Title: Bitcoin Cash market value on last hours on 31st July?
Post by: very_452001 on July 30, 2017, 04:35:25 PM
Currently it is at $350:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

I know on august 1st price will crash to maybe $0

However on the last hours of 31st July before the hard fork what will be the estimated value?

no dumb ass!
who's opening the market on 31 july ? even from what i heard, there's a possibilities BCC won't exist.
and now you said someone or exchanger already opened their pair BCC/Fiat ?
who's gonna sell it and who's gonna buy it when the chain not splitted yet ?
and based on economy analysis BCC price should be around 400~500

I do not support bitcoincash, looks like dirt sticking to bitcoin that affects the current bitcoin price
some surveys done on twitter include when they get bitcoincash  :D they will sell up to have no value such as BTU

Bitcoincash will just be a nice little Airdrop - Ill hold it and see if it retains any real value, if not, nothing lost.

Just make sure your holding offline, or in a wallet that supports both of the forks.

So you saying the hard fork won't happen on aug 1st for bcc not to exist?
The coin has not split yet i know im talking about future values listed here:

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin-cash/

Ok you think no more than $500 today but come tomorrow dump it will be worth possible $0?

Im talking about this because speculators are saying 1btc will equal to 1btc and 1bcc price combined value.

Very weird coin. The people will sell it inmediatelly. As the guys are saying, probably the price can reach zero in a little time  ;D Letīs wait to see that this week..

At that point...people will sell it in a rush to get profit...

If you wait a few weeks/months/years, it could lead to somewhere else.

Since everyone will sell, or sell after a pump, it is better that you keep those for long terms...Who knows.

Anyway, youll get them for free no ?

------------

If.... We get Bitcoin Cash.... But I highly not recommend that another ''ico'' scam among all the others.

A lot of people want free money. Just send it to the exchange site and dump it for free money. I just know that we only have the real bitcoin. There is no place for the forked coin to take the bitcoin's place instantly. This case is really different with eth split.

It seems most traders want to cash their Bitcoin Cash once they get it. May cause a
big dump in price in the first 1-2 days itself.

I'm sure that BCC will fall really hard really quickly. I can't imagine many people want to hold. Everyone will be dumping straight away. Price will start to fall. More dumping will follow.
If it were a proper fork, that's different, but BCC isn't so much a fork as just another alt. Of course I might be wrong, but I really can't see BCC going anywhere.

BTC is rising people wanting to put all there money there and try to cash out quick so they can make a quick buck, but the price will plummet so fast come tomorrow.

It really depends if people with deep pockets are behind it.  The marketcap of BTC isn't overwhelmingly huge that some people might think they can take part of the Bitcoin name and make money from it.  What if they start advertising on TV for BCC, etc. ?  The price may go up from the about .13 that Yobit is currently selling it for, since they are in Russia, they already issued it to BTC holders.

The proof that bitcoin cash gets dumped so hard yesterday, but remember if that was still on the early distribution of bitcoin cash. Tomorrow you will see the serious dump for bitcoin cash (useless coin).
A lot of people already ready to do that. Because there is no a reason to hold it anymore.

On how many exchanges it is traded?  I see only two and one of them is HitBTC.  usually exchanges act fast to make some profit, so is strange to me why would the let this perfect chance to slip away their sticky fingers.

I see it is now traded on Kraken. So one real exchange.   You dont realy need experiences to trade. You just need an ID and internet.

I sold already but price went almost %40 up from where I sold. Interesting, I expected to rather quiet death but some people buy it. I don't fall for this trap though, manipulators can show all their skills but I won't buy this ever. It will be doomed to death.

I had a small amount on Bittrex. 0.173xxxx of it. To be exact.

I just sold it now. Was suprised to see the price rise initially. Dropping now. Not convinced it will retain enough support long term. If (as is suspected thus far) they're only getting < 5% of the hashing power pre-fork, then the $300 it's trading for is probably a bit high.

Can't transfer in our out. Could only trade what I had on there. So I dumped it a couple of $'s below the $300 mark. What the hell. It's a free $50 of BTC now!  :P

Remainder is in cold wallet. Not going to bother transferring the keys for that just yet. I only hold about 3 BTC. But do wonder if it would be worth just taking the $900 now and being happy with it. Long term, with the support it seems to be getting, I suspect it will struggle to stay over $100 ...

I will be holding my coins for a while, lets see how things will go and then will take a decision on what to do with the coins,i am yet to understand how to transfer my coins which i am holding in my wallet,i will wait for a couple of weeks to start moving my coins as i do not want to risk anything, when everything is steady then i will start moving my coins.

Down around 30% from where I sold 10 minutes ago.

And look at the constant little mini-sell walls on Bittrex as 0.1, 0.099, etc starting to form, I reckon it's goinf to struggle to get back to $300. And when you can move BCC in, then the REAL dump will begin I suspect. I doubt I'll get anywhere near $300 each for the 3 I had off the exchanges.

Down down down from here I reckon. For now anyway.

What are you talking about?

Trades are happening. Look on Bittrex or Kraken. I already sold the small amount I had on Kraken.

Trades are totally live. It's deposits and withdrawals that are not.

Price is continuously rising. It is now close to 600$+ and showing 111% as an upward movement.  Can this reach to 1000$ in coming months or will it fall back to 300$ or below in coming time? This would be an interesting watch to keep an eye for. I am sure people will start selling now and crash may come soon unless big players buy this coin.

This is ridiculous. There is nothing to cause this price to rise. It seems like a trick, I suggest everyone here be careful. Otherwise, speculators can take your money.
