Title: Is mprep account hacked?
Post by: pianist on July 26, 2017, 06:22:47 AM
What's wrong with ALL bounty threads on forum?

Just saw that our thread was banned:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1946055.240

But we do not violate any rules! Then I saw ~100 threads banned, and it looks like today rules were changed or mprep account is hacked.

That is very much not allowed (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434310.0). The threads are trashed, the poster is banned for 60 days, everyone who participated is banned for 3 days, and everyone who participated cannot display a signature for 30 days.

I think because of that and then mprep clears everything.

The main reason he banned threads today coz they were asking bounty hunters to post in the main thread of the project which is against the rule.

He follow just rules. There is some who are abusing forum so much by give 10k satoshi per day to posting on ann 10 times a day.
It's clearly sign of spamming so he did correct thing.

Not all its only those threads with abusing spammy incentives giveaways that been said by MRep .
Facebook and twitter post doesn't matter if a bounty thread don't follow the rules .And its not normal however it is the rules so he have the right to delete and lock the threads .Hope you understand if not read the pin posts.

No, it's a wise move, because bounty managers make crazy terms, like sylon. He gives 50 post terms in 1 week (45 other 5 main thread), mprep wants the bounty manager not to make a requirement to post in the main thread, in fact it's all because of sylon. Sylon wants to bring up spammers, and mprep does not want to see spam post

Spamming isn't good for healthy forum. I think what the moderators do make us better. Let's see if there are any breaking rules from campaign managers. I hope the action would be fair. For all members to legendary who break the rules.

50 posts / week ? I don't believe that. From what I know he usually asks for 12-20 posts / week. So you say that, Sylon was "the main problem"?  Please show me one bounty campaign managed by him, where he asked for 50 posts/week. Maybe I missed something.

MPREP account is fine. Your thread got locked because you broke the rules.

What did you not understand from his post on your thread?

Quote
ATTENTION: Due to the bounty incentivising posting on the ANN thread (which is an on-forum altcoin giveaway in any and all definitions), this thread is locked. There is zero tolerance for those blatantly breaking the "no on-forum altcoin giveaways" rule.

But we do not violate any rules! Then I saw ~100 threads banned, and it looks like today rules were changed or mprep account is hacked.
No rules were changed. Make sure to read all of them before making those claims.

From 2014: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434310.0

Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread.
