Title: Hello, have a GeForce card, new to Bitcoin. Post by: XX55XX on June 21, 2011, 10:20:08 PM Hi. I am new to this whole Bitcoin thing, and I've started mining with my GTX 560 Ti, using the CUDA client via the GUIminer. I am getting roughly 86 Mhash/s.
I have just one question: I just signed up for a donation of 0.01 Bitcoins from the Bitcoin Faucet, and my Bitcoins have yet to appear in my wallet, even though the transaction was initiated hours ago. I read somewere in the forum that bitcoin faucet has dried out. I might be lying though. Btw, Geforce cards will not have a great hashing power. their GPU's are designed to work in a different way. Oh well, guess I will have to press my 13-inch MacBook Pro with its 9400M into service soon. And... are Intel HD Graphics 3000 Open-CL compatible? There's a comparison table of all the M/Hash's in the Wiki https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison Also I have read that yes the Bitcoin faucet is dry but some online foundation that accepts Bitcoin donations has decided to donate them all back to Bitcoin faucet to try and strengthen the currency, so hopefully that will happen soon.
