Title: Thoughts on Qwark and the upcoming burn
Post by: HippiePyro on August 14, 2017, 04:08:54 PM
So the twitter page for the dev''s of qwark coin say they will be decreasing the total amount of qwark by 50% tomorrow. I'm curious what your thoughts on this and the coin as a whole are?

Anyone? This would in theory double the value of the remaining coins but idk. Could really use another opinion. Thanks

Hi Hippie,

My answer is not helping you but I have heared this as well. I assume price will at least double and even more because of the buzz it will generate.

The burn is tomorrow, and it's pumping pretty good right now.

What does this coin do exactly?

It doesn't work like that always. From what I have seen from the altcoin airdrops, the increase in supply only have a limited and temporary effect on the exchange rates. I have noticed this from the Stellar Lumen and Byteball airdrops.

This isn't an air drop tho. They are removing 50% of the undtributed coins from the program. Cuts the total possible supply down a 3rd

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1537615.msg20964192#msg20964192, this coin used to called SARS. Also I would be wary with this. The bittrex market went down for an hr and the price dropped 25% when it was reopened.

https://mobile.twitter.com/qwarktoken?lang=en this is their twitter from CMC.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1537615.0 the ANN thread for the original coin. Looks like a similar distribution time as bitcoin but all premined and dispersed via the mining pool rewards. Very odd. But this may have changed when the name did. I still can't find anything recent from debs aside from twitter

I've stocked up and watching the price go up. The burn is later today, not sure what time.
