Following signature campaign thread : Indian Independence Day Celebration - AVATAR CAMPAIGN (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2088736.0)
Nothing fancy,just a regular signature campaign thread with participants posting their entries.
Suddenly,a wild butthurt Pakistani appears


Even if he has relevant opinion.how does it makes any sense to leave that comment in a signature campaign thread ? Isn't it off-topic ? The said account woke up after almost an year to post that crap.
I reported that post 2 times and it's been more than 8  hours the post isn't removed yet.

Tell me if I'm missing out on something ?

I saw the post too and I was like " who is this individual trying to wipe up unnecessary sentiment in a public forum" and even doing it off topic which should not be allowed in a public opinion. In addition to that, its not even supposed to be in "off topic" because if its allowed, then there is bound to be some serious tribal or ethnic confrontations which I am sure will not lead to something nice. I am with you that it should be deleted immediately without having to wait for it to be reported not to talk of reporting it two time.

And it's been almost 24 hours but the post isn't deleted.
I wonder why hasn't any mods bothered posting here yet (hilariousandco replies instantly usually).Maybe according to them the post might be constructive and not off-topic but still need a reply.This is extremely sad though.

AFAIK the user is not breaking any rules. Therefore, you may disagree with what he said, but this doesn't mean that his post should be deleted. That's called "freedom of expression".

There are already plenty spam in the forum to mods care about. If you desliked what someone said, just ignore him.

"Freedom of Expression" o...kay! Mate,you're real fancy with the words you see but talking about a dildo in a thread which is selling zucchinis doesn't make sense as it's irrelevant.As far as bitcointalk is concerned,I think I fairly have an idea what a shit post looks like.
The thread is meant for a signature campaign and not comparing how amazing Pakistan is.Like I said whatever he said might be true but a signature campaign thread isn't a right place to voice his opinions.And just so you know,this is a private forum with rules and regulations to be followed.

There were a lot of posts in that thread just saying Happy Independence day,
and I suppose those are all off topic right?  No complaints about those,  right?   

Why not just let it go.  I actually had a chuckle at that comment.

It breaks literally the only rule set by theymos (even though there are others): Do not post off-topic replies (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14356.0).

We are probably over-reacting on a single post. For all you know, those reports might not have been handled yet.
The forum has bigger problems then a single off topic post. There are users spamming their way to glory here.

9 posts including mine for a single off topic post. with this thread you are telling mods what and how to be a mod, now I wonder why the mods allowing such threads to keep going forward, I'm afraid to see 200 pages in continuation of this topic in the next 365 days :D just for a single sh*tty noob post.
