Post by: Cereberus on August 02, 2017, 04:58:41 PM You can try BCN (Bytecoin) with core i5 and Xeon processors, usually netting you about 100-120 coins in a day and if you have a better processor even a bit more. You can try Monero too but this will not provide you a good number of coins , in fact only 0.001-0.01 Monero in a day and with stronger processors a bit more. Mining with CPU has not that good earnings anymore but if you keep your coins, that BCN lately has had a good increase.

Download Minergate software from here https://minergate.com/downloads/gui (https://minergate.com/downloads/gui) install it and it will let you mine BCN automatically without you doing anything. For more detailed mining BCN there are a lot of Youtube videos, give a look, and also some guides on google but Minergate should be enough for you. Title: Re: Which coin best for CPU mining? It is the same as with Minergate though but you have more power control over your coins so if I remember well, use that one as it gives you more power control. Those BCN and Monero are only the ones I mine with CPU, however I am sure there are other coins you can try. Keep reading this section of the forum and I am sure you will find other threads which talk about other coins that can be mined with CPU, but I don't think they are more profitable than BCN at the moment. They are due some big news too, which should push the price up.
