At 05.08.2017 i shared a photo from myself where i wanted supporters to make BTC to reach over 4.000$ it was 3,050$ at that time and i saw now its 3700$, but it fails and many peoples think that i wanted just donations bla bla, i just type my addy there at photo if someone support my idea to donate if not it will be ignored. But if you would really want bitcoin to go to 4000$ you would just encourage people to buy bitcoin and not donate to your account. Adding up to that you're just holding the sign at home? What's special about that? Everyone can do that. The guy who did it before you actually got on national tv. What you're doing is just phising for donations and copying a concept that already been used. I hope no one is stupid enough to donate to you.

Bitcoin prices can continue to rise very quickly, I'm sure the bitcoin price will surpass 4,000 $ in a very short time. So believe me that we who have bitcoin nowadays should be patient to sell it at a higher price again. There will be a better price increase opportunity because at this time a lot of positive news circulating around bitcoin.

Even though your photo fails or your speculation did failed. The date is the only failure but your speculation is about to happen. We are growing too fast and no doubt that we will eventually see the price of bitcoin hitting $4,000 very soon. Bitcoin now gaining steam and we could probably push a run for $4000. We just have to wait and see. Investors are sticking back to bitcoin market again, although I'm seeing BCC/BCH still up there with good price as well. Just 20.6% SegWit blocks needed for a lock-in. yes we are already very close to 4000$ and i think people are now thinking about 5000$ because they are very sure that bitcoin will cross 4000$ very soon, may be in few days, they are even thinking about 5000$ that bitcoin price will cross 5000 $ in next few months may be at the end of 2017, or in very beginning of 2018. so we need to hold our bitcoins and not to sell it.

Yes is it possible for bitcoin to reach $4000 right now it continue increasing and the chances that it will continue to rise is very high. If it will continue to pump surely many investors will be lucky to have more earnings and also many will start investing to bitcoin and wait for the price hike. You can expect another spike, after the BIP 141 is activated (that may happen within the next 7-8 days). But there is going to be a lot of volatility, due to profit booking and the emergence of Bitcoin Cash.

as segwit was locked in and ready for activation this signals the bitcoin to rise up but inflation will not immediately take effect it may took at least 2 to 3 weeks in my own analysis even if my analysis will not hit the target the BTC price can reach up to 4000$ this year.

It's too difficult to predict timescales with the price. We will definitely see $4,000 bitcoin's but it's a question of when. Remember we've already had a massive price increase.

Bitcoin reach to $4,000 in this year is possible, but I can't sure the price of Bitcoin can stable this price in long time, maybe falldown after reached and stand still low price until the market have more volatity or whales buy enough Bitcoin for continue the road go to the moon of Bitcoin :P

SegWit will get activated around 21st to 23rd uf August. Not earlier!
In terms of volatility it won't be much more as we've seen the last few weeks.
With SegWit getting activated Bitcoin will become a completely different beast! The honeybadger on steroids if you will!
So yes $4000+ is possible, maybe way more, however I doubt this will be sustainable.

After August 1st, first time bitcoin network now experiencing hash rates above 7 TH/s. It means people have started showing their interest. Usually hash rate do raise then mining difficulty after that prices. So, this time too I am expecting similar patterns which might be leading to $4000 levels before end of this August.

$4000 may not be sustainable but we can see quick bounce back too. But I am sure we are not going to see $1800 any more.

I think the price of $4,000 is possible. It is just a matter of time, in my opinion. I would just hold by bitcoins till probably $100,000 before I sell. So I really think $4,000 is just a small number to reach and likely it will go quite higher than that. $100,000 is a huge target. If Bitcoin doubles in value from now, that is pretty good profits. Can you resist the temptation to book profits after a huge increase in price and especially if you need the money?

Right now, we have seen a minor price correction around $3300. But price is still high which is good. Many have predicted that before the hard fork, bitcoin will be down, on the contrary bitcoin was around $2900. And to reach $4000, we needed at least $700 which for me will be a big task specially a correction has already happened. The Segwit locked-in is not a price mover, it still like 2 weeks grace in period before we can finally see how this activation can affect the price of bitcoin in general. If is proves that it has influenced the investors to buy and put their cash into the market, then definitely we can see $4000 in Sept-Oct. But if not, it will take a while before getting to $4000.

There is no doubt about the fact that bitcoin will soon reach $4000 this is because the rate at which the market value of Bitcoin is moving upward makes some people to even project $5000 or thereabouts before the end of the year 2017.

3700$ when how we are talkint about the original price of bitcoin here it must have gone 4000$ plus on korean exchanges but till now bitcoin has reached 3500$ max. About 4000$ yes the price can surely cross 4000$ prettt easily but the point is here it can a lot more time. Since bitcoin reached it's highest price it has fallen so until the market doesn't stabilise the price won't cross 3500$

After dropping 2-3% on today it seems the next day bitcoin value can still to go up again, I'm pretty sure bitcoin value will not drop below 3k dollars. So let's wait until it reaches 4k dollars and do not need to panic if there is a decrease because this is just normal fluctuations.

Yeah it can hit that price in coming months and may be we need to wait longer to see that price and before that even there would be many ups and downs in the price but that is a common practice in bitcoins and one day we will definitely see the price of $4k.

I'm sure it will reach $4,000 soon. As you can see the price of bitcoin is around $3,735 and keep increasing today, it might reach $4,000 in the end of the day. But remember to careful, we never know when the price going down. If the price reach $4,000 soon, how about at the end of the year ? It might hit $5,000 !

I think it will definitely reach $4000. My prediction is that we are entering the 3800 by next week then by the end of the monthbor maybe first week of September we will be seeing that 4000. If seen from the price movement, i'm sure once bitcoin prices will reach up to $4000. This is most likely i guess, and will definitely prove. Bitcoin now is very near to $4000 I guess it will continue to pump and will probably reach $5000. I can't wait to see my investment to double the price. I'd agree with your speculation, seeing that bitcoin have really a big chance to reach that much value, but, there'll be a correction before it's happen. as what have happened before. The price is above the $ 3700 rate, so it is not impossible to reach 4K. We just have to wait until that time comes, the increase keeps happening every day. I am optimistic that this target will be achieved next week, with all the aspects seen today suggesting that bitcoin is one of the most valuable items in the world and will beat the gold that many people are interested in before.

i believe not only 4000$ reach the bitcoin before the end of this year my expeection value of bitcoin before end of the year is more than 5000$ the is after the split issue the bitcoin value in cryptocuries continues to uprise follow by the altcoins. the bitcoin stay strong the fall now its only august how about the ramaining 4mos? almost every week the value pumping.

well who knows when is the price going to reach to  $4000 or even if it reaches to that level in a day or two or maybe in a week will it stay at that price  or once again correction will happen pulling the price downwards. The bitcoin price will definitely go above  $4000 but predicting the time frame for it is a bit hard because almost everyone knows how much volatile and unpredictable is bitcoin price.

Btc price is going out of control many said that altcoins is a easier way to get more profit than btc but currently btc has almost reach $3900 i can't really understand what's the reason behind this i did hear that the first bitcoin exchange in egypt has been introduced but sure that alone egypt can't really push the price so far. If you are waiting for $4k it's almost there not sure but we might experience a dump.

Bitcoin on Bull run right now? Well, I'm not so sure about it as I see it as a normal increases due to segwit activation on August 21st.
BTC mean to be the best digital currency and should reach fantastic price over time, all of it has been proven so far and consider bitcoin still on the beginning of its development.

The $4000 mark hasn't really been a target in the last few days, since the market just needed to increase with around 20% to reach it ~ most eyes will indeed be pointed at reaching $5000 now.

I'm sure Bitcoin will reach 4000$ the question is whether this will be now or will se have to wait  for that for a while. Now we are about 100$ to 200$ short so 4000$ is just a blink away but we kniw how market changes easily and price could go down also. But I' m sure many users think that the next goal isn't 4000$ but 5000$.

Wow, before August I would have said not for at least a few months or a year. The rally we've seen over the past wek has been absolutely amazing so we'll see $4000 at any point now. Probably today on certain exchanges. Another huge accomplishment for bitcoin everywhere!

From the beginning I also said so, that if there is no major issue then bitcoin will skyrocket and will never drop again. I'm glad I did not sell bitcoin before 1 August and now I'm getting a huge profit.

I've never thought that the price of this digital currency will be reaching $4000 almost double the price the last month. With the new bitcoin, Bitcoin SegWit, many more investors put their money in this currency maybe because they see that it will be developing more and will be more expensive in the future.

In early August I had predicted the bitcoin price would reach $ 4000, but my prediction that price will happen at the end of this month. But now we all faced with an amazing reality, we can see the price of bitcoin is currently above $ 4000, even though we just entered the middle of this month. This means the possibility of bitcoin prices will touch $ 5000 by the end of this month. And that is our expectation.

YES.  Good times ahead.  We have a great market for the time being.  Alts are getting absolutely hammered.  but if btc calms down a bit, there is no reason why the alts can't get pulled up with it.  Super exciting times . . what a month it has been!!  I feel bad for the people that panic dumped their btc at sub 2000 USD . . and it wasn't even two months ago.  :o

People are hyped by the segwit, the people who newly join bitcoin because seeing the significant price increase also make the demands even more. noone of use ever expecting this to happen, but fortunately I've holding ever since bitcoin was dumped when people still talking about BIP148 and hardfork, now, I got the result to what I really deserve, really like a nice achievement for me.

Ofcoarse bitcoin will reach 4000 dollars and if you see the price today its 4400 dollars and continue to increase in the nextfew months. So its better if you buy bitcoin and you earn a lot profit. Dont sell your bitcoin hold your bitcoin for shorterm and for longterm. That was a good start for this coming new quarter and i think bitcoins price will more going to rise by september until december my prediction is $5000-5500 per bitcoins .If you want to buy now buy falling is happening then hold it until the year end or another years if you can.

Of course $4000 has been breached already and even touches $4500, unfortunately we experienced some minor dip after getting into $4500 which is normal for traders to dump their coins because the price is too high. But its good that we are still in high's of $4000 so there are still a lot of room for us to go to $5000-$7000 at the end of the year. And with Segwit implementation coming, I think we can push the price even further from today, just be patience and see how the market will react once we are near that date.

Looking at the price today, it looks like their is a slight dip, we touch briefly 4000$ then dip to 3800$ then today at 3600$ so if we follow the trend, it looks like we are slowly dipping every week and not the bullish that we all have been expected. For me we still have the China hangover because the closure of their exchanges will begun at the end of September. I'm assuming that there will be another dip up to end of the month and even in October as exchanges continue to close that time. And if Dimon place a perfect time again to bash and attack bitcoin, then we have to expect that bitcoin price will drop. As of now the price of bitcoin is 3700 dollars and its near at 4k dollars but we dont know when the price hit 4k dollars. Maybe this week or maybe next week  But I hope as soon as possible bitcoin price will hit that price so we can make a lot of profit. Yes, price at present is getting closer to $4000, but the price seems to be in the stability gain phase where the fluctuations is quite low sustaining within a fixed price. So maybe in a week's time or two we'll reach out $4000 which is the long time expectation after the price drops low.

I agree, bitcoin will still reach $4000 and up, even after dropping its price it still recover its price with $3700 which is still a good price. Do not rush bitcoin and be patient for us to gain profits.

From past some days the price is stable it's being trading around 3800$ around with not much high movement at present . Yes, the price will increase without doubt. As stated above the price have been found around $3800 for a longer time period without much deviations happening. So the same is expected to pump in a short time period crossing the barrier of $4000 and reaching new ATH, because the price went as close as $5000 weeks back before the issue from China.

Bitcoin already reached and broke the 4000$ mark, it even reached 4800$. It just dropped because of what happened with China and ICOs including Bitcoin exchanges that resulted into downfall. Bitcoin is slowly recovering and will then again try to break the 4000$ mark and this time, without China. Bitcoin's market value already reached 4800 dollars this year. But unfortunately, it again, dropped because we lose a major investor which is China that banned bitcoin exchanges that resulted for cryptomarket to fall. Good grief because Bitcoin is now slowly recovering and hoping that before this year end, it will again reach the 4000 mark. It is not impossible especially if the next hardfork will be successful just like what happened last month of August.
