Title: Problems with Win 7 / R9 270x - ETH Post by: itlbtu2 on July 17, 2017, 02:16:09 AM I am having problems setting up my trial rig. Here is my setup....
EVGA Z87-FTW MOBO 8GB RAM EVGA 750 Gold PSU R9 270X cards - currently using 2...but have 9 total if I ever get this setup to work... So, here is my situation, I have been attempting to use GETH having nothing but issues with the blockchain. I have tried for a week to download the blockchain using different commands ie --fast, --rpc ..... every time I get five or so minutes in to it, my computer reboots. It seems to be a GETH only issue. I have deleted the block chain files and tried starting fresh etc.... I then downloaded Ethereum Wallet, to attempt to avoid issues and no avail. I have updated drivers, downgraded drivers, tried Debian Squeeze distro's (epic fail due to Ethernet issues) and the best I have gotten to is a claymore setup using setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0 setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 EthDcrMiner64.exe -lidag 0 -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0x18ec1513078aa6b52b1409a05cf6b4f4820bebea -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:3252 -dwal Redhex.my -dpsw x with this I get the: GPU0/GPU1 - not enough GPU memory to place DAG OpenCL error -61 cannot allocate big buffer for DAG OpenCL error -38 cannot write buffer for DAG Am I just having issues with the block chain or is it a 2GB GPU issue that cannot be resolved? Thanks in advance for any help.......About to pull my hair out at this point...
