It would be nice, but from $2,500 to $500,000 in 3 years sounds a bit unrealistic. You wake up one morning and suddenly everyone who owned a Bitcoin is driving a Ferrari :) LOL

We sitting at $2100 and experiencing high volatility at present would not believe $500k prediction as it is definitely a ridiculously high price. But what I know is there is a surge in demand and it will multiply in future. People are hoarding Bitcoin and there are less in circulation. Halving will occur which will again cut the supply. These all events will multiply the price for sure. Many of the experts have predicted that we will 6 figure price of Bitcoin in 3 years. It might happen.

LOL. John MacAfee is somewhat a eccentric person and he has a lot of bold prediction when it comes to bitcoin. But for me $500K within 3 years in not realistic. He is just hyping bitcoin because for sure he has a lot of investment behind. But hey, anything that is news for bitcoin is considered good even coming from a guy like John MacAfee. Let's jus wait and see what's his next prediction maybe that will create another stir in the bitcoin market.

Quite difficult to predict bitcoin prices especially in the next 3 years, but $ 500,000 in the next 3 years ? This news sounds very crazy and seems difficult Looks like he is an eccentric person, and very few hope that he will be right with his words  :D

it actually isn't that unrealistic. it is hard not unreal. it won't happen overnight for you to wake up and see your super rich, it will take time and a lot of drops. and I assure you not that many will get rich. there will be a lot of newbies who sell at times like last week where there is a dumb FUD and they panic to sell at a big loss.

bitcoin has a very limited and small supply that is why it is called scarce. and as it gets more attention and is adopted more, the price rises. it is a very simple relationship between supply and demand. it is like the oldest rule for prices and how they are determined.

he's really crazy,i believe Bitcoin can fly to that level but only 3 years ?

i really doubt it,unless he might be know about what will happen in Segwit,Hardfork or he might be work on it.

so  he believed it'll success (or might be already success) which is will pump it hard and gain a lot of popularity.

at least,many people believe that Bitcoin will not die in the near future.

John McAfee is also the same guy who fled South America after living down there for years in the jungle with a sex harem. I think he had some troubles with the law over killing a man or something insane like that.. :P He has made bets before and I don't think he made good on them (obviously he's just hyping).

The whole South America story sounds very bogus to me. I like his youtube statement, where he explains, that three of his girls tried to kill him. We will probably never find out the truth, besides that the guy is quite entertaining lol

BTC will grow but to be honest, I am not dare enough to say that word,
I dont know whne it will hit that price,
but personally that I believe BTC will reach that point.

John was exaggerating things of course. Bitcoin will still see a much more huge market and price in the future but half a billion dollars in three years? Come on, that is exaggerated, intentionally.

John is not exaggerating anything at all. He has got an eye that can see the future of bitcoins. Bitcoins have absolutely got that potential. Reaching the value predicted by John won’t be anything out of the world. As we all know, bitcoins are going to pump so high after August 1st. Chinese are not crazy at all. Soon they are going to be the richest population of the world. They know very well about the amazing potential of bitcoins to rule the world.

Bitcoin when as higher as $2650 on http:// www.coinmarketcap.com today and I think people are buying in because of that comments and confident that the hardfork issue is not going to affect bitcoin significantly! Now is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold for the next three years.

Dude better put his penis-eating sneakers on, because there's probably only a tiny chance of bitcoin reaching that price in that timeframe.   But who knows.  We're again pushing up against the all time high,  and I've been wrong many times about crypto prices.   And I'd also love to be wrong here.

Seriously? Mcafee has serious balls if he means this bet and we probably will be seeing him eating his penis in three years however he plans to do that. I'm willing to wait that long to see btc go up that high but in that amount is way beyond realistic. Well a lot of people would be rich in case that happens and mcafee seems really sure about it but i think it's really closer to fantasy than reality
