Are we witnessing the birth of the new MEDIA which are absolutely decentralized and free of any government control?

The community around this coin is really huge this fact has convinced even me ( I've actively criticized the devs in the past) to buy and hold some - it can blow up.

There almost  10 000 people at the Slack

Heard about this project before. So, any new developments? I'm curious, can I access it without having to register, you know, like when you watch Youtube without signing in.

Also, are their tokens already trading in exchanges?

I haven't made an account yet. How do they pay their creators BTW.

Despite not checking the site yet, I remember buying around 100 LBC. Well, I hope it takes off.

How is bandwidth managed with this new thing? I assume peer to peer which would be good.

Currently Google / Youtube is free since they're in a good position on the Internet and don't have to pay many bandwidth fees. You pay the cost to connect to Youtube on your monthly Internet bill, since smaller pays bigger and Youtube is with the big networks. Netflix is like 30% of US Internet traffic now and Comcast forced them to pay to send data on to their network. The dishonest Internet neutrality people (backed by Google) who are actually trying to centralize the Internet were upset about this.

Yes, of course they already have a working application, which is constantly being improved and the errors are eliminated. But the application is completely working. I'm already using it since April. In occasion of an exchange: polo, bittrex, and still what that exchanges, including Korean even are.

Yes, I love LBRY!

It has an active community, lots of content publishers and unlike most other crypto projects, LBRY has working software! (it is in beta, but has come a pretty long way)
