Title: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: Redaxo on August 02, 2017, 08:29:56 PM Hi guys!
I am about to divide 70% of my BTC (30% I will keep as BTC in order to do some short term trading) into different altcoins. So I checked some threads here, had a look at those coins and their plans for the future. I came up with the following coins: ANS (NEO) CVC EMC2 GNT LSK NMR OMG STRAT VIA WAVES XVG I have 3-4 spots left in my portfolio. Which coins would you recommend me to add? I have to say that I have no interest in ETH/ETC, XRP or BCC - so those are not part of my deal. ;) Looking forward to hear from you! Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: didzi on August 02, 2017, 10:55:47 PM SiaCoin, NEM/XEM and Stratis
you can choose one, then add to your portofolio, i think all that coin has a good potential to grow Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: Sikka157 on August 02, 2017, 11:01:53 PM Hi guys! - Via (Segwit almost active http://segwit.viacoin.org/ ) - XVG/Verge ( privacy based cryptocurrency with a solid roadmap yet pretty cheap.) buy ~2 million, hold for long term. - Shift (aiming to create a decentralized Web) - Stratis sadly i only had enough money to invest in via and verge. Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: gedor on August 03, 2017, 07:52:21 AM Ethereum classic may be high in the future, bancor very cheap now and digibyte lots of projects coming.
Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: CryptoPro3 on August 03, 2017, 07:58:45 AM Based on your list, here are my top picks
NEO (ANS) OMG STRAT VIA WAVES In addition, I feel these coins have a strong chance at multiplying highly in price... MGO NET (Nimiq) SHIFT TAAS Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: sfa00076 on August 03, 2017, 09:31:03 AM agree with the picks and here are my choice for potential growths
NMR: AI investment will be widely adopted DGB: Popularity and solid dev CVC: Great idea on the way of handling personal information XVG: Great position to entry in chart (I don't really know much about XVG though lol) Very promising for each of the coins :P :P :P Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: sfa00076 on August 03, 2017, 10:16:36 AM another pick will be safeexchangecoin (SEC)
they have a solid roadmap and is still undervalued Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: Stavri on August 03, 2017, 10:31:42 AM So many cryptocurrencies. I do not advise you to keep that much different coins. You should only keep the ones that you can check everyday. You can not check the projects news updates etc for 10+ coins. It is impossible.
Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: sweerty1 on August 03, 2017, 01:15:52 PM I also think that it is very hard to follow more than 10 coins in once. I hope you don't put high amount. I guess Stratis, DigitalNote and Status may be added. Please check them.
Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: cryptor47 on August 03, 2017, 01:48:29 PM I think that Mass, NET and Shift will do very good in some time. Shift is already gaining momentum. The other 2 will do nicely in 2018. Buy in cheap now - my suggestion.
Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: M0N3YMAGNET on August 03, 2017, 02:09:25 PM Can you share with us how many of each token you hold, and why? That Numeraire looks like an interesting project.
Do you hold any ICO tokens? Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: gvozdik on August 03, 2017, 03:13:25 PM Elastic (XEL) still pretty undervaluated, 5$ can be by end of year.
Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: Redaxo on August 03, 2017, 04:35:16 PM Thanks for your answers so far!
Concerning EMC2: I only added this one because I think it will raise hard in Q3, I will drop this one right after. The rest of my portfolio is meant to be hold on long term. I think of adding MGO, SC/SIA and SHIFT - or perhaps some other suggestions you guys make. Actually I don't think that its that hard to keep track of 10-15 coins at once when you set up the right channels to follow them (Slack, Twitter, Reddit, ...) That Numeraire looks like an interesting project. Do you hold any ICO tokens? I do not talk about the amount of the coins I hold, sorry ;) But I hold the same amount of BTC of every coin and it sums up to 70% of my crypto-fund (30% is BTC). Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: bobo012 on August 03, 2017, 06:02:39 PM Look into byteball and IOTA. They have innovative technology
They use DAG and not blockchain and have good dev teams Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: ubitcoin on August 05, 2017, 03:31:18 PM I also think that it is very hard to follow more than 10 coins in once. I hope you don't put high amount. I guess Stratis, DigitalNote and Status may be added. Please check them. It is tough to manage such a diversified portfolio. Besides the coins you have mentioned are also not bad but there addition will make things more complicated for him. I am amazed that he is using bitcoins for short term trading when we all know they produce unbelievable results in the long terms. Title: Re: Missing Coins in my Portfolio Post by: lx001 on August 05, 2017, 05:05:32 PM I agree with the guy who mentioned XEM, looks like it is going for a loop and will reach its all time high soon. It has been sitting low for quite a long time.
