Augmented and virtual realities (AR/VR) have the potential to become a disruptive innovation that will change the business landscape across many industries. However, the lack of 3D content is a constraining factor preventing the massive expansion of AR/VR. The next wave of the AR/VR revolution will be driven by content creators working together and contributing to the new ecosystem.
We’ll address creative content demand with our Cappasity ecosystem that makes 3D modelling of real objects accessible to anyone. The AR/VR tool kits available via the ecosystem platform will allow 3D models to be built with any camera and submitted to our 3D content base. According to Citi Bank research, AR commerce is expected to represent 25% of online retailing by 2035, equating to $1.3 trillion . Goldman Sachs expects the AR/VR software market to achieve $35bln  by 2025, with 60% of VR/AR software revenue driven by the consumer.


AR Tokens (ART) will be issued to create a decentralized billing system secured by well-designed smart contracts and able to handle a large number of microtransactions. ARTs are going to be used to finance AR/VR ecosystem development and to facilitate 3D content exchange with a single digital currency within the ecosystem community. Thanks to the innovative EOS blockchain, users will not have to pay transaction fees like they do when using Ethereum or Bitcoin. In order to preserve economic incentive and not to hinder tokens' transferability and the development of our ecosystem, the AR Token will be issued as ERC-20 Ethereum Token and then transferred into EOS blockchain as soon as the EOS Mainnet is put into operation. ART value will depend purely on the AR/VR network ecosystem’s growth, determined by the massive expansion of 3D content use and Cappasity’s decentralized platform improvements.

Ecosystem members will use ARTs to pay for:

●   3D content purchases at the seller’s price
●   3D content rental for commercial purposes

We’ve been collecting information from government regulators and non-government advisory boards, and, based on what we’ve learned, we’ve decided to make some changes to our crowdsale campaign going forward.  The management team believes these changes represent an opportunity for Cappasity to create a brighter future in the market we are set to revolutionize.  

1.   We want to give U.S. citizens the opportunity to take part in our crowdsale, so we have decided to offer our tokens to U.S. accredited investors under Rule 506(c) of the Securities Act.  Our lawyers are now preparing a SAFT, private placement memorandum and a number of related documents. This is good news for Cappasity.
As you know, in most cases, U.S. citizens cannot participate in token sale events.  We will include U.S. citizens and comply with U.S. regulations.

2.   To provide our early token participants with a clearer understanding of what their early contributions are going toward, we have decided to attach our crowdsale targets to the project's milestones.  The marriage of the ‘crowdsale targets’ with ‘project milestones’ will unambiguously show off the project’s maturation and ongoing success. We believe this change will earn the support of early and later contributors alike.    

We have divided our token crowdsale event into two phases. Phase 1, launch date October 25, 2017, represents a total crowdsale of the digital currency equivalent of
30 million USD. Phase 2, date to be announced in Q1 2018, will be capped at the digital currency equivalent of 20 million USD.

3.   After talking with our crowdsale investors and considering the SEC’s recommendations, we have decided to make our bonus system more straightforward. The management of Phase 1 will be divided into three (3) structured Tiers.  These tiers correspond to ongoing development goals and milestones, as articulated in the Cappasity White Paper.  The tier system is based on our Whitelist Application protocol and works like this:

- TIER 1: $10M – 10% Bonus
- TIER 2: $10M – 5% Bonus
- TIER 3: $10M – 0% Bonus
Additional bonuses:  $100K-$300K – 5%, >$300K – 10%

Our motivation to make the changes was to ensure the best possible crowdsale event. We have spent some extra time examining the details and discussed the changes with our legal team. Due to the changes and the time spent making them, we will be moving our token sale launch date to October 25.  
Finally, thank you to our early participants. We look forward to your continued support as we set about revolutionizing the 3D marketplace ecosystem.
