 Bannercoin is a POS Crypto currency that is designed to buy items from the steam store, you will only be eligible to trade items under 1 USD, and as we progress forward the tiers will go higher, we have an inventory of over 5000 items under 1 USD so its a good place to start. This idea came about due to the slow btc confirmations, yes Steam offers a Bitcoin payment option, but sometimes confirmations are generally slow, so why not develop a crypto currency dedicated to the Steam Market. Long term plans have us looking at other platforms, so instead of only buying off of the Steam market, we would look into adding compatibility for Blizzard Battlenet Cardsamoung other things. This project is unpolished and more like ambitious. If people have bitcoins and want to purchase a game they will do it directly from Steam because they are used to it. They won't ever even get to know that such coin exists. It's a good project but I don't see it having a future. :-\

Installed the wallet and received drop (thanks for that), but initially was not synching. It was stuck at block 1169 with 6 active connections. After an hour or two the wallet started to synch properly. Now all synched and first transaction has been confirmed (by 2). All looking good so far  :)

It's a rare cryptocurrency used to exchange the bannercoins with the items on the steam market, it also has generally faster confirmations than btc, so the wait wouldn't be as long, but it's your opinion.

I already had staked one time. Do I need to wait 8h after staking also?
Eventually it started staking again, and it said "Expected time to earn reward 11 hours", but now (almost 24h later) is saying 1hour. It's one hour for almost 5h.
Is this normal or it's a bug?

No it isnt a bug, because when it comes to staking the network difficulty goes up the more wallets that are staking. So, it will become harder for your stake to be accepted by the network hence the wrong estimation time. But, the more coins you have, the more you will stake.

This project looks interesting. A suggestion for the future is development of a wallet for ARM microarchitecture so that it is possible to stake using a raspberry pi.

Livecoin is known to scam users, for example when XTO was at 300 satoshi, and it went past 1000 satoshi, they disabled all XTO wallets, and they are still disabled to this day.

It's in a decent market, the market it's currently in, is still not big enough to generate decent volume. But, hopefully once it gets on a bigger exchange it starts to do well.

Please let us know how we as community can assist in getting the coin on one of these exchanges. We are building a nice group of followers here that believe in the project.

Currently, a lot of the good exchanges take some sort of payment to get on, like some are .2 BTC, others like Live coin are 4 BTC, i could look into starting a donation address for help getting an exchange.

Also if you feel like you don't trust the coins markets exchange, as a community you could help by promoting the coin in other areas. Cause it seems the only way we will generate volume is if this coin hits a bigger exchange.

It is, we will see lots of growth in the near future.

Please continue to stake and keep your wallet open for more BANC, also if you have your coins on the coinmarkets exchange, they stake automatically in your wallet.

You can buy it on the exchange.

You will only get the POS % if you originally had coins in the wallet, so for example if you have 100 coins in your wallet, and you have been staking the entire year, you will get 7 coins coins. Since the POS% is 7.

How this coin is correlated with Steam actually?

Bannercoin is a POS Crypto currency that is designed to buy items from the steam store, you will only be eligible to trade items under 1 USD, and as we progress forward the tiers will go higher, we have an inventory of over 5000 items under 1 USD so its a good place to start.

So the banner coins will be used directly to buy items? how can you manage volatility of the coin?

When someone comes to me for a trade we will check the current active trade rates of both the steam market item and the coin then make the swap accordingly.

I love how everyone is complaining about banner coin updates but the second there is buy orders you guy dump, if you joined the telegram you would know that the Dev is working tirelessly on updates, the new site should drop soon, and he is also working on updates, if you truly want this coin to do well, tell your friends, and put up some buy orders.

I do not see any price movements on such exchanges and I have traded there with such a large withdrawal fee, the withdrawal fee of 200k satoshi is equivalent to $ 20 more, if I went there to sell the 10 banners it would only be exhausted for the withdrawal fee.
