If you have a crypto-asset or crypto-currency and easily you want to know when its price will reach to your specific price(determined price by you) by sending a SMS to your phone(in this mode, the SMS service is required) or an Email to your email account(SMTP server) by the script, (for example, you want to know when BTC price from one or average of some exchanges reach to the determined price),   
If you trade in Localbitcoins(or other similar sites) and you want to have a bot or script that can add automatically your ads in Localbitcoins(or other similar sites) with considering some conditions, (For example: Minimum local price for selling, Maximum local price for buying ,... ) or other works,

Why you choose Python language?
I read about python.. but my choice is php+js or node.js

As the client side, in my view Python is better than PHP or JS due to GUI, is installed as default in many major GNU/Linux OSs , relatively shorter programming,
Also node.js is good, but more in multi platforms environments and server side, I think.

If you need a script that can tell you a quick/sudden price change for BTC/ETH/LTC in a given period of time, based on API of one exchange, for example approximately 10% in the range 5 minutes and also if you need a simple bot/script that can buy/sell BTC/ETH/LTC in a constant period of time from an exchange for example every 30 minutes, you can send me a PM.
