Title: Idea: mutual video identification/verification system
Post by: bdimych on August 22, 2017, 09:27:53 AM
Hello All,

the idea is about of how people could verify each other via internet,
and especially how to check and confirm honesty of information - who said what, when, and why,

there are BitVote and EtherRe.al but they look abandoned,
the main problem is how to make sure that one person has one ID,

my idea is not the same but close:
to schedule group videochats in the blockchain and assign chat members by some predefined algorithms,
blockchain is unpredictable forward but verifiable backward,
so it will be impossible to cheat because no one can predict chat members, but everyone will be able to check the results later,

people in the chat can watch, speak, ask each other, take screenshots, record videos,
but after the chat they all should write comments-conclusions and save them signed in the blockchain too,
so that anyone will be able to compare results and decide who and what was true or false,

of course photos and videos can't be saved in the blockchain, only hashes,
the whole files can be saved in clouds, image/video hostings, social networks, IPFS, MaidSafe will probably be released soon,

and of course all checks and analysis can be automated e.g. search in blockchain in previous comments, and may be face and voice recognition,
and some rules and protocols should be defined - what to do in chats, and how to write comments,
(btw standing order of the chat can also be selected by algorithms)

---

very short in two words:
there are random chat roulettes without rules,
I'd like to have "blockchain-organized" chat roulettes with searchable results,

I can't right now realize all details, but I think in general the idea looks correct,
I'm looking for people who could try to research and develop this idea and I'm ready to fund it

or if you know such projects already exist, then please give a link
