Title: Pump Alert service
Post by: PollysCracker on August 03, 2017, 02:13:43 PM
Hi,

Is there any kind of service out there that sends alerts out when a coin is having large increase in buy volume,
something like cryptoping bot but honestly i find it to expensive, 0.01 BTC per month for subscription is way to much, 0.005 BTC is a price i can live with.

It has to be able for me to choose only certain coins to watch so i dont get flooded with alerts for coins i dont want to follow.
How it sends me the alert notifications doesnt really matter as long as it does just that.

You can use also some good telegram pump dump signals group.the provide signals  free.but most of the group give signals for their own profit.

Cryptoping is nice,... actually there is always message and you will ignore most of them, it is just too much actually pumping or dumping.
I would keep some coin as main concner and many other coins are only for fun,
it may be very useful

The problem with this is when a coin rises - you never know if it will keep on rising. In fact, it is most likely going to decrease by the time you get your notification.

Think about it... when coins rise in price that is the worst time to buy them.

You are supposed to buy when the price is low. There should be a bot to alert when price drops.

There can be many such services, but I am sure in long run, you will come to realize the importance of having your own analysis. Because I do hear mixed reviews on many trading call providers/auto trading bots, no one is consistent for all market conditions.

CryptoPing is probably the most sophisticated one and I really suggest sticking with it. The ICO was pretty successful and you should expect more updates on the BOT very often. If you check their site, you will the latest notification and how the coins increased since the BOT made the notification to traders, you will notice that It's not that bad and It's pretty accurate and looking at the numbers, 0.01 BTC (30$) is pretty much nothing compared to the earnings you could get, If you invest wisely.

Their are tools which give you alert of some coins just like in equity market, but their are no reliable groups because after they have bought in low they tell that coins pump news and on high they just sell off and goo away. So i think their is no like pump alert service, you have to work it out by collecting the details about the coins and its history of trading and then go for it.

Thanks friends for the information you provide. I will start following twitter bot, but I have a little question about what percentage of pump warning accuracy level that bot twitter told?

Probably using API from different exchanges and then sends alerts to its users. Not hard to code and very easy to implement. But for the lazy ones, I'll recommend using CryptoPing since it's easier to customize the app for your liking.

Exactly. However it is difficult to know what coins would be pumped since looking on order books alone wouldn't reveal much since pumpers are experts in masking that something's happening until you know it.

If you are in telegram, there are a lot of interlinked groups that are involved in pump and dump functions.
One of many is @cryptomoon (I'm not in anyway related to them) is the one I've joined and they aggregate from almost all of the telegram groups.

I'm using coindera.com a crypto monitoring and alert service.

Looked at it, but this is more like an alert setup service, for such alerts i use coinwink wich has actually a free sms alert service to start with.

What i'm looking for is a service like cryptoping but where i am able to choose for wich coins i get notifications so my phone doesnt get flooded with alerts and i need to check my damn phone every 5 seconds and where i dont need to pay 0.01BTC(30$) membership cost a month. Max cost for me for such a service that i'm willing to spend is 15$ a month tbh, anything more is overpriced..

Looks like my phone has a new app named blockfolio ;) looks good but does not yet do what i looking for here in this thread, nice addition though.
and i already have bitcoinchecker for their widget.

... 0.01 BTC (30$) is pretty much nothing compared to the earnings you could get, If you invest wisely.
I agree cryptoping is a very good bot, but that monthly price is way to much for me, that all depends on how much you have up for trading, investments is something you dont want to sell by buy and sell signals, investments to me mean hodlin.

So for what i have up for trading, this monthly price of 30 is seriously overpriced and has everything to do with the fact cryptoping has no decent known competitors, if by now it already had at least 2 other competitors this price would have been around the 5-20$ and i would have probably upgraded already.

The problem with this is that firstly its not based on AI but instead on other ppl, therefore the consistency and quality of these alerts are not always accurate and secondly you can't setup to watch only specifik coins, i might just aswell keep using cryptoping

Yeah one up to this group and im enjoying their activities really. This @crytpomoon will send out notification each minutes and they will  decide first on which coin they are going to work. You will have chance to vote for the coin first and then most voted coin will get selected for the pumping. The pumping time will be decided and before reaching that time you will get notified each hour. So you can joon the telegram group. FYI im not advertising :-) :-).

Paying for a pump alert is not a good idea. They are not different from fake pump groups who spreads  news of a coin that is going to pump. Just check coinmarketcap. That is what I always do.

You basically want the services for free ? While with that data you can double your money but you stingy fuck don't want to pay the people who put efforts in doing so ? Personally, you don't deserve anything with that attitude.

It has to be able for me to choose only certain coins to watch so i dont get flooded with alerts for coins i dont want to follow.

You have a big list of requirements and no money. No one would work for free ,just to make your pockets bigger.

I don't really pay attention to altcoins as I am not an active traders, even not at all.
All of my attention only for bitcoin obviously, and I am using coinvalue.me to notify whenever bitcoin reach certain point.
Coinvalue could notify from email and messenger (facebook messenger, telegram and skype), its bot will tell you just like what you've asked before.
I am using this bot on telegram, and pretty satisfying. Here the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2038072.0
and it is FREE

I should advise you to read my initial post again, you even quoted it so maybe try to read it too?
I obviously, and its a shame i have to waste my time to state the obvious to you, never said i did not want to pay them for their service, what i DID say is that i find their service way overpriced and that a price half of that seems more reasonable(Last time i checked 0.005 BTC or 17$ is NOT "for free"), they have a ton of subscriptions(and would probably even double that if they halved their monthly fee), they did a succesfull ICO for the development of their bot so those costs should be covered, everything they are getting now is a means to pay additional workforce, advertisements, etc...
With so many features that are still needed to be implemented i find this target price of 0.01 (34$ a month currently) way overpriced, for such early stages it would only make sense if they give discounts to early members, wich we are not seeing.

What i also said in a previous post wich you obviously did not read aswell is that if you are day-/week trading with a low amount you will find it hard to get a decent profit if you pay this, IMO, large subscription fee for a very good but, nonetheless, still unfinished service.

Now read this shit before you post some more dumb shit or just gtfo and go troll some other topics

Am also using blockfollio and it is quite OK for me. I configure the alert by myself and I just do it on most coins I am watching. I was not in the market when bitcoin fall below  $10,000 but blockfollio alert me of this serious price dump. I have used this application to my satisfaction and you can download this application free from play store. Instead of you buying pay application I think you should try this free application.
