LTC rises while ETH drops or ..  ???

I think ETH is better. It has much bigger community.

Ethereum is better, litecoin is the lite one of bitcoin do not invest in

litcoin rise before so it can drop again to 30dollars   ......  but if bitcoin will rise eth rise too for sure

Depends on the the time frame. I think long term ETH will be worth much more than LTC. However, if your'e talking short term(like a week or 2), then I think LTC could climb higher in that short of a time frame. It all depends on how much you got to invest and how long you're willing to hold it for.

I see that litecoin rises/resists while bitcoin drops because of 1 aug fear.
Whenever Bitcoin rises LTC drops.

Opposite for ether; it rises and drops synchronising with bitcoin.

For long term, I would say ether. Litecoin price mostly depends on bitcoin speculation.

Yes litecoin is not one of bitcoin, actually both good to invest with ltc and eth. Eth is good to invest also you may serves it for long term. So buy now while you can afford to invest for sure you can earn profit.

For short-term investment: ETH, because it's being used by so many people and has potential to grow up. Of course LTC has potential too but it's not noticed yet, it will grow up slowlier than ETH.

In terms of experience Litecoin may have more experience than Ethereum, it is because Litecoin first existed than Ethereum. But although Ethereum is new than Litecoin, Ethereum has a better development. It is evident from higher coin grades and more widely used people, and also better fluctuations. So I think Ethereum is better used for investment than Litecoin.

LTC is more of a Long term Investment whereas ETH is a kind of Short Term Investment
Both of them are good in their roles though if you want to invest in ICO's then I would say go for ETH

Both are good and should be held. Litecoin has not had a big run-up yet so it may outperform
ETH in coming months.

Just take a look at how well Litecoin performs every time Bitcoin dips and compare that to Ethereum's performance in those situations.  Then if you remember that there is a possible fork in bitcoin occurring on August 1st, you might realize that you want something that performs well when bitcoin dumps.

ETH is best to buy.ETH has a bigger community.In my prediction it will be 500$ last of this year and LTC will be up to 70$..

Buy ethereum, it will be a good choice for you evertime rather than litecoin. Bitcoin will get the scaling solution that means use the litecoin to be the offchain transaction will be worthless in the future. Ethereum gives a lot of benefit with various development based on the dapps. I think you must understand about that dude.

ETC by far is better than both.

Eth is better , it shows a lot of potential and it has a lot of investors. I think this crypto currency can still go high in the future and it is worth investing. This is one of the best crypto currency that I have. So, maybe you should go for it too.

Okay, Honest Answer:

If you want to HODL, you have to consider long term.
Tezos ICO shall be considered.

LTC seems okay.

that's one of the thing which we can consider though ltc also have supports but the numbers of players who got engaged with eth are really getting better
so I think chances to have more progress and more profitable can be at eth by this time as we see more ico are using the system.

LTC is growing up because people are really believing oldest existing coin and also some new dev team like lee joined from Coinbase to LTC. Its all about speculation for LTC. Ethereum getting price increase because of its ability create smart contract . You can keep eye on Ehtereum and waves will do better in future.

There is not much innovation in LTC. Even the SegWit is a copy from BTC. People are not even using it.

i currently don't like either of these two coins.
ETH is getting dumped most of the times and then a sudden pump comes along out of nowhere. this means holding the coin is not wise because you lose 99% of the time and only win 1% and the win amount may not be enough to cover the losses.

LTC on the other hand is stable. the price has been above $41-$42 for a long time and it is staying there strongly. this makes it a better store of value but not for trading and making profit.

i prefer the hot coins of the day. they usually change every day so i won't bore you with names. but if i find any i make sure to invest and make the profit in that day.

For me both is good to buy . Ethereum and litecoin is have potential to increase in the future. So if you have a lot of ether and LTC you can earn a lot of profit in the future. So its better to buy this two coin now and hold it for fe wmonths or maybe few years and for sure you will be hapoy for the result. But it deoends to you whatcoin is better is either litecoin or is eitheir ethereum but for both is good .

ETH is the best option in long run as compared to LTC and ETH price will surely increases in a week or two so buy some ETH and enjoy the profit.

If your only two options are ETH and LTC, I think you should invest in ETH or Monero since Korean's are pumping it a lot, and it'll probably be worth a lot more in a few months.

LTC is a bad choice.

It will be a shame to compare ethereum and litecoin. Litecoin is just a clone of bitcoin. There has been no development for 4 years. Ethereum is the best coin no doubt. This whole crypto world, decentralized projects have been created with the help of ethereum.

I believe it is inappropriate to put it like this, because even though the idea of segwit must have occurred with relation to bitcoin, it was implemented in litecoin first. I think litecoin is a good long-term investment even if it doesn't offer innovations.
I think eth is too expensive now. Besides, it has an upcoming problem of an extreme need to switch to proof of stake. Thus, it is less risky to invest into ltc.

Both coin is a good investment but If you need to chose only one coin then Ethereum is a good for long term investment though the price of eth now is playing around in certain range. We have to wait for another improvement of eth and then price will skyrocket again.

eth has a great potential and it will be a bomb in coming 2 to 3 years. i think we will see its result at the end of this year. litecoin is good too but if you compare it with eth i don't think so it is relative for both of them. most of the people who are experienced in this field compare eth with bitcoin and they predict that it will leave bitcoin in near future.

You are right. The litecoin could not even compete with Bitcoin Cash let alone ETH.

But LTC is better as it now the most under value coin.

this topic was started back in July and by that time Litecoin was worth about $35 and now it is worth $57. meanwhile ETH is still struggling to keep the $300 up for weeks which it was nearly $400 by that time.

bitcoin cash is being pumped real nice these days, i give you that.

but none of these can compete with real good investments such as pump and dump altcoins. for example VTC was barely $1 1-2 months ago and now it is $5.3 and that is real investment not what is already pumped like ETH, LTC, BCH, and now VTC because it is already pumped.

Eth and LTC has different own purposes. Litecoin was created to surpass Bitcoin as the former is modelled as the same money platform for BTC. Its geared toward increased blockhain size and faster mining. About Ethereum, is a different story, computational platform and ether is the currency needed to make use of the processing power and memory possessed by the protocol.Ether can be used in so many functions and can be traded to other cryptocurrencies.

LTC is a wannabe BTC but the latter is hard to be dethroned. ETH is so promising as most ICOs today are based on it.

that is why investing in ETH is highly risky be cause its price is based on ICOs and we can see that many countries are already banning all kinds of ICOs and pretty soon people will get tired of them anyways and when there were no more ICO to keep the price of this coin up, the market may collapse hard.

I think LTC is really undervalued if we just look at BTC to LTC ratio, if btc is gold and ltc silver its a criminal that is so big difference in price. Also, check out speed and almost no goverance problems with ltc... I just dont understand why the price is so low for ltc...please explain me

I would definitely go for Ethereum, big following, lots of room for growth. It's also a coin I plan on holding long term, with the belief that it will continue to rise.

Both ethereum and litecoin good to invest and for sure if you have that you will earn a lot of profit in the future. So if you want to choose only one I suggest buy this two and hold it for fee year to make more money. This coins are potential coin many trader loves to buy and if you compared the price before and today it's totally big difference. Coinbase also add ethereum and litecoin wallet to their wallet and thats good sign.
