Title: ETH Blockchain Sync WTF? Post by: BitcoinEXpress on July 20, 2017, 11:59:10 PM Forget the fact there are multiple forks and massive coin losses galore... What's going to kill the ETH network is lack of nodes due to the ridiculously bloated and slow syncing blocking chain. I've had a i7 6400K with 64GB of ram running on fiber trying to sync Geth for four plus days. It's only thing this machine is doing. Ive used the site before and its proven to be quite reliable for older/big blockchains. Also if you add --fast to your geth .bat file, it speeds up the sync alot. Title: Re: ETH Blockchain Sync WTF? It takes days to re sync. It's all these ETH ICO and ETH selloffs that are creating these nodes. Hopefully casper solves this problem.

I just hope competitive products take note of this issue and address it in their projects
