BitcoinCash (BCH) has already arrived and as of now it is gaining some new adherents and supporters. Now, it remains to be seen how the coin can be behaving in the next few days and weeks...as there is a big possibility that holders might dump the coin once their exchanges would allow them so.

Like it or not...BitcoinCash (BCH) is here to stay and I know there can be a space for another altcoin in the crypto-verse. Can we then have a separate section dedicated to BitcoinCash? Or have we already got one? Please tell me.

ShitcoinTrash is going to tank so fucking hard when they actually allow people to load them on exchanges.

It is quite possible that holders might really thrash their share of BitcoinCash since that is seems to be the general mode and many are expecting that it will really be happening once the floodgates are already open for the coin to be traded. Let's see what can happen with BCH.

There is a place for it. It joins the rest of the altcoins. This is the bitcointalk forum.

Yes it will predictably happen but it will not end there. The nature of the people in the market will always buy them back at cheaper prices because there is always a chance that it will be priced more in the future. By the time BCH deposits are open the price might be high enough to make it go back down to $500 caused by the dump and then it will rise again.

I may be wrong but if I am right then BCH is trading at a discount right now in some exchanges.

I don't think that is necessary, because this has been considered to be an altcoin. So without the creation of any separate section it falls under the altcoin section. Sometimes forum administrators could think it another way and create bitcoin cash section as a child board to bitcoin section.

Since this is the bitcointalk forum I'm sure if Bitcoin Cash (BCH) gains momentum it would make sense to open another section. But for now it's really unnecessary as Bitcoin Cash hasn't proven to be useful in any way yet.

I agree. Just like any other altcoins, bitcoin cash wont phase out because it be buy back again by other user when it was dumped considering it like bitcoin and being hopeful that it will rise again. It wi be existing in trading platforms in the future.

I spend alot of time trying to help out in the Electrum forum.  I am already getting "tired" of Bitcoin Cash crap flooding our Electrum forum.  Electrum is for BTC until at such time Thomas decides if he wants to write BCC code.  For now, why keep clogging up a forum where you must guess since there is no official support.  It appears to me that BCC supporters do not consider their coin an Alt.  Perhaps a sticky in Electrum forbidding BCC threads there.  Soliciting others' thoughts so Theymos can observe if I am the lone ranger on this issue.

It's a good suggestion to have separate section for bitcoin cash. I want to share my experiences of owning bitcoin cash. I want to know more about bitcoin cash.

But why the need for a completely different sub-forum when there's the Altcoin Discussion readily available for all talks about it? Don't get me wrong but other forks of the original bitcoin chain are just alts, so altcoin boards it is to discuss such things. Besides, creating a dedicated section for it requires time and effort, which would just turn to waste since this alt implementation wouldn't last long.

Lets hope that bitcoin cash changes its name soon. I suspect that it has more chance of survival if it distances itself from the more enduring true Bitcoin.

I too think that the name is only the disadvantage. This name had made Bitcoin community hate butcoin cash more. All the fork drama was unnecessary. The free distribution of BCC will make its survival even more tough with all the dump. Giving it another board is just plain stupid.

Spot on it is an alt and we already have the altcoin section where all other coins including Bitcoincash can be put.

The Bitcoin prefix of BCH doesn't make it any special  :P

It's just another altcoin. Dont think it has any future. Expencive to mine, slow blocks, no proffit... It's dead, Jim

For now, a few of the topics are on-topic enough for Bitcoin sections. But mostly they belong in the altcoin sections, and this will increasingly become true as time goes on. There's nothing special about Bcash which warrants a new section.
