The problem is that you can't actually dump it yet.  Most exchanges still haven't actually enabled deposits and withdrawals of it, including Bittrex last time I checked (wallet maintenance).  The clients for it are also pretty buggy and people are finding it difficult to split their coins.  It's understandable considering that BCH basically just popped up over the last few weeks.

So I do expect at least some kind of dump after BCH is easier for people to deal with - it's still being treated as "free money" by many considering that it hasn't really caused the BTC price to drop at all - but regardless, I'll be HODLing it along with my BTC.

It's basically a massive hype machine, so I would regret selling it a few years from now when there's a massive pump and everyone thinks that it's the greatest technology ever created.

Anyway it's no threat for BTC.  It's worth nothing in comparison and is accepted by about zero merchants.

it is way too soon to even begin to speculate about bitcoin cash future price and any number you see now is unreliable, they just listed it a couple of hours ago for gods sake. and none of them even have opened any deposits!!!

let me put it this way. click here: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/lisk/
and look at the chart, zoom in on April. this is a good example actually. by that time Lisk was not released yet. 2 exchanges listed it on their exchange for trading. the price went up because of it and was dumped as soon as LSK was released and people could make deposits.

and remember it is up to you to dump or hold. i can't really tell you what to do. whatever you decide to do make sure to think about it well enough.

Which exchanges are currently working at the moment with bitcoin cash?

How about kraken exchange?

Ok I can see btc price hasn't been affected that much so when do we expect to see btc price to take a dip? Is it when peeps dump their bcc bitcoin cash?

we are expecting btc price to rise up then dip either after it reached $3000 once again and stay on $2900 ish or dip after it reached $3600 and stay around $3400-$3500
and if anything the "peeps" dumping the bcc bitcoin will go higher ;)

What to do?

You can go ahead, dump and regret later when the price reaches $1000. I am keeping my BCH, infact when this dust settles and the price stabilises. I will buy a few. Welcome to the free market.

But the thing is, most of the users get their equivalent number of their Bitcoin Cash of their Bitcoin so they can sell it and have a good profit out of it, in short they look at it as a miney giveaway from the panic it made these weeks.

But if you are willing to wait I think there is a chance if it being profitable in the future especially the higher ones.

you have to have an account in each of these to manually check but from my accounts on bittrex, yobit and cryptopia i can tell you they don't accept any deposit yet.

and as far as i know exchanges have not yet enabled deposits because the blockchain of bitcoin cash is very unstable right now. it needs to become stable and trusted then enable deposits otherwise there is a big risk for exchanges to lose a lot of money.

Yeah... I am also holding on to my hard earned BCH coins. But I have to warn you that the prices may dip considerably in the next few days, when the exchanges start enabling BTC-BCH trade. Whales such as Roger Ver are going to mop up all the available BCH during the dump. I expect the prices to reach at least $1,000 per coin by the end of this month.

I am finding an exchanger too, the common exchanger that is suggested by my friends are Bittrex but at the moment the Bitcoin Cash wallets are still at maintenance. We just need to wait for another update about that soon. For now let's enjoy a usual day without panic.

I also didn't expect to see such high price, it's just a record! I am also confused about reasons of such instant growth. Also I was surprised to see few BCC in my online wallet, I thought only users with private keys will get it.

The only reason the price is so inflated, is because NO ONE can still send their BCH shitcoin to Exchanges, none of them are accepting BCH yet.

Once Exchanges accept incoming BCH transactions, people will immediately start dumping it, causing the price to crash.

I actually don't see a reason on why to dump it, just wait for the exchanges to start accepting it and Exchange it into something more profitable and earn some good money. Don't let it go to a total waste.

Yeah if the majority will dump their bcc the more bitcoin will pump.
Im planning to dump my bcc soon as I dont like it. Just sell it and buy some altcoin.
Prefer to hold other altcoin than holding such a imitation of bitcoin.

I think to people who are holding in their hard wallet which has private key will get BCC coins. So it is there whether to dump them or wait for a higher price in the market. Many people are selling them in the market because what is the future of BCC nobody can expect.

Yes, most exchanges have already credited their members with the share of free BitcoinCash (BCH) but trading for the said coin is not yet operational no wonder there is actually no big dump happening. Well, its good thing this way so that the value can keep on rising and by the time people would start selling their BCH the value can still be good.

I believe that there is enough space for BCH in the cryptoverse and it does not have to kill its mother Bitcoin as they can live each other peacefully. We can own Bitcoin and at the same this new altcoin. We will see in the coming days how these two separated coins would behave.

Just wait a little longer, people seem excited about this and price is increasing, but as soon as people are able to transfer their Bitmain coins to exchange, their will be a lot of blood, this is free money, the think is, there's no free lunch in the markets.

You should not throw away your bitcoin cash. You can wait for all exchange to activate bitcoin cash so you will exchange it with bitcoin or other altcoin. It still takes time for bitcoin cash to become popular like bitcoin. Let alone the bitcoin cash you get for free on your wallet. It's better to wait for the best time later.

I agree it's every individual's own choice to dump or not. The majority of people as seen on this forum are only waiting for the time when they will be allowed to sell and dump it on various different exchanges. But if you think that it's worth holding then you can do so I personally think that I would dump it once I get a chance to do so.

well most of the people who understand how to claim a free money will make their moves after the exchange open this function i dont believe
that someone will hold it for much longer time and wait for it to grow even more as downfall is just around the corner after it will be available

As it happens all the time in Crypto Pump and Dump but there one positive after a huge pump and huge dump Value Stabilization, I believe BCC also need that and that will happen when all the exchange will be ready for withdrawal and deposit, I only trade with Bittrex and current situation with them is BCC wallet is under maintenance but we can still trade whatever balance is available on bittrex. I am waiting for BCC to come at one stable price so all of crypto lovers could decide what to do. Good Luck

I have learned in order to get ahead and succeed in crypto you must find out whatever most people are doing - and do the opposite. Most people are sheep, and sheep usually don't get ahead in life. In this case, most people will be dumping their BCH on exchanges once possible, so I will hold it and not choose to dump it.

I think you must dump your bitcoin cash, remember the transaction gateway have not opened. I will believe the big dump for bitcoin cash will have happened in the future. Remember my words, because that will be so difficult to make a transaction in bitcoincash. You need 10 days to deliver your transaction. A lot of miners already quit from bitcoincsah.

I strongly suggest to dump it since most exchange still disable/maintenance deposit for BitcoinCash and BitcoinCash network is slow (no block mined in few hours), also i doubt BitcoinCash can survive since they don't have much community or merchant support.

Isn't it too early to conclude this? If the price increases, more miners will join in and blocks will be found quicker. Plus the difficulty will also be adjusted in some time. And if the price increases, community and merchant support will follow.

Bitcoin Cash is overpriced and when they open deposit/withdraw it will be dumped very hard.

yes I think you're totaly right. BCH is on the third place on Coinmarketcap, despite being a baby. In few days many miners will support it and merchants too since it's faster and cheaper than btc

It's too early to dump your bch/bcc, because no merchants/exchagers yet buying it for now, but when there are exchangers and merchants who are buying it, it's definitely going to increase its price, but it will not be a bitcoin competitor Because it's just clone of the bitcoin. So I suggest you hold your BCH/BCC first and do not dump it because it's too early to decide to dump your BCH, i think its took too long but you need to wait until it pump.

It hit 0.48578900, and now it's falling below 0.31000000. It'll be very interesting to see where it lands in a few weeks or months from today.
Just thinking to play with it when its just introduce from trex started at .14-17btc range but due to possibility that anytime the deposit will be available I wasn't touch it if I got it in the right timing I should get a good profits but its not my minds and hearts telling me since this coin really got a big chance being dumped hard.

Traders at Bittrex is now enjoying the BCC up and down trends while the other exchanges experience dump all at the same time, hold if you think the value will somehow rise and reach the bittrex price or dump and never look back.

As it is considered free money by so many, there will be a massive dump for sure. Its just an alt, for what use is it irl? Lets put it this way, there will be 100 people selling for every 5 people buying imo. (probably more) As soon as it hits the markets, when people can deposit it there, just watch! A dumpathon.

maybe its true/maybe its not. when the project was fall and the bcc(they said free) is going to dump.i think the company know about this and they have more plans to avoid this. let us wait and watch what happen next.

Traders at Bittrex is now enjoying the BCC up and down trends while the other exchanges experience dump all at the same time, hold if you think the value will somehow rise and reach the bittrex price or dump and never look back.

in the end we dont know what happen next in this big event. its up to those who had bcc/bch when they dump or hold. and like other folk said when you dump yours. "dont never look back"

yeah its considered a free money. in other way those free money has a potential to grow. let say its has 90% chance to fall but its has a 10% left to raise up again. as long as there is a percentage left to raise up again it has possibility to success no matter what. as if the management want it to raise up after the dumpathon (if dumphaton exist)  :o

Some exchanges they do started but some not yet and about balance any exchange supporting BCC they funded us with BCC already which we can trade, As Bittrex funded me with BCC so if I want i can trade them but till now deposit and withdrawal is not enable in Bittrex. Dumo are happening from them who were holding huge amount of BTC in bittrex before 31st.

There is no any difference
That is Actually same coin BITCOINCASH
but some exchange call in BIT COIN CASH and named BCC and some exchange call it Bitcoin CasH its just namly different according to different exchanges so you don't need to be confused on that.

For More information on BCC or to claim your BCC/BCH you can follow this link Here (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2059111.0)

In theory yes,the supply could be the same as BTC,but isn´t difficult to imagine that some can not be claimed, which reduces considerably the same, this characteristic is the one that could cause  to have a high value but not equal to BTC,clarifying that as long as the network is operating in good condition and no faults occur and the speed is reasonably acceptable,so finally everyone decides if dump it or not,for example only in the present day the price seems to be adjusting to the low in a hurry possibly because several people are selling hurriedly.

Its at number 3 now at market cap. I thought peeps will dump it to value 0 but looking at the price it shot up over 50%. Why price shot up? Is this a serious competitor threat to bitcoin btc itself? Are peeps dumping their btc for bcc?
What to do?

There is a surge of BCH price right now. If you think this will go on then hold your share. But if you think that this surge is temporary and a dump will ensue then sell them already while the price is still high. The crowd is split I think. Some are holding and some are selling.

Ride with caution, it is alright to gain profit at the current situation but you have to ensure you will properly monitor
as the price may go back to its original or average price once whales are down selling.
BCC has skyrocketed after the hard fork and that is not a good movement to trust if you will ask me.

These coins do not have potential of producing huge profits. They are mere wastage of time and money. I will advise him to keep his bitcoin cash with him. They will produce significant profit as compared to these coins.

maybe yes and maybe not, but if there is any support from bitcoin cash, i think the price will be recover to the price before and maybe it could be increase. i guess if the exchanges have open their market for bcc, there will be a dump and pump and many people which have bcc for free will be using this opportunity to make profit or recover their loss.

The exact direction is either to go up or to go down, meaning either way.  ;D But the general trend is downwards I guess. Free money can easily be let go of. But when people starts buying when the price is low, then we will know how much price really is for BCH.

I also think that we should at least hold some of bitcoin cash in order to be part of the ride to moon if it increases in value. The coin is not that bad. Though it can’t replace or compete with bitcoins but still its value is far better than many of the altcoins. I also appreciate his brave move of keeping bitcoin cash when all are dumping it.

Bitcoin cash is a result from the fork of bitcoin, it is not a good coin, it has no projects, not dev, nothing. It is a speculation coin, if you wanna hold it it can drop anytime. It is free money, why dont convert it to bitcoin or to fiat? I converted it to bitcoin when it was $700 each one, i made a good profit

I heard many merchants are going to support it. If you read reddit/btc, there are many supporters there.

Every altcoin ever says that kind of stuff, there is no real reason to believe it, technical development of Bitcoin Cash is inferior to Bitcoin, a lot inferior, unless they start copying code from Bitcoin which would be really weird.

I did this. After BCH offer, I sold 85% of my BCH coins on bittrex. The price was actually way high, around 0.4 BTC. I decided to keep the rest for possible huge pumps on BCH, but it dropped down after that. I'm still keeping 15% of my BCH for future.

The issue for merchants is that transaction fees for bitcoin are too high and the length of time it takes for transactions to be included in blocks is also too long. So they will either switch to bitcoincash once it stabalises, or look for an alt.

Look at the number of exchanges that allow you to change alts like ltc, eth and bch directly into fiat, so you can bypass bitcoin. That is a trend that will continue.

Now there maybe some people who regret having thrown bcc, or who ever looked it one eye. Bcc conditions in market is awesome, even the most profitable altcoin. the surge occurs very obvious gives a significant advantage for those who are solid in bcc. Possibly, this is one of responses to btc on high tx fee.
