I left it that way, with the only exception to lower payouts a bit. With the math I did, it was pretty simple. 50% for pubs, 50% for me. I think it's quite fair, don't you think?
The only issue currently is that there's no advertisers. I'll take care of that, but not yet.

The ad network I'm working on is going to be invite-only. This site will become invite only as well, so the ones who truly have real traffic and concept on their sites can earn.

XND, same with me yesterday's CPM is 0.45$ i am just waiting when CPM will touch 0.01$ its great achivement for mexicantarget hahaha
leaving
hahaha, what a loser that mexicantarget guy is. Loser achievement unlocked!!!!!!
I am very exciting to see your ad network. Trusted
50-50 is not good idea it should atleast 75-25 so both publisher and you get satisfy,Alamin was paying around 2.00$ CPM( he was in  loss? no)
Mexicantarget is not a looser but this time he is just looking for himeslf, preety good.
Alamin was running 1 project, not 15. He had time to invest in his project, I don't have time to invest into observing right now, I need to work on this thing I'm working :)

Read my reply above, about lack of advertisers.

I can simply buy $50 worth of ads on the site every 2-3 days, but thing is, I own that traffic, so I can't/wont benefit from it.

I'll have a solution in 2-3 days.

Just checked the site.

I'm actually profiting by -50% right now from the site. :) It's not 50/50, it's 100% (all advertisers money go to publishers) + 50% of the money I've put into ads

I put $100 from my own pocket, just to see how CPM forms.
This site will turn into a invite only site in the future.

Hey guys,

after 20 minutes of digging this script, I found something interesting.

Admin backend doesn't reflect CPM changes in database, so that's why the CPM has been not so great.

I'm going to increase the CPM now.

Wasn't sure if publishers were trolling when they were telling me that CPM sucks big time, and now I know they weren't.
In the next hour I'll be working on TIER1 and TIER2 CPM formation, to make it more fair for all of us.

That's correct. It should be 1 IP per day.

I want to make it clear. I have a faucet where users claim payment every 60 minutes. If they claim 24 times a day on the btc.ms link, only claim 1 claim for me? Do I only get 01 claim in 24 hours instead of 24 claims?

For now unfortunately, yes.

But I plan to change that in the near future

Hey,

not sure what's up exactly, but it sounds like a browser issue.

Can you please try doing it from a new browser?

Tried from same browser and it worked today, not sure I'd be able to repeat the problem. It was strange because the link showed up in background but animation wouldn't disappear. Btw, do you really need so many details to withdraw, why would you need my phone number?

Hello, I am new on BTC.ms and I had some questions before really using this service.

1. Is it still 1 IP per day or has it changed?

2. If you use BTC.ms on different faucet, and it's 1 IP per 24h and the same person visits my different faucet, is that BTC.ms has only 1 visit or since it's on different faucet , many are counted? Because if only 1 visit is counted while the member visited different link, it would be unfair to me, because I would lose.

3. Is the visit calculation reliable? That is, all visits are counted?

Looking forward to your answers, I wish you an excellent day.

1) Still 1 IP.
2) If the user changes IP on every faucet he visits, it'll count a different IP.
3) You can find the info on your dashboard

OK thank you for your answer. But I still have trouble understanding one thing. If one takes for example that 1 member visits a faucet that uses BTC.ms, ip is to register. OK

But if all the faucets on faucethub use BTC.ms ... there is going to be a serious problem if you count that 1 x his visit on the set of faucets.

In this case, it would be fairer to the Faucet owners than the PI to be recorded 1 x per 24 but for the link in question and not for all other links.

I am sorry if I express myself badly, I have great difficulty writing in English.

I'll just add my $0.02...
The main reason why I chose not to use BTC.ms is because I want every click to count.

If at some point there is a change, and you decide to pay for every view, please post a big notice here.

IMHO there are two factors that really matter.
1. Publisher gets paid for every view using the shortened url.
2. Same payout rate for all views. (No matter where the visitor is from)

Yeah. I'm planning to remake the system and make it count every single view, but not yet. I have priorities and BTC.ms isn't a big one right now.
After I've finished the adnet, I'll work here and I'll promote BTC.ms through the network

I understand what people are asking for here: to get paid for every view or click. But think for a moment from the point of view of the advertisers. Would you want to pay for every view of your ad, even those who do many faucets and give you maybe 100 views in a day? Or would you want to pay once for each actual viewer?

Look at what the short link providers offer to the advertisers. Would you go for xx per unique view per day, or just per view, regardless of how many times that IP address viewed your ad? Which sounds like a better deal to you? It's not just about us, it's about what's fair for all parties in the trade.

If you want ad revenue you have to offer the advertiser something worthwhile. That's what fairness means. If you are bringing people who already saw the ad and didn't bite, the chances of biting now are lower. Those views are worth far less. Really not worth bothering with, unless he has an unlimited budget.

1. The publisher gets paid for every view using the shortened url.
This would be unattractive to the advertiser. The views that result in a sale are the only views he is interested in. The new viewers are far more important than the ones who already viewed and were not interested.

2. Same payout rate for all views. (No matter where the visitor is from)
Again, the publisher in most cases will not be interested in views from countries where the average wage is 10% that of the tier 1 countries. And if you're selling cloud mining you would be wise not to advertise to South-East Asia because on average they are way more intelligent than anyone else, except Ashkenazi Jews.

So there are market reasons why things are the way they are. Instead of cursing the darkness, light a candle, figure a way to be the first site that people want to visit when they get up. Or at least accept that you are entering into a trade with other people, who also have desires and are the ones doing the paying.

Middleman

The middleman has to find a balance between the desires of the publisher and those of the advertiser. If he gets it wrong he'll get neither. There are so many url shorteners out there right now, and those offering what seems to be a better deal for publishers are by definition offering a worse deal for advertisers. They won't last long. Worse, some of them only appear to be offering us a better deal, and in fact are not.

I think btc.ms strategy will attract publishers who have or hope to have worthwhile sites for advertisers to reach out from. It will be unattractive to those with no differentiation. Other sites may offer what you ask for, but how long will advertisers support a model that wastes their money? If you're selling shoes you need to know about shoes and why people buy them. If you're selling ad space you need to know about advertisers. Notions of entitlement don't help, they just hold us back.

yambub> There is a sneaky benefit that is often forgotten. The more exposure you have the more likely you are to remember a certain ad. So, once you are looking for a specific service or product, you are far more likely to go looking for the one that you've seen advertised about. So, repeated views of the same ad is the best way for an advertiser to get you to remember it's product. Name recognition...
You might not click the ad the first time but after seeing it 511 times, you might just be curious enough to see what all the fuzz is about.

Kema you're right. I think the ideal is a combination of low CPM plus extra when there is an actual click...  but I think running a shortener service, it would be hard to keep track of each click and where it came from, and award CPC as well as CPM - more work, more % needed. And we already have ads on our sites which can do the CPC thing anyway. I see shorteners as a small but guaranteed bonus.

Notwithstanding the benefits of multiple exposures, unique views are worth more to an advertiser. Making every site 'equal' might appear fair, but all it does is spread the cash more to those with heavy repeat traffic. Those who get a few visits a day will end up with less than those who get 50 a day from the same person. If you were an advertiser, which would you really prefer, 25 x 2 views from 25 different users, or 50 from the same one user?

Hello mexicantarget,

Now BTC.MS each link contained captcha. I think this is very unfortunate, because after the captcha my visitors drastically reduced. Most visitors want a simple one.
With events like this may be less BTC.MS visitors and reduced revenue.
In addition, another shortlink with captcha gives a very large rate of 5-15 $, while BTC.MS is only $ 1, this will make the user move to another shortlink.

I just give feedback, users and visitors prefer without captcha, visitors feel simple and user excited. With a rate of only $ 1 without captcha I think it will attract users join in BTC.MS and faster to grow larger.
Please consider. thank you

It may have just been a temporary glitch, mine is working fine. You could try it if you like, http://roflfaucet.com/ (http://roflfaucet.com/) (link is in the claim box, about half way down.) - if it works then yours should too. Try it again!
