Wondering, if i give someone my Adress and they register with it, are they counted as active or are their points going to my Pointpool?

Hm, what address (you mean HYPER address)?

If someone plays with your Steam username, those points will be added to that username's pointpool as you said it...

Yeah, Hyper adress, and i mean with a different Steam account.
Would it be against the tournament rules?

This would make a mess. You can register with a new Steam account with old HYPER address you have. But points wont be added to your old Steam account. It creates another mess with your HYPER rank.

Hyper is losing value everyday. The devs need to do something against it!

About spy bots, i just think they are a little bit to hard to kill or even hard to get it noticed. But ok, its probably just me, because I am not regularly player and not really used to them.

About HYPER, yes i know, its kinda sad, there is a flood of crypto coins out there, many offering many new things. The only things what it left on us is to continue with our work and keep struggling and stick with it and try to collaborate with other crypto coins.

That is why i am trying to add new coins, new communities to this competition. Along with the rewards, of course. The first one would definitely be ONION coin. We will see.

There may be the same issue arising along with previous question.

That is, considering about active bots in those maps, but anyway i have added "ctf_2fort" and "ctf_2fort_invasion" maps in "Map Cycle" file and we will see what will happen. Default Map has been changed to "ctf_2fort".

I have also added Payload Race maps that carry the plr_ prefix:
plr_hightower_event and
plr_pipeline

Bots don't work with new maps, just tested

I tested some maps and i came to the same conclusion as you did. I deleted some maps. At some maps, bots were just standing still doing nothing, crazy.

Will try to install this bot overhaul addon from tomorrow on.

Just heard about this project from DeepOnion forums and I think ONION would fix the motivation(number of players) problem, you could also rework the distribution rules to make it more appealing.

thats really frustrating, nearly 50% points i make ingame are gone!

For some reason, the hyper server closes the game on me. Did I do something wrong?

Scoring system provided by gametracker is currently the only (mainly used) centralized scoring system where everyone can check points of each player.

It's interesting you have such huge gap between your score and score that is recorded by gametracker, but as said gametracker is a base for scoring system for now.

It's probably because system shutdown/resets on a daily basis for regular updates.

You did not do nothing wrong, you just happened to be at the wrong time on server when it does its regular maintenance.

Regarding the scoring system of the game. I have noticed that it works as follows.

The maps are based on rounds, so if you win a round those points won add up. Otherwise, if you lose the round does not add up.

With that methodology I think it's good, because it makes it more competitive.

Just one question that lurks around my mind, would you guys rather see 1 or 2 mapS in a map cycle per week or should we leave it as it is?

I believe players would become more experience at certain map, but could easily happen game (gamplay) becomes boring.

Its actually based on Time+Points+Mapchanges
I did test it, I made around 429 points, gametracker showed 189, I keep the game open in the background and made sometimes some jumps/shoots so i could not get kicked for staying afk. and yeah, i got points for doing nothing.

Ok, i removed pl_badwater and koth_sawmill from the cycle map and i have added koth_nucleus which also has been set as a starter map.


I dont own the game that is why i wont be playing (maybe i will buy it later), but still need to update/create spreadsheet for 7d2d, cause don't really know how scoring will be taken.

But I talked with CryptoDatabase about possible modification and he has agreed if necessary it will be done by him.

Hello, we've been shooting around some ideas on how to best go about rewarding users and this was one of the ideas. The issue with this is I don't know how many dukes players can obtain in a given time so it is hard to base rewards off of this.

Another idea we had was in order for players to qualify they would be required to add me in game (Anarchist) so I have access to each players score whether they're online or not and then base the rewards off of the player who has obtained the most points in game during that reward period. Points in game are based on players kill/deaths with each kill giving 1 point and each death taking 5. Myself being excluded from the rewards of course.

You can earn dukes by selling items at the traders, so it could vary with each player.Zombie kills would be a good way to reward points.

Some updates regarding the 7d2d server,

PVP has been disabled, solely PVE on the server.
Land Claim blocks now cover a 15 block radius instead of a 7 block radius.

If you have any suggestions for other changes or additions please let me know. I've been playing around with the backend and I believe I can FTP in to modify the games core files but I don't know how it will affect the anti cheat being used.

There are some EAC friendly Modpacks on the 7DTD forum, War of the Walkers and Valmod seem most popular.
Maybe try one later down the road.

I'm familiar with Valmod but only vaguely familiar with the WotW mods. Just from what I've seen on youtube from games4kicks. I'll give it a look and see what I can come up with.

Rules

1. Each player can only collect 1 prize per week, prizes are served on a first come first serve basis. If Timmy claims the first tier then it will no longer be available until next week.
2. You must kill at least 100 zombies to qualify for a prize.
3. Killing other players, looting them, or destroying their buildings automatically disqualifies you from winning any prizes, now or in the future and could lead to a ban. PVP is set to disabled in the code but the server still allows it unfortunately.

7d2d prizes

First Tier 10,000 Dukes for 125 HYPER
Second Tier 5,000 Dukes for 50 HYPER
Third Tier 2,500 Dukes for 25 HYPER

How to claim prizes

On Sunday place the amount of Duke Tokens you wish to exchange into an unlocked chest and then message me in game. If I am offline then please send me a mail here that contains the amount of Dukes and the coordinates to the unlocked chest as well as your HYPER address.

In the event that I am unavailable each prize will be sent in the order they are received in my mailbox here. If a prize is already taken by the time I get to your mail then I will send you the next available prize and deduct the proper amount of tokens from your chest.

Has there been changes to the server? can't log in.

I haven't modified the server but I did have some issues getting in earlier. I kept getting stuck on Starting Game screen even though it put me in game. I restarted the server a couple times and restarted my client and managed to get in after a few tries.

7 Days To Die server is up and running, so frankly I don't know what could be a problem.

Maybe CryptoDatabase is doing some changes on the server's configuration file and that is why you probably having trouble with connection. Try a little bit later.

Same thing here, getting stuck at starting game screen, will try later.

I have updated OP with rules about playing on 7d2d's server and how to paid out for your playing.

CryptoDatabase please make a fast review of those rules if maybe I have written it wrongly in some manner.

Let me know if troubles about playing/connecting to server still remains, i will try to restart server from my side and if that wont help, I will contact a support.

Still can't connect to server, was it updated to A16.4 by any chance? I am able to connect to other servers, so it's not my PC.

I checked the server config code and it's all in good order, our issue is something else. It may require a reinstall of the server to fix it which will suck.

When it happens to me I just exit out of my 7d2d client and reload the game until it lets me in. I think the most I've had to restart my client was twice but it could vary.

Try just wiping my profile first, then I can try to re log in and go to my base, hopefully it's still there.

It gives me two options on the backend, reinstall server and a checkbox for full wipe. I'd assume this means reinstall won't wipe it but there's only one way to find out. Crazyjack is in communication with their support so if they can't help us out then a reinstall will be done.

Personally I don't mind restarting my client once or twice when trying to get in but once I'm in I usually don't have any issues other than clipping the walls and getting boosted up and stuck into my spikes from time to time.

That is true, i am having a conversation with gameservers.com support staff and this is the latest response from them.


I must say they are really fast with their answers and trying to help, it's them who are waiting for a response from us not otherwise.

If I press F7 while stuck on starting game screen, I can see my player, just can't move.I'm going to re-install game on my PC, see if that helps.

In google spreadsheet below I created a tab named "TEST1" where ratios compared to HYPER prizes can be seen and be taken as a starting point for all coins who would like to join to our competition.

For now i named just some for an example (AntiM and GoldPieces).

There are some yellow marked cells you can fill out to get your result as an example to see total cost for participation.

All funds remain in your hands, you release funds to the players only when you are asked to do that.

So at the end of every week, for the weekly winner, at the end of every month for the monthly winner along with payouts for most active players of that month.

Coin weight is calculated based on the market value.

The same table will be made for 7 Days To Die too.

7 Days To Die server has been changed.

Support set up new server, see OP for new one.

What they have done is they raised the memory cap on new server (173.199.107.144:25000 (https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/173.199.107.144:25000/)) for better performance. The server is now up and actively accepting players.

Please let me know if is working, CryptoDatabase i think you can still access to the files as before. If not let me know asap to add you as an admin.

I was able to log in like normal into the game but I normally was able to prior. I'll have to wait until multiple players are on to see what happens but by myself I personally don't see an increase in server performance.

On the laptop I'm currently using to play, for example, I can load up a single player game in max graphics settings and play just fine but on the MP server I have everything turned to low or off and still get lag.

The admin stuff wasn't modified, still have access yes. The only thing they reset were the server and admin config files

I was able to log on fine also.

I wasn't paying attention to the IP switch for 7d2d, uploading the backup to the new server now.

I was able to log in fine yesterday, after you updated old sever save, I'm having the same issue, need to delete my character profile on server, then I can start over.

Edit, Nvm I'm going to just reinstall the server and wipe it. The save backups are glitched and all claim blocks and a bunch of other stuff are no longer working.

As some have already noticed, we have made some changes to our CGC (as short for Crypto Gaming Competition).

This will be much easier for us to follow everything and since new coins are joining to CGC it was getting really time consuming to follow everything on old system.

I will lockdown registration form since we dont need it anymore, existing players should open their new account at thecgc.us as long new participants as well.
