I think we shouldn't even worry about Aug 1 anymore?

There is no need to worry like the way we worried days ago when it was not yet clear if there would be a split or not. I think it has already become a forgone conclusion that network split can be avoided. There would be necessary technical changes come August 1 but a split may not already be a part of the menu. Of course, not unless something will crop up like a sort of a coup d'etat.

Why be afraid to buy bitcoin ,, because bitcoin will also give me feedback ,,,, hope i can quickly mine bitcoin and get the result of bitcoin...

Yeah, BIP91 locked and next time we just waiting SegWit2x active with not split network blockchain, because when BIP91 accept, BIP141 and BIP148 not need in August 1st. Don't care about split network in next time, buy at now and go to the moon haha

Yes, if you have much money on your bank account, or you have big asset to support your daily life.
Nevermind, at least if you can hold bitcoin for long term without worrying about your daily expenses, so you don't have to fear of August 1st or any bad news. Simply buy bitcoin at the dip and secure it on cold storage wallet, then wait for years.

Different reasons for traders and investors, they're looking for daily profits or big amount to cash out, wait for bitcoin price decline and they will buy back again, easy money if you have big bankroll.
That's why bitcoin price always fluctuate which encourage people to always sell whenever bad news occurs and price drop back a bit, weak hand and panic sellers.

Yes actually we do not have to worry on August 1st. All you have to do is save the bitcoin in the safe wallet, everything will be fine. If when the bitcoin price drops on a few days ago, then do to buy for sure will now get short-term profits. Simply buy the bitcoin and hold it, will definitely feel it goes to the moon :D

why we should worry for August 1st, if the price will down, so be it because its a good chance for us to buy bitcoin. if you really afraid then you need to make sure your bitcoin in the safe place and you don't save in the market. August 1st is come and i think we should prepare for what will happen and make yourself calm down, don't get panic for the most important.

For now the panic has ceases because of the BIP91 locked in,146 blocks until rejecting non-SegWit blocks. So its pretty much will be activated very soon. Although the price right now is very high for some to buy, it currently peg at $2800. The opportunity to buy is when the price is low a few days ago when it hover just above $1900. But if you guys have a lot of money to spare don't by all means buy bitcoin and accumulate more. For all we know, once Segwit is activated and the looming hard fork averted, the price of bitcoin can reach as high as $4000 very soon. It this happens, then you can still profit from buying with the current price instead of waiting till the price drop. Because if you do, then you have missed the opportunity to take profit if ever the price goes to the moon.

Yes, no need to worry or fear about the upcoming days. All that required is the trust over the network and the survival of the bitcoin, because several times bitcoin has been described as dead when the price crashes due to unexpected issues generated from developers, miners and whales. Bitcoin has faced it and bypassed those situations giving users promised growth. Based on that, its good to buy and get benefited.

I also subscribe that time for getting worried is over, and I dont think even the few days to August 1 will cause much effect as it did few days ago again. Also, it brings confidence because of the potential split which means I will have two versions of BTC and this is another reason why people are buying and those who sold are trying to get theirs back but unfortunately you need to part away with more money to acquire what you have lost.

This was to be expected. All the panic was only in order to buy bitcoins from those who are scared. I hope that after these tests the users crypto currency will be more resistant to panic news. This will strengthen bitcoin and in August we will see a price above $ 3,000.

I don't know why people are worrying on what's about to happen on August 1. We don't have to think about it as the weather is already good and calm so everything works perfect and locks in are good to go. No more chain split and there's no fear anymore for all of us, everything went back to business and good as usual.

They were voting on it and they say that voting is over and so the split will no longer happen on August 1, so everything were fine we just need to hope that it continues to get fine so the valies will keep on increasing and no more issues on splits ever again.

I completely agree with you. But what can we do when its about the money and the natural response of fear of loosing money starts popping up. Thing is august 1st will be completely in the favour of bitcoin segwit and there wont be any need to split the thing. So rest will be assured and bitcoin price will start rising up again. Im guessing the price to start moving towards $4000 and will give us breakthrough performance. If you ask me im ready to take the bullet of bitcoin fall but im completely in favour of bitcoin - traditional one.

There will be some dramas to come this August or September but we always know bitcoin is a long term investment that we should not be afraid. This is happening time after time, last year we had BU drama and still nothing happens.   

People like to exaggerate and make drama, spread panic. They often make conslusions without informing themselves and based on rumors. When it comes to Bitcoin this is usualy, especialy with unexperienced users. August 1 is another date people panic for and this is the main theme and seams that no one realy knows what they panic for.

Those who people who get worried this coming August 1, for me they are so ridiculous and easy to deceive by the humors and hearsay by anyone in this industry. Instead of believing in that non-sense  humors focus yourself to buy more of bitcoin then continue what you had started unto it which is bitcoin.

No, in last years the news create panic is ETF not accpept Bitcoin, but this news can't create panic strong. When January 2017, the price of Bitcoin crash from $1300 to $900 by some news talking about Bitcoin Core and Bitcoin Unlimit, it starting first dip in 2017 and make the user Bitcoin fear one time

I entirely agree with you we do not need to worry to buy bitcoins its never late to buy bitcoin.  We know it BIP91 accepted, BIP141 and BIP148 So now ne need to worry about 1st of  August Sooner it will more Boom Boom.

Yes sir we should not afraid about the issue in this coming August 1, maybe before when it is not clear. It is normal for Bitcoin to dump and after several days it will pump again, given the fact that it is not stable.

For years I've been a fun of rare materials and collectors item stuff and when I found out about btc I am so hype on working how to get it and of course these kinds of things and the potential that Bitcoin can bring can will reign in the coming years.


True. And I am one of those weak hands. I almost gave up all my btc but tried to hold because you gain nothing if you don't take any risks. In order to not panic I started to learn from advices and the internet itself because when you have the knowledge on what you're doing you won't give up that easy and when the BTC price is going up again I started to convert all my altcoins to btc because I'm feeling that something big is coming.

I don't really like to be too optimistic but yeah, I think the worst has passed. The price has pretty much recovered and now I see bitcoin featured in most money-related subscriptions I have online.

I think if you got the guts to get into something as volatile as bitcoin, I suppose you already know the risks and is willing to lose that money for the chance of a huge increase in value. Life is uncertain as they say, it's possible that something might suddenly happen and we lose all our investments.

Of course there will be a panic on the 1st of August. Indeed vigilant needs to be done. So as not to get a loss. A hard fork that will happen. Will certainly make the panic of bitcoin users. Of course the split that will occur makes bitcoin will be extra extra hard work. But I hope all will be fine. And will make things better. I have not been able to say what will happen. But I think we will know the answer after 1 August. And I think a hard fork is going on. Will make bitcoin better. It's just the process that freaks out the bitcoin users.

Yeah I agree with this because the bitcoin miners now have agree with the segwit and there's no splitting of the coin that will occur so that buying of bitcoin and investing into it is advisable now and after the segwit I am sure that the bitcoin will fly again to the moon!

Of course we should. Nobody knows what will happen. Anyone who says they know 100% for sure is lying, they don't know.

I really think we shouldn't worry about it,
If we want to buy some we just have to make it and deal what would happens next,
It is part of our life as an investor we just have to deal with it if the price would drop then let it drop there is nothing we can do about it,

I think those who have worried already sold their coins by the price under 2000$ and now regret. I don't worry, as micro earner I don't have big risks about bitcoin, but I don't plan to buy bitcoin as you recommend here  :) must be you don't know that not everybody here to have money to buy at least a half of bitcoin ;)

I think we don't need to be panic but still need to take precaution steps, the news is still confusing and some people still believe that Bitcoin is going to fork, that is why the price is very fluctuative in this few days and I predict that in this week the price will be very unstable

Right now, the Bitcoin market is having some corrections and the value retreated back to the $2,500 level. It is still not bad, though. Many people are now waiting for Bitcoin to go down further maybe even reaching as low as $2,000 so they van buy back the Bitcoin they sold or exchanged to other coins.

Bitcoin is a big opportunity much more if it is going down as profit can be assured once the track is back to growth. This has been the cycle for Bitcoin that is why many will not be surprised if there will be some volatility or even some turbulence...we should really be thankful if Bitcoin can go down. August 1 is just another for many of us and though it can be historical for the Bitcoin community we don't expect something dramatic to happen that day except for some technical changes and maybe there will be so much hypes for Bitcoin Cash which will soon be experiencing its first real crash.

In short time, BTC need decreasing the value because will have Bitcoin Cash fork from old Bitcoin in August 1st, and the value of BTC need split to 2 parts, depending user set value both. before BIP91 locked i was so worry about the chain split because it can makes my bitcoin disappear but indeed as the bitcoiners we should not worry about Segwit situations and anything else because bitcoin could survive but my regret decission is i don't dare to buy more several weeks ago because i thought the price will dropped everyday

I think you do not have to worry about what happened on the 1st of August. In this forum has been much discussed about what happened on the 1st of August and what we should do with our bitcoin so we do not lose the bitcoin we have. I am a beginner in bitcoin world actually i am also afraid of losing my bitcoin. So I did what this forum suggested. If you have money and you want to invest bitcoin .. you do not have to worry to do that. Enjoy the benefits of bitcoin now ..

yes i agree with you, don't worry about what happened on the 1st of August, everything will be fine and for me personally i follow what is suggested in this forum, but if you have more money do not hesitate to invest into bitcoin after segwit because i am sure bitcoin will last long and will have good price.

Bitcoin can recover in any issues, if we got panic and sell our coins,for sure we will regret that move since after that bitcoin value can goes high again. Bitcoin having a lot of users and supporters can easily adjuat on any developmentsthat can help in btc

There was a panic selling wave in the market a few days ago and the price went down, smart investors grabbed the opportunity and purchased bitcoins during the dips and since now the price is coming back to the normal, they are earning profits even in such short term. Personally, I believe that no one should worry about 1 Aug as nothing negative is going to happen on that day and hold their Bitcoins. This is my personal opinion and might be completely wrong, one should do his own research before taking any decision.

I sold at 2700 and bought again and I'd advice to sell again once we reach at 2800 and buy again.

Price won't remain steady at all. It will keep fluctuating even after several years but on a larger chart, the expected growth is very promising. One can buy in dips and sell when the price is back to the normal and other way is to hold it for the long term, in both the cases there is a profit in my opinion. (One should do his own research before taking any decision).

There should be no need to worry, if you are looking to get your share of the bitcoincash airdrop then all you need to do is have your coins in your own wallet that provides you with your private keys, bitcoin itself I don't think will take a big hit because of bitcoincash if anything it will just get stronger.

I think OP has very good experience in bitcoins.Its almost right.Bitcoin has survived many critical situations earlier like BU and now BCC.Even after the hard fork,it has performed very well and now its price is $2750.There would be lots of FUD about bitcoins.But we should not bother about such things and we should just turn a deaf ear to such things.

Buying bitcoins at lower price is always an smart choice to make as price will increase in future so if you buy now and wait for next few years then you will be making good money from the investments you have made in bitcoins.

Thank you for your earlier report and assurance for us to "buy bitcoins to make our life clear" As at today we have seen what you told us on 22 July 2017 and  some of us even sold when the price went as high as $2,950 on July 31, 2017. We should keep on holding our position for now.

As a trader and as an investor we would really do such thing. Well I think in current we can comeback the market and find altcoin still cheap price or waiting signal buying Bitcoin in next few days if have some correction price on market. In my opinion, the market in current has recovery the trend not neutral or only bearish as in July, we can try use technical analysic for prove that right!

August 1 is already done and successful if you are still worry about your bitcoin then you should  sell your bitcoin but for me if you are in a good mode then you should learn on how you can earn more bitcoin from trading and other activities like you are doing it in a good way don't think about gambling it self it won't help us. There is no more fears about the possible fork as there is no fork that happened, though I don't think you can consider Bitcoin cash as a fork though. You are absolutely correct and we should hold on to our bitcoins. September might be a good month for those who hold bitcoin and might try to reach a new ath or try to reach a new one by then. If you have the capital and ammo to buy bitcoins then it is still a good time to buy one.

Still their is time to check the fork performance as it will need atleast 7 days to see that the chain is stable and their is not any split. But then also Bitcoin is always good choice

I can't agree you because bitcoin price changes very often and if suddenly we need money, there is a chanse that price will be lower than it was when we bought. From current situation it seems we can profit even if we buy it on lower price but imagine, when price was 1000$ (years ago) and someone bought it. Then prise decreased and it was needed more than 6 year to get profit.

I agree, when bitcoin became popular and accepted by some countries, the age of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology had started.  Those who jump in its early stage and take advantage of every opportunity will definitely benefits a lot.  Aside from that, it was proven that there is nothing to worry  on the updates since it finished in a smooth transition, though there is a fork, it gives an additional bonus of some percentage to those who eagerly waits and hold their BTC.

There is surely nothing to fear but the only issue I'm facing is to afford one bitcoin , now if you 1 bitcoin is 3000$ and that is not a small amount to make profit also you need bitcoin but owing one is really hard these days. I was checking the economy news and saw india is the best performing currency in aisa i did a bit more research and found out if someone has 1 bitcoin he will have 2 lakh rupes not sure if i wrote it correct and an normal engineer earns 70k per month. Is this the future we thinking about Bitcoin? How could we imagine to trade (send/receive) or use it for payment purpose when spending $5< in fees!! Bitcoin fees seem to be never stopping rally. i think even you cant afford to buy bitcoin just participate every activities here in forum to gain some profit.   No doubts indeed theres a chance that we can invest through our salary from any different campaigns. Yes we don't need to worry about SegWit or even hardforks and instead of fear we should be happy about it because we can have free coins or have an upgrade on Bitcoin system like transaction fees may decrease. If we are afraid to invest then we are in fear of becoming successful individuals or even rich too. I think most of the people fear especially when it comes to investment. Because there is money that you are going to invest. Just like bitcoin, when they hear it for the first time then ask how they can earn with it. Then you tell them by just investing or buying bitcoins and holding it and wait for the price to goes up. I doubt they will join because fear is there but sometimes if we do not take the risk. We won't succeed or we won't know the result unless we try.

For sure if you bought bitcoin and until now you hold it you can earn a lot of profit or your money become double. Because as of now the price of bitcoin is 7k dollars.  But we don't that is happen today the price of bitcoin will reach that price. I agree with you fear is one of the reason why some don't want to take risk to invest in bitcoin. They are afraid to lose their money when the price goes down.
