Hi All,

I know the market may be at its peak currently. Any recommendations on which crypto currency is untapped and can be invested at the moment and why ? I usually look for promoters and reasons on why a crypto or blockchain will do well in long or short term.

I bought some BCH but sold it since the prediction seems to be it will go down to $100.

I bought some ripples and ethereum.

Which website or resources or commentary can be trusted when speculating or going for short term trading ?

Any inputs from the experienced brains will be appreciated.

I advice to you the best and legit site to read about cryptocurrency news is Cointelegraph based on my experience i read their daily and i see it is truth or legit.
And for which crypto is good to buy now i suggest to you XEM and DGB, Dgb are on the dump stage now and good to buy i think on few days dgb will go up and especially Xem too are on dump stage now i think it is the time that the correction of alts will gone but mostly all of coins on top 20 coinmarketcap is good to buy and hold.

Firstly, we should take into account term: some people want to get money quickly, other can wait an get higher profit. So there are short-term and long-term investments.
Secondly, never sell tokens, if price is falling down. Some investors are scared of such process and they are going to sell everything, but when the situation is getting better they buy the same tokens on higher price.
It's better to buy tokens, when their prise is low. For example, wings and RLC are cheap now. They are expected to be more expensive in autumn. If nor, it's better to wait more and make money. For example, STRATIS is 7$ now. Some weeks ago it cost 4$, month-two months ago it cos 10$. So I expect that it will cost 10$ again or even more/
The last but not least, the most reliable for me is Bitcoin. The prise is always high. And if it drops down, it will rise. OF course, it's not the best coin to make a lot of money, but it's very good to save your money and even get some more.

I think that bitcoin and litecoin, are the solid ones for long term. You can also try ICOs for both long term and short term. There are many companies that actually have a working product and a lot of experience. Invest in their ICOs and you should be fine.

I think it is the right time to sell some of my altcoins, such as OMG and LISK, because I think the price is relative high. I will wait to see the low price in the future and buy them back.

Just visit cointelegraph and find the coins that have high market cap and good coin circulation.
Just to add it up on your portfolio, buy some waves, even it is undervalue but the community is giving their strong support to this coin and soon it will profit good.

Plus it might not be a good idea to bet on coins that have a high market capitalization. They could be at their peaks and if they crash, you can lose your capital very quickly.

Litecoin and Ethereum. They are the two best ones for the coming year, each for its own reasons.

If you're really sure to sell it why not ? . As long as you can earn profit and keep maintain your income well, though there is a possibility the price keep going up after you sell it but just make sure you don't regret after sold that.

Most posters will promote the coin they are invested in.It depends on your strategy, it's hard to pick which coins are the best, to be safe go with the popular ones, dash, btw, eth.Then do some research with the less likely coins.

That was a good act to sold you bitcoin cash, but i think you must try to consider about neo and stratis right now. Or centra token in the future.  :D I will believe neo will worth over $20. But if you are looking about a good sentiment and speculation data you can try to use santiment app.

Considering the recent shutdown of AlphaBay and privacy issues of cryptocurrencies in general, I'd say that privacy-oriented currencies will gain a lot of popularity very soon. I would thus go for Monero, which has in my opinion the best technology privacy wise and large community support.

It is good that you bought not only single but many coins , which is the basic concept to lower the risk of tye trading in bitcoin field .
Here i myself made trading with ETH , Pivx , sia , Btc coin , psb coin  in these weeks because they are fluctuating much according to as low price .
So here i myself would like to recommend to use these coins also for the trading purpose but for short term only because long term investment in such coins is not a better option to buy these coins.
But only ETH and sia are better to buy for long term .

Which wallets are better and trades almost all coins since its easier to keep everything at one place than different ones? I know Kraken but it does not seem to trade some of the coins you are referring to i.e. SIA, LSK, SC, WINGS, RLC

I thought low market cap can mean high appreciation. I have been reading some analysis and predictions. Do you have any personal favourites on whom to trust when it comes to predictions ? individuals or sites.

I think Ethereum & Waves is the good time for buy.Today I  bought some ETH,Doge & Waves.You can buy waves because waves market is big hit after few months I think.This time is great opportunity for buy this coin.

I think you should buy Bitcoin cash fork sure. I believe that it is the strongest competitor of Bitcoin right now and it will show an amazing rate of growth in future. ETHEREUM is also a great crypto to invest in.

I am an ETH supporter and I suggest you to buy some ETH since it is cheap now. You can use some of them to buy ICO tokens or Just hold them as long term investment.

Read white papers and do your own research if you want truly big gains. Following the herd on here will net you small bumps here and there, but finding a diamond in the rough before everyone else jumps in is where fortunes will be made.

Price per coin is irrelevant, Market Cap is the true value of the coin as a whole. Ripple is $0.18/coin and Litecoin is $46.32/coin. Ripple has almost 3x higher Market Cap vs Litecoin, but a fraction of the price. Market Cap = Total Coins multiplied by Price per Coin.

Yes, Bitcoin Cash is still new and you just need to wait till Bitcoin Cash up again although it takes longer time like other altcoin in the cryptomarket. We are really sure Bitcoin Cash has potential to recover the price and can surpass 0.5BTC if possible.

Big market cap coin is more suitable for saving
Small market cap coin is more suitable for investing. Of course we have choose the coin with small market cap carefully in the ocean of small coin. Personally, I pick Signatum.

Waves is the best investment now. Waves platform resembles with etherium. The more advantages are there are token creation, and DEX decentralized exchange. YOu can make token in just a second with only one wave and sell it to exchange. If you had a good project you can use waves token. It is easy. However your token will be worthless if you have no roadmap for your token creation. I think waves will challence etherium in the future.

In general I prefer coins that have practical use like BTC (you can buy things with it) or ETH (you need ETH to buy gas for transaction on the Ethereum network).

On the other hand, if a coin is heavily promoted but has no actual use I would stay away.

I think Litecoin, waves and ethereum have an edge now, you can read it yourself. Here if you talk about the platform, certainly ethereum is the top, followed by litecoin. While waves have rumors will beat ethereum in the near future. They all have good investors and certainly promise.

Waves is good altcoin and good choice to buy right now as the project getting popular by the time being because newcomer of ICOs using WAVES as their platform.

Apart for obvious "a good team", "representative website" etc. I think it's important to check the roadmap - it can be a decisive factor for short-term. Because some coins are good with decent ideas behind them and stuff, but their price is relatively static, because well, nothing much is going on, they are not moving forward (examples: Ripple, PTOY, SIA in a way), which isn't a problem for long-term but can be a bit frustrating if you trade more often.

Look at District0x now on Liqui. It is moving up fast and will be put on Bittrex later today or tomorrow where the price will surely shoot up. Its got a great idea behind it too; decentralised marketplaces. Kind of similar to Stratis.

I am interested to buy more Waves. This seems like a good time to take advantage of trading.

Ans Eth and EOS hold huge potentials for they will become the foundation and infrastructure of the coming decentralised world.

Long term that i can recommend are LTC, ETH, XEM, DASH. But you can also try ehat others suggest but make sure to do a little bit of research before jumping in ofcourse.

SC is the obvious addition to your well thought out portfolio.

Factom is another I think you would like.  I don't own any myself (yet), but it looks enticing.

I prefer purchasing with euro or GBP than with Bitcoin. Some of the crypto platforms dont provide this option. Do you guys know any reliable cryptocurrency exchange platform where they allow trading with euros or pounds ?

Yes there are many options to invest about best altcoin these days. Waves and Eth are good cryptos to buy as the price for sure will increase and you can serve it as a long term investment.

EOS - One of the dev's already made 2 successful Cryptocurrencies. He is going after Ethereum now.

TenX - Doing some really exciting things with payment processors

I invest on Waves for now price is cheaper so anyone can afford to buy. Thats true for me Waves has a great future and I think price will be high in the future. You can also search other coins that are good to buy.

i think is we can not handle too much coins, its better to handle 5-10 coins in the same time because if we have more than 10 coins, its can makes us too confuse to watching the movement of each coins. I am telling this because I have experience with this in the past and I don't want to do the same thing again. I'd rather handle few of coins so I can focus watching the market.

Dash. If you compare Litecoin to Dash, Dash is way under valued, to the tune of over 50%. My prediction is Dash will reach $300 before Litecoin reaches $60.

What you can do is checkout the coin's website, check out their forums. Check out twitter because there are a lot of people who are giving advise and tips. See if they're popular, if they have any new projects in development.

And also, as time pass, you have to learn to read the charts. There are plenty of places in the web that you can learn that stuff. :)

One thing I'm taking note of is that big winners seem to be platforms (ETH, NEO, WAVES) and financial market disruptors. I can't count the number of stock/prediction/fund altcoins that have done amazingly well after launch.

You should learn the art of 'Gatekeeping'. Follow cryptos which have potential, monitor the price movements and scoop up gradually with time interval from the bottom. NEVER FOMO!

I used to buy XEM and XRP. At one point these coins spiked so high so I bought so many of them and enjoyed my profit as they went up. I even continue to buy them even if the prices were so much thinking it would go even higher. But suddenly, in an instant it went so low. Thinking it would go back to how it was, i bought even more. Now i ended up with so much of them but selling them would be a big loss. So if you want to buy an alt coin, don't just base it on their movement, instead, read on. There are so many hoax info about a certain alt coin so make sure what you're reading is legit. Good luck!

You can choose the cryptos in the top 200 because there are so many good new projects to invest such as IXT or some ICO projects in the common occupations in life such as project with my signature. Talking about that IXT coin well I really have to choose that really but my stored coins from other wallets I had wasn't so good. My wallet has been disabled for no reason but, I am hoping so that I will be benefited well and I will go for another plans to invest with this coin and be with other promising token market cap in the future.

There are lots of cryptos that are profitable at the end of the campaigns and also are good to invest. I would suggest that you try to search and look into blogs what are the best cryptos. There is also a bitcoin forum where in they all  talks about cryptos that are new and good to invest.

Check out RDD, it's an oldie but goodie coin which has recently been on a good cheap rise spree. If you prefer something a little larger in market cap then I'm still a fan of Ethereum. It's been down from the high of $400 it had a few months ago but I think as of today it was at $275, on it's way back up.

Actually you need to analyse the coins yourself because without analysze ownself prediction about any coin is impossible ( may be luck can do something ) , so my recommendations for youbfirst of all go at the coinmarketcap and then put that coin which you want to buy . If According to the site  coin is high ranked but price is down then buy in small amount .
Here my self analysis of the coins in this week is pivx , creva , dgb , bcc ) bitcoin cash) , ETH , dash but small need to go down .
The coins that i mentioned are available to buy at low price , so buy yourself at this price in small small amounts and make profit in the month with 20-30% net gain profit .But don't buy single coin only because to buy a single coin in bulk is a risky step of trading

Actually this thread will be a other options only and i am saying that this is all reliable .The answers is on ourselves we need to research and find the coin that will fits to our trading skills not all coins have the same movements and it depends how you trade everyday or weekly .So maybe its a good coin but you can't trade it well so you might be lose only.

I would suggest instead of going for altcoin or alter coin ,invest in token,mainly ethereum tokens.threre are two positive thing about it,first its price will rise as project progress and second is you have buyback protection which cancel the chance of loss.

Ya I agree with you, it would be better to invest in ico project by using ethereum platform, but you should see the project is good or not, because not infrequently there are also experiencing losses lately.

Bitcoin. Never count it out as it consistently tops the crypto market space. Second is ethereum. You can use ethereum tokens in various ICO projects.

I suggested you buy monero for trading or investment. I see monero price action and volume got stable, this is a good indicator that coin will survive on real market. All you have to only replace long time period on your strategy graphic chart and see where the price moving. To make safety, don't forget stop loss and money management. Good luck.

Maybe I am more inclined to buy an old coin that has been in cryptocurrency since i know bitcoin, I prefer ETH, LTC and XRP to trade and as an investment for the next few years.

Right now ETH,LTC and XRP also good for buy.

For the moment I still believe in bitcoin as the best coin I invest in the long term, and the second is Litecoin is good one.

Yes, I agree with you. I admit that ethereum is the best in this year and litecoin is also the fastest. But I have a little suggestion for you, I think XRP is also one of the best coins this time, XRP shows very good and rapid development this year.

Ethereum and waves are altcoins i keep buying and transacting when have bitcoins. The two coins gave me considerable profit on everytrade transaction i did. Even ethereum very profitable to be held longterm.

Waves is the right choice, neo is too hot to buy now,but you can buy it after its price is steady. DCR is nice too.
CDT is also worth buying.

Buy Decred (DCR). It will pop once the lightning network is finished.

I have chicks, 808, dabloon, nobt, 1337, ltc, eth, waves, rain, 420g, and various tokens. I choose according to the Devs activity usually. A Dev that is not around is a bad thing. Though sometimes you can profit off the coin still.

I don't think i can give a good advice for short or medium term buys , but for long term i'll go with IOTA. In my opinion IOTA is now at the same stage Ethereum was in 2016 . Within 2 years at most IOTA will 10X .

Buy coins from the end of first 100 coinmarketcap. They are very cheap and could grow fast if the idea is interesting. LBRY Credits, Melon, Counterparty, iExec, Storj, district0x now only with 10-50 millions cap each - they could be hundreds and you will earn much more comparing buying coins from the first 10.

I'm currently looking into Signatum. It went through a bit of a sell off... and didn't die  ;D
It should be listed on Bittrex soon and that will help the value also.

Besides all that, the devs have some cool ideas and held a Q/A on youtube which was pretty cool.

Good idea and strategy. Did you ever really try to test this? Market cap is always a dangerous game to play. But suppose you are right,,, this strategy still requires a lot of patience. And patience means months instead of weeks. Am I not right? I looked up LBRY and Storj (randomly) and the first is a long time in the making. Storj looks already very profitable, can it make even more?

This is indeed a good thought. However the total marketcap of all cryptos will steadily grow in the next years to come (at least I am conviced about it) and any coin, also if it's already in top 10 can see really huge growth.

Doges, has no feature and future, just a simple bitcoin clone. Guppy, maybe, up to the development coming from the developer team. Monero is a good choice, it will expand itself on Chinese exchangers I think. I can also say Ardor is a good one to put some money.

Doge coin is a waste to invest I have thousands of coins in my wallet and waiting to hit at least minimum $1 from a long time but it not reaching $0.1. so i think i am not sure in future it will grow or not. At the moment, the cryptocurrency market strongly inflated, must be a harsh correction in my opinion. Better to wait for better prices. But if you want to get profit in BTC and not in USD then buy waves, eth, monero, ltc, nem, dash, wings. These coins have a great future. - Good customer support - Shows they care, and they have invested time and money into making sure the average investor can ask questions
