Introducing ALIS - Japan's First Social Media Platform Using Blockchain Technology

Website (https://alismedia.jp/) | Twitter (https://twitter.com/ALIS_media) | Slack (https://alis-slack.herokuapp.com/) | Whitepaper (https://alisproject.github.io/whitepaper/whitepaper_v1.01.pdf) | FAQ
 (https://medium.com/@alismedia/alis-faq-e23f9d41af03)

ICO 9/1 - 9/29 - NOW COMPLETE!

FIRST WEEK: 1 ETH = 2900 ALIS - Complete!
SECOND WEEK: 1 ETH = 2600 ALIS - Complete!
THIRD WEEK: 1 ETH = 2300 ALIS - Complete!
FINAL WEEK: 1 ETH = 2000 ALIS - Complete!

THE ICO IS COMPLETE! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATED!

ALIS is Japan's first social media platform that directly incentivizes content curation and content deployment while utilizing trust, both in articles and individuals. ALIS incentivizes this behavior (detailed in the Whitepaper linked below) in an easy-to-understand way.

Japan has a highly interconnected culture that is difficult to commercially penetrate. Japan has seen a 130% market growth for social media since 2014, and is also home to the highest volume of Bitcoin transactions in the world, making it an ideal market for a social network like ALIS. Japan is also a unique market, and requires specific solutions to its social media needs. ALIS aims to address those needs.

While the ALIS team was inspired by some elements of STEEM - ALIS is not a clone and is fundamentally different. These are detailed in two Medium posts. Part 1 (https://medium.com/@alismedia/part1-what-is-alis-f3d3d10ac28a) and Part 2 (https://medium.com/@alismedia/part2-what-is-the-difference-between-alis-and-steem-how-alis-will-grow-up-for-long-term-c7dc861c737f)

ALIS rewards both the poster and the first few people to notice and evaluate the content, this will help create a situation where the best iteration of a given piece of content rises to surface, and raises the user who posted it's User Reliability Score, while also rewarding those first few to discover the content and who help raise its visibility.

To help mitigate the possibilities for brigading as well as astro-turf campaigns, ALIS will value interactions in part by how long the interacting parties have individually held ALIS tokens

ALIS seeks to utilize the best of social networking - sharing content across diverse groups of people, rewarding interactions with more people above multiple interactions with the same person.

WEEK 2: 1 ETH =2600 ALIS - Complete!
WEEK 3: 1 ETH =2300 ALIS - Complete!

We believe that the differences between our model and Steemit's model are substantive and important, even though both models support the notion that social media network's can benefit from direct incentives towards certain behaviors.

Some of the differences between ALIS and Steemit include: ALIS' 1 currency vs. Steemit's 3, ALIS' reward structure values the first people to like/share a post that ends up being very popular much moreso than Steemit's. The ALIS token is more effective on our network the longer the user has held it (to help prevent people from loading up on ALIS tokens to do astro-turf marketing). On ALIS one's overall activity contributes to creating a User Reliability Score that other users can look to and see who is regularly posting interesting, reliable, accurate and authentic content. ALIS also has a system that rewards interactions with multiple users over repeated interactions with the same user, to also help prevent gaming the system on the one hand, and to help encourage more diverse interactions on the network on the other hand.

Social media networks that aren't a good cultural fit for Japan tend to not work out. Currently, Japan has the highest saturation of social media users (over 90%) in the first world, but less than 30% of them use Facebook, because Facebook's model doesn't properly fit the Japanese culture. Most Japanese currently use Twitter (~70%), because 140 characters goes much farther with the Japanese language. Simply adding Japanese language support doesn't guarantee that a product will be successful in the Japanese market.

Japan has a very specific culture and very specific desires when it comes to things like social media, advertising, marketing, authenticity and accuracy. Our opinion is that ALIS addresses those concerns directly, effectively, and in a way that will be easy-to-understand and use for the average Japanese consumer, in no small part because the team is Japanese, experienced in creating social media products for the Japanese market, and familiar with effective ways to draw in the Japanese user.

Thank you for your time and consideration  :)

There doesn't seem to be too much interest here.. I wonder why.
I like the idea of the project and although it's just aimed at Japan, I can see the value of the ICO as they are raising "only" $3.5m.

Why do you think there is not that much interest in the topic, Alis team?

So a social media for japanese, did this means that this coins will only available for Japan region? Since as far as I know that Japan always has their region only social media that are not available in another country.

So a social media for japanese, did this means that this coins will only available for Japan region? Since as far as I know that Japan always has their region only social media that are not available in another country.

The ALIS tokens will be available to purchase or trade outside of Japan. If you are a resident of the State of New York, you cannot participate in the ICO on 9/1. However, everywhere else in the world (as far as I am aware) can participate. The ALIS tokens will be listed on Bittrex, Kraken, and JP Exchange initially (the team is currently communicating with those exchanges so that it can be listed shortly after the ICO completes) - so they should be easy to trade whether an investor is in North America, Europe, or Asia.

But your second point, regarding region-only social media in East Asia, is one of the contextual market variables that (I think) will meaningfully contribute to ALIS' ultimate success.

Hope that helps clear some things up!  ;D

Why do you think there is not that much interest in the topic, Alis team?

I would say that there is overall interest - just that it has not manifested itself here specifically, or on the main English-language cryptocurrency areas of the Internet. That's probably because it's a Japanese project so the initial interest has heavily leaned towards the East Asia region.

But in just a few short weeks their Slack has grown from less than 300 people to over 1,000 - and the team has meaningfully engaged with Japanese and regional media outlets to promote their upcoming ICO. If you can read Japanese their twitter handle - @ALIS_media has linked many of the recent articles/interviews.

Forum posts, like the one here or at cryptocurrency talk, or elsewhere, have been effective in their own way - but when a team's native language is not English, there is necessarily going to be some initial sluggishness in getting the message out beyond their native lingual sphere.

Hope that helps to clarify some things!  ;D

how about bounty campaign. are you not putting that into consideration. the site load really fast, website navigation is seamless and i like the translation plugin that you added. I will love if you can create telegram page for this ICO. also it will be great if you can consider some accepted token like Waves and Dash. not just only ETH. Also i see from your twitter handle you tweet most time in japanese. I will like you to consider using English also. I wish you best of luck

There is no bounty campaign. The twitter account is run by the development team, who are all Japanese, and not surprisingly mostly communicate in Japanese. They have reproduced most-if-not-all of their Medium posts in English, however, as well as having the Whitepaper in English.

The ALIS team is currently in talks with the NEO team about potentially doing an ICO on NEO at a later date. However, currently they are focused on their ETH ICO that starts on 9/1. Once that is completed, a secondary ICO on NEO may occur.

Hope that helps clear some stuff up!  ;D

You will open ICO 2 times for same project that is insane so what future will of the current one fundraising campaign. You have to come with solid mind to decide first what you want to do with this business I think this kind of decision will create confusion for people.

The only ICO that is guaranteed to happen is the one that begins in ~10hrs, on Ethereum, using ETH. The NEO partnership will hopefully bear out but at this point nothing is set in stone. Going public with the partnership with NEO before anything had been finalized was perhaps confusing for people. For that we are sorry.

Hope that helps to clear up some stuff!  ;D

This obviously has an impact on the people that invested earlier on.

Sorry for late reply. I completely agree with your opinion. we are talking with NEO team now, and won't do the thing which will confuse people. I can't say the details now, but will announce it.

EDIT: I DID NOT REALIZE NEW ACCOUNTS COULDN'T POST IMAGES. THE IMAGES ARE VARIOUS INFOGRAPHICS FOR ALIS

Introducing ALIS - Japan's First Social Media Platform Using Blockchain Technology

Website (https://alismedia.jp/) | Twitter (https://twitter.com/ALIS_media) | Slack (https://alis-slack.herokuapp.com/) | Whitepaper (https://alisproject.github.io/whitepaper/whitepaper_v1.01.pdf) | FAQ
 (https://medium.com/@alismedia/alis-faq-e23f9d41af03)

ICO 9/1 - 9/29

FIRST WEEK: 1 ETH = 2900 ALIS
SECOND WEEK: 1 ETH = 2600 ALIS
THIRD WEEK: 1 ETH = 2300 ALIS
FINAL WEEK: 1 ETH = 2000 ALIS

ADDITIONAL IMAGE SHOWING THE ALIS TOKEN BUSINESS MODEL

YouTube Video of the three founders briefly discussing their vision for ALIS
LINK (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8R9QGQ5h1Zw)

ALIS has a three step plan for growth of the platform in Japan

* Establishing market share in niche areas (cryptocurrency, blockchain, little known anime and manga, etc)

* Expand to areas dominated in Japan by word-of-mouth and other reputation websites (restaurants, travel, diet, life events such as school admission, marriage, and purchase of homes)

* Based on accumulated trust and a growing user base, begin expanding out into more diverse markets. Deploy new services targeted at those markets and continuing to leverage ALIS' unique system of encouraging authenticity and accuracy.

But the number of tokens is not limited: for valid tokens in ALIS wallet, inflation will be 50% each year. Therefore, the value of the token will decrease annually. Or I'm wrong?

Yes you are right.
No limited and inflation will be 50% each year.

However the inflation will be effect the token only on our platform wallet.
This is not ETH address. The DApps of our platform.

So if people hold the tokens on exchanges, no inflation.
Also tokens which ALIS team holding is not inflate.

We estimated actuall inflation is 10 maybe 20% per year.  :)

I wanted to ask similar question because title of the ICO making it for limited usage only. Now after seeing the reply I will ask if this was designed only for Japanese community then what was the purpose to start ICO for everyone to invest in that ? Was not good to keep the ICO for Japanese investors only ?

First ALIS will target only Japanese, but will target everyone in the future.
The important thing is that we dare to say we target Japanese first.
We can easily say we target global(most ICO say so), but we think it is difficult to grow up our service if we target everyone in the world.
We have to focus one market to grow up our service rapidly, and it will cause the maximum return to our investors as well.

As of today - 9/23/2017, ALIS has raised ~12,660 ETH, which is currently valued at a little over $3.5 million, given ETH's current trading price of ~@279

You can follow along with how much has been raised so far on ALIS' website - https://alismedia.jp/

Currently, ALIS is listed on CoinExchange and EtherDelta. However, we did not approach those exchanges to have our coin listed there. They did that of their own volition.

We are approaching other exchanges with higher volumes on our own. We will announce it when those listings are formalized.

I'll be looking into the social media market in Japan in the next day or two.  I'm also expecting a bit more of post-CMC dump, but I'll be coming back in a day or two when I have time to look over this project.

I know this project is said to be tuned to the Japanese market.  How exactly?  I'd love some very detailed points.

-Good luck!

They have 287 millions total, however, devs will burn the rest (unsold tokens) on 1'st of November.

The number of tokens left will be depending of how many people will buy. Let's say for example, 100 mil for the sake of argument.

Great project. To the MOON!!!

No. I just did my research. Basically when the sale is over they will burn all the unsold coins (november 1-2) . Could be 37 mil, could be 100 mil, depending how many are sold so far.

I think there is a way to find out the number of tokens sold so far, but I do not know, nor did I searched.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm holding.

Best of luck

in my opinion they are doing well and their twits are generally about what they do, not about just increase, value or price like other new coins.
They seem to be focused on the project, so success and value will spontaneously come. That's why ı'm in.

They have 287 millions total, however, devs will burn the rest (unsold tokens) on 1'st of November.

The number of tokens left will be depending of how many people will buy. Let's say for example, 100 mil for the sake of argument.

Great project. To the MOON!!!

You seem to understand about this project, are you part of the team?
And currently Circulating Supply 37,852,608 ALIS (coinmarketcap version) if nobody buys the rest will be burned? and fixed supply 37,852,608 ALIS, right?

it will be around 75,000,000 ALIS after burning. I read on twitter - ALIS_media

So... after burning, 75m ALIS, and another 75m that's held by the team, or 250m held by the team?

According to their white paper: "ALIS is set to procure funds with an ICO, issuing 500 million tokens and exchanging half of them with
Ethereum. The upper limit of distribution is 250 million and the remaining tokens (250 million) will be owned by our stakeholders and us. The reason why we plan to own 50% is that we ourselves will have a healthy incentive to develop the platform."

You're an idiot. People consider buying on both circulating supply and total supply (knowing full well it will eventually dilute the circulating supply)
Stop posting on multiple threads that this post about burning coins is a scam. You're an idiot. Your comment is bad and you should feel bad.

The idea of a burn is good for several reasons:

1. Shows the team burns coins when they could hold on to them, thus meaning they aint money hungry and are building up trust. Its a good reputation move.
2. Whales can buy lots of coins before the burn without having the price go up crazy and keep a good $ per token ratio, this might probably happen just before the burn. And then price reflects it after burn.:)
3. Keeps a good balance for small buyers and big as well.

My 2 cents

Moon

This price (0.00125 ETH) is such a bargain.. if you consider the meeting with omisego, the tweet by monacoin, the team burning a huge amount of tokens, the listing on yobit, and the overall professionalism that transpares from their social.
We are just at 2x ICO price.. this will definitely get higher.

Indeed in some point I agree, I think it still has to spread within Japan better and the rest of the world. I expect the $ 50 million market cap will be reached within a month

IF they are able to get a position within a prominent exchange, Bittrex or Poloniex it can go tenfold from the current value.

But they have to burn the unsold Tokens and we have to see if that happens.  ;)

And if this continues, the 2/3 dollar is way closer than we might think.

Well it lost almost everything it had gained in the last days just for several hours - it was $0,55 two days ago and now it is $0,33. In an hour or two we might be at the starting position around $0,23 - this is a very big drop and we cannot pretend that it is not happening.

Until BTC is done with it's fork's,all ALTs will loose value. Most people don't want to miss out on BTCG, and therefor taking money out of ALTS to put it in to BTC.

This is the typical market reaction for FREE MONEY.

I say wait for it to go down a little bit more and start to accumulate ALIS.

That is what i will be doing to buy ALIS. It has a good roadmap and once the partnerships start to roll out, the price now will be a dream to buy later.

Don't panic (in my case, please do so i can start buying)  ;D

I also think that bitcoin core (btc) is doing well now because of the upcoming event on 25th October and from there coins will soon flow back to altcoins and ico projects.

What do you mean? Alis has not a blockchain, Alis is a token ERC20 compliant.
So, to receive and send Alis token you need an ethereum address.
Myetherwallet is a good choice but you must be very careful because of phishing.

'After buring it, the total supply will be about 80,000,000. We will annouce the date near future'

That means that you will have quite an amount of Tokens in your own pocket.

What is the exact amount?

MAXIMUM ICO DISTRIBUTION - 250,000,000 ALIS

I read on the Alis Twitter:

'After buring it, the total supply will be about 80,000,000. We will annouce the date near future'

That means that you will have quite an amount of Tokens in your own pocket.

What is the exact amount?

MAXIMUM ICO DISTRIBUTION - 250,000,000 ALIS
After the burning process, the total supply will be about 80M.
What is your doubt about?

Well my concern is currently that over 50% of the tokens seems to be owned by the company ALIS.

I would like to know how they are going to spend these Tokens or are they going to sell them for extra funding
later and in which timespan?

This feels like a huge premine. Although it's not a minable coin of course...
But to give it a certain perspective.

First they say (page 1):

"ALL UNSOLD ICO COINS WILL BE BURNED"

I assume the 80 million Tokens haven't been sold all and if so, it would make sense to make a transparant statement.

I would have prefered a more scarce token.

It's not just about the date, it's about the contradiction of telling that 'all coins will be burned' and in the
end they keep approximately half...

If they would just give some support here, they could explain it.

I definitely like the concept of ALIS, but some more transparency would be appreciated.  :)

I partecipated in the ICO. To be honest I didn't read so much but I liked that there was no bounty campaign or signature. I think the team is focused on the project.
They have a long term roadmap and I feel good sensations! ;D

Do you know how much coins are bought on the ICO mate? Maybe because of that, thats why its 80M, because it is very clear on the Ann that they will burn all the unsold coins in the ICO.

According to Coinmarketcap they sold nearly 39.000.000 coin on a total of 287.000.000. If they will burn only 80mil they will have 167.000.000 to sell. In conclusion forget the moon !

Indeed oversupply, but if they give some information about how they are going to use it and if it will be also invested in the ALIS platform it would make a huge difference. And if the oversupply will be sold and spread over a long period as well.

Japan has over 127 million people and they are really loyal to Japanese projects, a guarenteed success.

There's a difference between circulating supply and total supply. Their circulating supply is 37M and Total supply after burn will be 80M.

Where's the Oversupply here?

The remaining 43M from the total supply, will not be unlocked now .. it would be over a period of time ..

If you think 37M circulating supply is oversupply, then sell your coins. Ill will buy them cheap.

I understand the difference. But in this case the 41.5 Million ALIS Tokens will be owned by ALIS and that was not the deal.

Currently (before burn) 92.3% is within the biggest wallet 0xed93fb4b30b31dd614d13e92b89aba1c6d12c9d4
461.5MILLION Alis Tokens of 500,000,000

38.5 MILLION within other addresses ICO + Probably giveaway

After BURN ALIS stilll owns 51.86% 41493022 and that will become within an address (wallet) and is sellable.

So that that means it is part of the total supply. So it will be 80 million circulating.

But the things is, if you promise to burn all Tokens and in the end you keep 51.86%...  ???

Without explaining, not really a fair solution. I prefer more transparency.

The amount of total coins created (500 million) is not even relevant in the point I am making.  ::)

It's about first telling ' ALL UNSOLD ICO COINS WILL BE BURNED'  (see page 1) of this tread.

Nevertheless, that's quite a difference and would make sense to explain why suddenly they keep 51.5%.

It is a replica of Steem but for Japan. So as long as Steem has no plans to enter Japanese market, ALIS doesn't have a direct competitor. But in future other new projects may come up.

It's not a social media network in the sense of facebook. It's a social network where information will be fact-checked and verified. So information you will read through Alis is not a hidden advertisement, stealth marketing campaings or clickbait. Alis targets Japan. Apparently in Japan news and informational articles are usually collored and biased.
Checking info through blockchain is also done by Lunir and Steem. Steem is already up and running. Pos. 31 in coinmarketcap so actually doing pretty good. Scince Japan has a different language, it's an open market, Alis jumps in here.

Apparently lots of people thought burning a shitload of coins would make the price skyrocket. Lot of that was floating around on twitter.
That's why it was goin up fast before the burn. Now people sell again because they figured out it didn't influence the price. Don't worry, price will go up again. End of December they already have a first sneak-peak of the actual product.

Why is everybody dumping their coins???....I thought I bought at a lower price and now it has gone even lower....This does not make sense...Why are people so stupid to sell so low?

I think because of this

https://etherscan.io/token/0xEA610B1153477720748DC13ED378003941d84fAB#balances

1   0xed93fb4b30b31dd614d13e92b89aba1c6d12c9d4   36670551.9135547   48.7581%

ALIS ownes this amount, people don't know if they will sell it and when...

You are able to see this with a lot of Token Sales (ICO's), even after the TokenSales they try to enrich themselves even more...

That should have burned all the remaining tokens instead of keeping 48.75%

You are wrong. That should NOT have been burned. It's as agreed on in advance: it was clearly stated in the whitepaper they would own 50% of the circulating supply of the tokens. (They and their stakeholders. see page 12 of their whitepaper.) There is a  contractual limit for them to sell.
They also made clear here what the situation would be after the burn:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1nJUUe-BZjDfQ1pX9xk-P0xGnXShqT25ilaQxhAnbUNg/edit#gid=0

Offcourse they own a tokens, all projects have a share and own tokens. Just like any regular company has a majority in shares. Which is a good thing, because that is the biggest incentive to make the project successful and make the value of the token rise.

To my opinion it should be max. 10%/15%, that seems way more credible.

Tokens are not a share of the company ALIS so it's not comparable with the shareholder principle of participation.

If a cryptocurrency (minable coin) would have a premine of close to 50% people would say it's worhtless.

And with tokens distribution it's the same, I disagree that some people pretend it's normal.

I'm experiencing this with a shitload of tokens. The creatorsshare is way too big after ICO with a majority of the tokens.

And that is not a good prospect.

I do believe in the company ALIS, let's be straight about that.

They seem reliable and I get the idea that they are putting the funding in the company.

With a stunning end product as result.

But apart from that I would have liked to see a different token distribution.

I compare tokens with shares in the sense that it's an incentive for the team to make the value rise. That's a relevant comparison.

Wheter you agree with the % they hold or not, they have been open and clear about it from the start. So it's not really fair to complain about this afterwards. You knew what you bought in to.
And I wouldn't worry to much. I just saw their share is not part of the circulating supply. So they can't sell anytime soon, it's contractual limmited. It happens a lot. Check NEO, EOS, Qtum, OMG, everywhere you see total supply instead of max supply next to circulating supply at coinmarketcap.com. All successfull coins.

And I agree with you, I believe in Alis too. They will do great.

What if the idea of using blockchain for social network? The point of social network is to tell everyone who you are, and the point of blockchain is decentralizing- I just don't see how they correspond!

decentralization doesnt mean anonymous.

This is correct. The dev actually very active in twitter.

They also seems very active in Japan on January. There are 3 planned event for january. On 6th, 7th and 20th.

Japan is top 10 country with biggest investment in the world regarding cryptocurrency. And this coin is built for japanese people (correct me if I'm wrong please), with total supply of just 75 millions! This coin won't stay in $1 for long trust me.

This coin has pumped up almost 10 times since October. And they have 3 events to attend this month which for sure will affect the price without a doubt.

I think this is a very interesting project. I saw the beta and it looks really good. I was trying to find the link again but cant. You should link this better.

Interestingly, Mark Zuckerberg just spoke of digital currencies and that he is going to research them bigly. So maybe he wants to add them to facebook....  Maybe he is aware of Alis even who knows... Will be interesting to watch...

Does Alis hold any patents? Can other companies just steal the technology/concept? Or could the technology even be licenced to e.g. facebook?

They are doing their best for exchange listing but won't disclose news before confirmation. Obviously they don't want their coin to become a pump&dump. (they have no product yet).

We need to be patient. I read that some exchange (binance...) ask big amount (like 10BTC) to be listed. That a bit pumpish to pay for listing when you have no product.

According to roadmap, current (company) website renewall for mid feb. And alis website launch not before April 2018.
If this coin would be listed on Binance then it rate will be going to the moon =))

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since the team has updated the first post. We are working on
reassembling the main page with new information.

There is a lot of stuff going to happen in March and April.

Mulitiple meetups will be held around the globe all places and dates will be announced soon, but for now, here is already the Amsterdam meetup event page:
https://www.eventbrite.nl/e/tickets-alis-media-amsterdam-meetup-42989705366

In addition, we ambassadors are working hard together to provide more information about ALIS in English.

Article that goes in deeper as to why ALIS is much needed in Japan and which established services it can potentially replace:
https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/why-i-think-you-should-invest-alis-jimmy-van-duuren/

The FAQ ,together with a lot of other information, an explanation about the difference between Steemit and ALIS:
https://medium.com/@alismedia/alis-faq-february-2018-4e3e43657ab9

An infographic that explains ALIS' popularity in Japan:
https://imgur.com/a/8AXpv

Because of a lot of Spam and difficulty managing two communities at once (Japanese and non-Japanese), the team has decided to move to Discord:
https://discord.gg/b6T44q3

Cheers!

Hey Livermore,

The closed beta release is in April. Open beta in October.

I do like to point out that ALIS is different from steem in many ways. There is the obvious difference: only 1
Coin, instead of 3. Not only the producers, but also curators of content get rewarder. However, both ALIS and Steem have a different objective. ALIS is focused on providing a platform where trustworthy people and articles are filtered from the junk, which yields a completely different platform with completely different content.

Edit: i just read this on steem. https://steemit.com/steemit/@yallapapi/why-steemit-is-a-giant-circle-jerk-and-how-to-make-it-work-in-your-favor

I can write a whole lot more about why ALIS is different from steem and why it has way more potential to be mass adopted in Japan than Steem by the English speaking internet. I don’t think this is the place to write a about this, bht if you want to know more, talk to me in the ALIS discord.  ;)

I was a very early investor in Alis. Been holding my coins forever - logged into MEW today and noticed my coins are gone! Anybody else have this happen to them?  There is no transaction record of them being withdrawn so I don't think anyone stole them.

Any thoughts what might have happened?

I do not see any progress in the price of the coin. A lot of good news, but at a price it's not shown. What are the dev doing to increase the price? When to wait for new exchanges?

Our aim is to add value to the whole crypto community by giving the best user experience to analyse cryptocurrencies.

It would be really great help from your side if you can spend 60 seconds of your time and give us your valuable feedback for our two recent updates 1) Snapshot and 2) Colourful interface of ALIS at: https://cointopper.com/coin/alis

Constructive criticisms are always welcome at CoinTopper (https://cointopper.com/).  Thank you!!

The situation of ALIS is due to some factors, such as the fact that it is destined for the Japanese, this is not a problem, but it usually takes some time for adoption to be the key factor for a good valuation! The current market is also not helping any project or coin, in fact, I'll not be surprised with lower prices, but the secret is to be patient.

Thats nice to see daily reports, but to get more exposure, project needs more liquidity. Is there any work done towards getting listed on bigger exchanges?

They are not very keen to listed in big exchange right now. Guess they are trying to list on regulated Japanese exchange first, but the team keeps working on the platform and they are kind of active in their Discord and twitter regarding development.

I am very confident that ALIS will become a successful ICO by the end of 2018. ALIS collaborating with Microsoft is a big thing in my opinion, I'm sure Binnace, bittrex or bithumb will be the home of ALIS later

I don't want to jump into the speculation game, and with due respect we shouldn't be much excited about collaborating things either yet, every other project coming out on a daily basis with these kinds of collaboration. its long journey for Alis.

Binanace, bitterx is a long shot. and i guess Masahiro Yasu(CEO) clearly understand that. That's why they are focusing on Japanese exchange/market and if we get lucky then during the bull market, chances are its price can skyrocket for a limited period just like Monacoin.

The article might take a little longer to write since I have some other stuff I have to do, but I'll be sure to spend some time on this matter as well. However, since, even though I am an 'official ambassador', the team does not share specific information about their plans regarding sensitive stuff like this, I won't be able to answer this question with the assurance it is actually correct. However, I can provide educated guesses, which is what I'll do in the article.

Social Media Platform Alis.to Open Beta
https://coindar.org/en/event/alis-alis-social-media-platform-alisto-open-beta-16822

Thanks for posting this! To elaborate a bit more on this, the team has indeed announced the platform is now officially in Open Beta.
There is no full length official article in English about what this entails, so here is a brief explanation from me:
In the open beta period, a total of 12 new features will be added to the platform in order to expand the test scope. The underlying motive for these functions
are to make the platform more open to everyone, instead of catering to the community that has been around since the ICO and consists of crypto/blockchain enthusiasts (this last part is an assumption made by me personally).

Quote
1. Design overhaul (Done)
2. No more category restrictions (Done)
3. A token bonus system based on amount of tokens held in the platform's wallet
4. Alis platform wallet (ability to send and receive from and to the platform)
5. Text editor update
6. Account statistics (how many tokens you earned and by what means and which article, etc.)
7. Tutorial for new users (upon first login a tour of the platform)
8. Article ranking based on amount of tips received (as an addition to the other filters already existing)
9. OAuth for developers
10. Update of the Login/Register process
11. Ability to create articles that need to be payed for in order to read
12. Intricate referral program

...
Thanks Jimmy, appreciate that. I found that article via Discord channel. maybe you posted in Discord channel. are you the same guy who go by the name of Jimmy in discord group?

That's me!

I bought this little-known token on etherdelta year ago, I'm just glad that it's still alive

There is a high chance that a significant amount of investor lost their token including me. was in accumulating mode  :'(

About the Cryptopia hack, what I have been told is that the team has received a general notice from Cryptopia about a security breach, but have not heard anything specific about the ALIS that were stored on the platform by traders. I also read somewhere that the Cryptopia office was put on lockdown by the police and that staff was not allowed to enter. Whatever the case, I think this issue will take quite some time to be resolved.

of course ALIS will die, but seeing prices rise 30% and volume going up, this gives hope

I heard that you recently joined Alis's team, happy for you bro and I think it's a very good move from Alis and good for the project as well. You can fill the language Gap between Japanese (Alis's team) and the English community.

Which was somehow lacking in terms of Project's update in all social media and community discussions. I wish you luck on your new journey. Cheers Brother!

Thanks man! I’m really happy to hear me getting hired sits well with the community. ;D

Today we opened a new Reddit page - the other one was setup and managed by a volunteer in the ICO period. All English content will be shared there. I eventually hope to, together with the rest of the community, use mostly Reddit  to come up with ideas regarding what kind of info/content we should produce to raise awareness for the project.

Of course and rightly so, you are one of the dedicated members as far as I remember, although I didn't participate in ICO, I came to know about this project later.

Will join you there as well and Speaking of awareness, did you guys thought about running a bounty? could be a good move, it's just a suggestion.
