Title: How to you "unstake coins" and transfer them back to your "balance"?
Post by: rodyw on August 12, 2017, 10:40:38 PM
I hope someone can help me. I have coins in my Fincoin wallet which are in Stake. I want to get them back on my balance so I can send them. The problem is that it needs confirmation from new blocks, but no new blocks are generated over a week now. How can I get these coins sent?

Sounds like a pickle. You might have to start mining this coin to get your transaction confirmed.

Get another node up and staking to get the network moving.

This is the block explorer http://explorer.fincoin.co. So you mean I have to install a new wallet on a new pc, put coins in in it and enable minting to generate new blocks? But that should mean that I am the only one minting blocks for this coin won't it? What happened to all the others? And is one new wallet enough to get the amount of necessary blocks needed to confirm the transactions or do I have to spread them into multiple wallets?

Sorry for your loss. How much did you lose? Do you know how to mine or have a GPU?

From website alone it already seems like a shit/scam coin.

Hmm, there are new blocks generated again, but my wallet stays or of sync. Still no luck.

So, for the people that contributed to this thread a quick summarize:

  • Blocks were generated again, so my coins went into my Balance of my wallet. I even got some extra coins for the time my coins were on stake.
  • I have contacted the Exchange to re enable transfers again and they enabled Deposit only. So I was able to transfer my coins to the exchange.
  • It took me two weeks to finally sell all my coins for a price that was fair enough, because trading in this coin was as good as dead.

Finally I am done with this shitcoin and now I can focus on some other coins with more prospective like DeepOnion!  :)
