Title: Bitcoin cash fork follow up
Post by: PollysCracker on July 31, 2017, 12:29:42 PM
Hello,

is there a place where i can follow in realtime the forking of btc to btc and bch?
or how can i know when the fork has succesfully been completed, the bch ledger will be around 4Gb if i interpret it correctly? so i guess it wont take long untill its fully forked.

but i'd rather have some real-time confirmation of when the fork is completed so that i know when i can take my btc out of my wallet.

This website has an UASF BIP148 Countdown but I'm not sure if it is true or not but it seems like it is true. You can take a look at it.

Thanks but this has nothing to do with the UAHF to bitcoin cash (BCH), segwit will be locked in that i knew and this chain will not split

AFAIK there is currently no block explorer that is readily available and guaranteed to follow the BCash UAHF. Most likely, some will pop up soon after the fork. If you aren't lucky enough to have access to your own full node on the UAHF, your best bet is probably following the zillion threads on this forum.

Also, theymos will post a sticky post-fork follow-up.
