Also really surprised that the Bib blob mode is still here, it's really luck based as if you get attacked from multiple directions you cannot throw your mass in one blob fast enough to defend. I've definitely used boundaries to my advantage a time or two as well. I just think a playground without boundaries might result in an interesting dynamic. time is another boundary, so to speak, and its absence makes a lot of sense, with respect to the king of the hill playground. I guess what I'm trying to say is that a playground without boundaries might lend itself to a particular mode of gameplay. it wouldn't have to be like that for every playground necessarily. there could be a playground where little goodies pop into existence, giving the consumer certain abilities like teleportation or invisibility. a lack of physical boundaries might work very well in that case. I like that there aren't a ton of bells and whistles. it's a simple game that is difficult to master. but a little variety might attract a wider pool of players. it may not be practical right now, but it might be an idea worth revisiting if you ever want to expand or evolve the brand. either way, thanks! Would be nice to have an actual team playground. Other than the adhoc teaming in king of the hill. Payouts for team in the lead for x minutes could be randomly selected from all team members weighted by their mass at the time. Probably like 3 members get paid or something each period. Also would be nice if you had an entirely different game to play to like diep.io I like that game to.. though obviously that is a bigger task. I'd prefer to simply watch a video ad every 10 minutes and remove most of the ads on the site. Need a stretch break anyway between rounds sometimes and a bit of time to trash talk. That'd work well for the standard timed playgrounds, not sure how could do that with king of the hill, maybe pause the whole game? Not sure. Oh and for paid playground,you need a queue set up where I can simply click and say I'd like to play as soon as 5 other players want to play, and you could have a popup on my screen if I'm in another game section to tell me the round will begin in 30 seconds so I can leave and go play. I don't play paid because it's hard to get others coordinated to play, and then you have to wait until a new round begins. It's just not convenient. And how about this, base payout around how many people are playing, as in if had 50 in the room could double the payout or something.
