What you will do if that thing will happen someday??

I think i will panic..   I don't  know what to do if that thing will happen...  All my efforts will be ruined and gone in just a single snap of finger. Oh come on,  i hope that will not happen and not will happen forever in btc world...

It is not possible, you should research how cryptocurrencies work, it is about electricity and internet.

If all the coins disappear it will be the end of Internet and energy. Is far as this too remain we would not have problems with bitcoin except little activities of hackers and some hardfork issue in future. To me I see it impossible for such things to happen.

All coins including bitcoin? that would mean the shutdown of the internet and we'll have to go back to writing postcards, letters and reading books.

May be some coins disappear in future, as many coins disappear in last 2 years but new coins comes and fill their space. Those coins, which have some fundamentals and real projects, will never disappear.

I will only say...  Nohhhh!!  This is my other way to get income and use it for my daily expenses so i hope it will not happen someday,  and all through days..

For now it is impossible to happen. If it were to happen though, I will be sad and lonely after all, I have some money invested onto here. Also, I would have insomnia I think if this were to happen, lock up in my room for days and then move on. After that. I will begin to look for other opportunities to earn money online again or somewhere to invest into online.

I will back on time before the Bitcoin genesis block. Then I will buy shares of company after the crash of 2008 and make a good profit without thinking about tokens and cryptocurrencies ;)

I think I have to accept it really happen, in the first place I know that I am taking a big risk by investing in the crypto

There are many things we can live, no one knows about the future. We can only plan. Crypto world might disappear if there is no electricity and internet.

Yes it would have a great impact to me right now the fact that some of my income is from coins. I would going to panic because i dont know where can i found it again in my life. I think this would not be happen and im hoping for it cause this will make us all sad and hopeless.

If that happens the cryptocurrency industrial revolution will fail and the whole world will collapse and fall into a global crisis, it will happen if the internet disappears and we fall into panic.

Coins are as good as cash. Coins value will even increase and will be more in demand in the near future. Coins will be a vital possession in the future. If there are no more coins,cashless society in the future could be impossible

That is not possible highly but even then if that is happening then who ever is totally depended on the Cryptocurrency earning will be facing trouble for some time and then they will start their life like regular what they were doing.

Presumably, if they all disappeared, it would be because there was not a single person left (in the world!) who wanted to maintain any of the systems, at which point nobody would really care...

The truth is thinking that all of coin will be gone on a one time basis is quite impossible to happen because the system is support by many people who used crypto-currency on a form of transaction in a daily basis. Could be better if we just continue or support for the Bitcoin for it to develop more in become universal currency in the future. Hence we would still need to continue our support to make it happen as a reality in the future.

What you are telling is true, that it cannot happen in one go, but even if that happens, it will only affect the persons who are having holded the coins for long as investment and hope of getting higher returns.

If coins disappear I think in that time I have invested and I stored some bitcoin,altcoins and other coins.I will use them and use normal money to have my income.But I think these coins will not disappear easily because of its status today.

The only way every coin is going to suddenly disappear is if there is some kind of catastrophic event that knocks out the worlds computers and electricity on a massive scale.

In that event, I think the loss of some digital coins will be the least of our worries.



 

It would be the cryptopocolyps if that happened......but it wont.
People will panic and there will be a huge sell off which gives you a great chance to buy coins super cheap.
When there's blood in the streets everything is on sale.

Although this might be impossible to happen but who knows this world was full of surprises in every single day, if this gonna happen one day and all my bitcoins/altcoins was gone its very unacceptable for us, I think it will only happen if some big global tragedy or calamity will came that will affect whole universe or maybe some big war that will destroy internet infrastructure.  

I hope that thing will never happen, i have been focusing on making more coins and on holding my coins waiting for their pumps and if such thing will happen , It will be hard for me to recover maybe financially. But since it's quite impossible that tragedy to happen. I will continue my faith and plan on it. Technology were developing it will be hard to destroy it.

If such event happen,many businesses might falls too and even those individual might lose all their wealth since they already believe that btc can do it all to make their coins safe.

Normally I will get disappointed. I don't have much coins, but I used to entertain myself by playing online poker and slots with bitcoins. Add to that bitcoin is good underworking in financial sense to me. So, I will have to find something new to myself.

You wouldn't be asking such questions if you actually knew how bitcoins and other crypto currency works. Coins don't disappear all of a sudden. Will never happen unless "your" coins get hacked and loose it all.

If all coins disappear, I think I will be sad. If will do all my best to earn cryptocurrency today, maybe my life will fall apart when it disappeared. I will start a new life that will not depend on the cryptocurrency. I will work that will earn a solid real money. I will not trust digital moneys. If I will have a crytocurrency I will convert it already to a real money.

That's impossible , First Altcoins is not manageable by 1 Person only so if you asking if all coins dissaperar you need to close all the exchanger. Shot down all internet I  the world or talk to the developer forced to close for doing that is so very hard. So you know what is the reason why coins will be not disappeared.

I think it could happen if the government forbids the circulation of cryptocoin, and if that happens all cryptocoin will be withdrawn, it may take a long time but surely, and it will make a great mess

I think if all coins disappear someday, it will be normal for all people to work in their respectively society, almost all people who are currently using it will miss the easy way of getting profit without face to face communication with other persons, because they don't want this.

People starts focusing on something else that fills the place of the cryptocurrency. In specific it won't happen in a short or long, because people prioritize it than any other way of profiting just because of the way it supports people in make living better after using it.

If that happens then surely there will be a new industry more modern than Cryptocurrency, this can happen in the future and it is definitely the third industrial revolution and we have to adapt to the background that industry

I think that won't happen anyway. Because nowadays many of the altcoin are being entertained by the bitcoin/crypto community.

It is only the thinking that can gibe fear to newbie , but if possible then it can happen only by hacking or any type of attack on the exchange .
Here if you can see at the history of thr ETH coin theft from many big big high secure exchange then you will find that a big amount of the money was threatened away from the thief attacker on exchange .
And i think no one was able to do anything with such types of problems because this is virtual currency and we can't trace footprint of any person ( whether is scammer or legut earner ).
(But that was the heart of the ETH coin owner who gave the componsation of the loss of eth coin at tue exchange  , a really big heart person And i can't forget that time ) .

If all coins will disappear then a lot of people will be mad because almost all the people putted a lot of money in cryptocurrencies so if all of those coins will disappear without having a valid explanation then all people here and in the other part of the world will do all of their best to find the person who are in charged of that kind of scenario.

If that thing happened that there wont be any online transaction, trading and online payments .. Other than that there will be no jobs for people who works online . Those who use coins for their beneficial needs are going bankrupt. It will cause social media panic and reports if all the coins disappear.

I was ready on that situation, because I can't give up my work and my business. Bitcoin is my part time job only, I can't use all of my time on this. My priority always is my real job, family and some business I made. But that things was not happen because if you can see bitcoin now was stable.

It is possible to happen since a technology will always be replaced by a new and advanced technology. So if ever these cryptocurrencies died all of a sudden, I'll move to fiat, again, or whatever is there. If that scenario is inevitable then we have no choice but to deal with it. We should cut the crap and live on. Whining will not bring them back so what's the point?

I believe while answering the question we should not think of it as of a real possible problem but rather as of a thought experiment. If we don't add additional info to what we have, it is just a normal day with no nuclear war or something like that. You wake up, turn on your laptop and find out in the Internet that the coins are gone. You can't believe your eyes and so you quickly enter your wallet. You see no coins there. As if they've never been there. I think that overall cryptocurrency community is about 20 million people. The overall population of the potentially civilized world is about 5 billion people.  So, at best, of one 250 people will wake up and become highly depressed and covered in panic. It will surely be on the news in countries like USA, Canada, Russia, China but it is not likely to affect a significant amount of people. The economy is likely to suffer, though, for it will be around 95 billion dollars lost.

i definitely agree. There's no nothing to worry when that time comes. We've already strive for a living before those things existed. Maybe we'll do it again but the way it used to be. We must not be over dependent to those things because they're too unstable. And also those things have have certainty of income or profit because of its instability. It will only cause disappointment to those expecting too much from them.

I think most of the people invested their extra money on these coins. So if it will not affect much if all coins disappear. And one more thing no coin will disappear suddenly we will get a chance to convert those coins into fiat currency. So worry about investment. Max to max what will happen we will get some loss right. It is common we knew everything and invested on these coins, so we need to accept what ever we get in the end.

I do not think that will happen in the future but if it does, all we have to do is to deal with it. I believe that a better one will exists when these coins go extinct, right? everything should be disappearing when all coins bigin to disappear because only by shutting down the Internet can you make everycoin disappears. When this things happens, I would have so many other problems in real life to solve, maybe I can't notice about that.

It is impossible the all coins disappear, The coin always increases and different holder because they waiting the coins pump up. But now altcoins was always develop into a different name and a different holder. So that many traders hold it and trade into a different altcoins and then trade to bitcoin to cash. I know the altcoins will not going disappear.

If all coins disappear then lot of crypto investor would lose money lol..But don't need to bother since crypto would continue as long as there is internet and computers for manufacturing them..lol

If all altcoins disappear I think I need to find new job. Because for now I was full time work in bitcoin and altcoins trading. I do it because I earn much income than to my previous work. In my past work my boss was so strict not like in bitcoin and altcoins my time was on my own hand.

I think it's impossible for coins, all of them to disappear. I think it will never ever happen. But if it does all of the people who has already invested on to it will loose. I will feel sad for them because that is so devasdating. And all the benefits it offers will be lost. And also if it does happen people may find other investments to invest to and find other online offered services. For all the coins to disappear is quite impossible. Maybe some coins will be gone but not all of it at once. However, if this will happen, i guess everybody in the cryptoworld and the businesses attached to this world will totally collapse.

I don't know what to do if all the coins will disappear without a reason. What if I hold coins then expert says that the coins will diminish after a week? I will convert my money into fiat cash to build my own business. They will notify us when the coins disappear in our life. I hope they will create a new one to replace all the coins.

If all altcoin disappears then i no longer have income online .. everyone will lose their online job .. world crytocoin will not exist. Me and if it happens then I have to find another job to earn money .. while my income comes from crytocoin world .. but my pikor is not going to happen because cryto world more favored by people. It is not possible. I think in the future, many altcoins may come to trading and then disappear with shorter times. Also, some of the coins can be the king like bitcoin. That can happen. Many reasons behind that. First, day by day technology is getting improved, electricity is available everywhere and it will be cheap in future. Also internet become more fast and cheap. Second, people will need more money for their needs in the future than today. So people tend to earn money by investing in coins as an additional income. Then how can we imagine coins will disappear?

its that true ? I think they have prepared a mature step for the future. and security that makes investors believe. you are too much in my opinion. What if we are missing instead of allcoin? Who will receive our coins, after we die, or our bitcoin will disappear without any owner?

If all alternate coins and bitcoin would this disappear someday, before that dooms day to happen ill prepare myself to pull out all my investment ill exchange it all to fiat so that all my efforts will not be wasted in vain and after that ill become sad for the meantime because cryptocurrency helps me so much.

Actually it would just have to be one big solar flair (there is one every 100 years or so) and most of the electricity would disappear from the earth for a while. I guess cryptos would be gone then. By the way, the last big solar flair happened 100 years ago or so...

Well I'll just continue my normal life and start investing in stock exchange. But I guess that would be impossible most specially in bitcoin not unless it has been prohibited in the country that you belong in.

Everyone will panic and it will be chaos because people put there money in those coin to gain profit and then they will just lose it but I think it won't happen  there might be some coins that will be worthless but not everything.

If all coins disappear then we would say good bye to our precious coins and their precious worth. But would that actually happen in the future? I don't think so. One by one, possibly in the far future but all at once, nah, never will it happen.

Blockchain is a very safe technology for now. But ofcourse it doesnt mean that your wallets are totally in safe and can not be reached. We can say that it is very hard for todays hardwares.

Thats a very big problem,even though cryptocurrency is not known by many these coins still guide and help the financial capabilities of people or companies that uses cryptocurrencies.And also the countries that are having a money basis in cryptocurremcies,they will face a big problem.Other countries use bitcoin because they might get money and also cryptocurrencies are the ones that help us to get up from poverty.But I think it wont happen in just a single or a short period of time as of now,because crypto is getting better and effective now adays.

Our opportunities on making money would lost too and new innovation on payment system would be lost too. Such a thing will happen only if there is no power, electricity and the internet. Which i believe is impossible, but if it eventually happen life go continue because I have other source of income and not just bitcoin or crypto currency alone.

I don't see it happening ever  honestly but let's assume they are gone it's probably because of a some kind of war including nuclears that takes down the internet connection completely.

Its not necessary to have a war to make those coins disappear. We do just assume that there would be no blockchains or hashes/codes on which coins are made of. Internet is really the main thing for us to make a new coin and if they do disappear then most likely internet would be the root cause for it to completely shutdown.

I think this will never happen. Internet, Electricity and power are depending on this. What will happen to us if this, what you said will come true. Coins will take years and will reign. It gives us a lot of benefits so it will not disappear. But if ever it will come true. Things will go back to basic. Paper moneys, and it is not convenient for people cause with the help of coins we can you use it to buy, trade and invest in much easier way.

Although I think this is farm from happening, all your time acquiring knowledge about crypto will be wasted and my early retirement plan will be cancelled but no matter what happened I just need to move on. Be happy it happened ;)

Digital coins can disappear only if the Internet disappears. I hope that this will never happen, otherwise we will get much back in our development. Individual coins can really disappear and disappear as a result of the lack of proper technical support and support from the community. This is a normal process and there is no need to panic. In their place come new coins and more perfect ones.

And what if authorities of big countries decide to ban crypto ?

Imagine if mining, exchanging and holding them making you a criminal. A lot of people will decide to sell before the ban in their country making the price of the crypto drop. Also, less people will dare to use them and the user base could shrink a lot, making them useless.

If this is happen a big war against all of devs manager or all who operates the coins project but i think this is not gonna happen that all of the coins and tokens even devs they are also investing there money for there projects so they dont want just to dump there own money

In that scenario i think that bitcoin will suffer a very loss in its price. It can drasticaly drop more than a 50% if all altcoins dissapear.
If you mean, if ALL cryptos dissapear, then i dont think that it would change the world, the only thing that can happen is that all people who were holding large amounts of bitcoin are now poors, that is the only thing that can happen, since there are no goverments investing in cryptos, only in ripple, but only a few banks, no more.

How is this even possible? The only scenario I can imagine is if there is a nuclear holocaust or something makes the internet stop. Hypothetical though, it will cause panic among folks that have all their funds in crypto. If that should happen, crypto investments and holdings will be the least of our worries.

Well, not all but mostly all would. Except the ones with good use cases backed by a proven business model. You can't run a business without a business model. Can you? And besides, raising millions from ICOs isn't a business model as most ICO startups think.

I can't imagine. There could be chaos. Bitcoin itself is making a noise so what more if all coins disappear. Everything will be manual again back to paper bills. People need to work harder again.

to begin with, where coins market money come from? Gold? Stock market?

If all the coins would disappear, it would feel like the end of the world for us. How can we convert it to our own money if all coins would be gone? Good for those who always convert their coins or took profit or the capital already because they wouldn't worry as much as those who hold their coins and kept it for so long.

When that happen in which I hope never does a big part of me will also disappear. Like I'm used to doing bitcoin in my everyday life and it helps me also a lot of people to earn income to be able to pay bills. It is like we need to start all over again in order to gain back what we have lost.

I agree on that, internet is the main reason why our coins still present in the wallet sites and those trading markets which we deposited our coins. I ever the server was shut down due to internet connectivity network problems the entire system will have failure to communicate to the system of blockchain network. That's true bigger loses which could probably be happening and our coins will become useless that's why we really needed to have a good internet service which mainly served by the worldwide service that working globally with the worldwide network, in order to have strong network support.

I wouldn't be bothered as long as BTC will remain. I'm not a fan of altcoins but I hold some just for extra earnings.

As long as the Internet exists, digital coins will not disappear any more. It is already impossible. They have firmly entered our life and their significance for people is only expanding and increasing. There are no prerequisites for them to disappear.

If altcoin disappear someday, i will start panicking and feel so depressed because i look like a lost in a gambling game and i look like a lost a big prize of money. But in my own opinion altcoin will still stay until bitcoin is still alive because they have a big connection in each other so no need to panic.

If all coins will disappear then that's the end of all hopes of everyone when all of us dream to end our poverty. It's difficult to start life again without the digitized money. Though there are any sites like networking which gives an extra income but that's not really profitable than earning coins through bitcoin's outcome. Like me, I hope that one day I could have my own lot area because it's really hard to earn money in my place despite the competition of job application. I almost lose hope when bitcoin didn't exist but because it came to my life, I find a new companion in achieving y dreams in life.

I also expect for a great reward for myself if I continue using altcoins but for now I don't have any idea if it will disappear someday for I became more patient in earning coins because I want my life better someday. I also think that it is impossible for all coins to disappear in terms on trading or investments. Because every coin there is an allotted project where there are people who invested on that specific coin. So when there is an invested funds on it there is still a possibility for it to develop so it is hard to think that a coin could disappear one day. It can not be that all digital coins suddenly disappear. They can be stopped access only if for some reason the Internet is lost. Then, of course, you will return to the "Stone Age" when there was no high technology. However, let's hope that this does not happen. Individual coins can disappear and disappear due to lack of technical support and demand, when they cease to be necessary. This is a natural process and new, more technically advanced ones come to their place. Life goes on.

I dont think all coins will disappear, but if you look at all the coins that exist, many don't have real value and will eventually fade out.

Not today, not tomorrow, but in about 3 years iam sure many coins will be dead, why?Because they don´t have anything rather than pumped air Xaurum is coin backed by gold, it could not disappear, there will always be more gold behind all xaurums and on long term holders will be winners for sure.

I guess the main question would be why they disappeared and how quickly it happened. If they were just magically not be there, then there would probably be a major upheaval of the entire cryptocurrency world. I'm going to assume that all of the exchanges have at least 50% of their liquid coins in something besides Bitcoin although I could be wrong.

So each of those exchanges lost something like half of their equity, in addition to that all of these users that have coins outside of Bitcoin just lost. I guess it's the same as asking what would happen if you took away 50% of the stock markets assets. Pretty much fun of those things it would be impossible to predict.

All coins disappeared in an instant or short period of time is really impossible thing to happen specially on cryptocurrency considering the marketcap is already building up and vanishing in an instant is really impossible. It might be gone but it would takes time for sure but seeing on the interest of people and investors we can really assume that this thing wont really happen.

All coins can not disappear. If that thing happen, I think it is going to be hard to gain more profit in another ways. Thise people who are depending on it will probably gonna jave a hard time. A lot of people are hoping for it. If that disappeared I will lose all my profit, and not only me but also me but all of those people who hold their altcoins for a long while. It's possible. Let's say North Korea launched a nuclear missile in any part of the world (Definitely they would attack the USA first). A lot of countries would be highly affected by the damage that caused by the attack. Most likely it would be a total blackout not only to those who are affected but worldwide. Definitely, internet and electricity would be cut off due to limited sources of it due to damage of it. (This is just a conspiracy theory, That is most likely to happen if Trump and Kim haven't reached an agreement to prevent a nuclear war.)

Probably a lot of people who invested almost all their money in this industry would definitely suffer. Along with it, this type scenario is out of each in anyone's control. I dont think it will merely going to happen, but to answer it well if will be hard and impossible to happen unless a internet shutdown necause in every coins there is a different uses different peoples and developer so if it happens not all will be going to disappeared. If some coin disapper it will only one result, a big crash in the market even in the bitcoins.

you cant do anything. that mean you got hacked and someone steal all you had. All you can do is take proper security actions. And if are not possible, dont keep all coins on same spot. Remember we are still early adopters. Same as Gold miners on Wild west. They could find plenty of gold but they could easily be shoot and their gold stolen if not careful enough. This things will change in upcoming years. Crypto will bring a lot to internet security in the upcoming years.

I also disagree that it will happen so suddenly. It might start with few coins getting disappeared but the process would be really slow. Nothing will shut so fast. We will have time to get the money back, at least the amount which we invested in it.

What do you mean disappear? Disappear like due to some bug or hack, and you just lost your coins? I don't think that will happen, at least if you have your seeds and private keys of wallets and address, and specially if you hold a hardware wallet, which you should if you have a lot of bitcoins.
If you hold them on exchanges etc, then yest they could disappear, and you could only blame yourself.

I will just cross my fingers and hope for the best to come very soon. That is I think beyond our control anymore. That is a very big trouble not just to us here in the forum but more so to the projects using these coins to function. But I think this will not happen.

For my opinion,it cannot really disappear in spite of many coins that appear in the crypto world,the coins will not disappear.These coins are getting famous and known in the world,that's why people are using coins,but if that happens it is a very big trouble and  problem.But that might not happen in the status of the coins right now.

Many digital currencies will die, but some reputed currencies will not like Bitcoin, ETH, LTC etc. billions of money invested on these currencies if it dies means that's it everyone will come to the road. And many big investors are involved in these currencies they will not let these currencies to die.

The cryptocurrency does not means digital currencies, you are wrong! If you want to call Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, etc ... are digital currencies, these coins can taxes by the government and be legal.

This situation would never be impossible unless the whole world decides to ban the internet and if that ever happened, their would be a lot of madness in the world.  Once something becomes a part of your lifestyle, it's very hard to give it up. 

Well if that happens there will be bitcoins you can use it in a daily basis when the time comes that all altcoins are gone bitcoin by that time is a mainstream currency, i guess. But if refuse to use bitcoin you can go back in working for a regular job without having holidays, always tired, not be able to do whatever you want, ditching your friends to hang out and at the end of the day you'll get paid low.

Simple. Most of us who've invested a lot, both time and money in btc and altcoins, would all end up screwed and broke. I personally would have to or be forced to find a day job if that happens and then pay taxes, mingle with unwanted people and all those things i don't want to encounter in a day job.

Coins will disappear only if people have access to private keys and remove the coins. Or if all the computers in the world that contain the blockchain data are broken. I think the more likely scenario is the first one. But if the all coins are gone, then just create another one. Since we know how to.

if all coins disappear, this is a pretty startling question for everyone who does activities on crypto. of course this is a very disadvantage for all coin owners and people who have long invested dibitcoin. yes at least what I will do is switch profession all business activities that I do from trading or investment in crypto make all business activities in this real world even though I think it should start again from scratch because of course the coin that should be able to be used for business capital can not be used again because everything is gone. I hope this will never happen and maybe this is something we need to think from now because if this is really happening there must be a diversion of a business activity that we have prepared before.
