Title: Double Trouble with a Shuffle: Round 2
Post by: lemonginger on June 22, 2011, 06:08:18 PM
Links to the first thread with spreadsheet is here:

Summary:

This is double trouble with a twist.

http://turboninjas.com/gallery/d/19351-1/TRUFFLE+SHUFFLE.gif

At the end of the closing bell, bet order is randomized, and then payouts proceed as normal. This allows everyone to have a chance to end up with their bet "at the beginning".

Random.Org is used for the shuffle at the end.

We will do a "live" spreadsheet updating at the end again since that seemed to be fun for all.

--

The twist this game: At the end of the game, 50% of the orphaned pot will go to the largest bettor that did not have their bet doubled. (50% goes to the house). Hopefully this will encourage people to take some risks.

--

Minimum bet this game: 0.25 BTC
Maximum bet: 5.0 BTC

Bets under .25 will be considered donations. Bets over 5 BTC will be returned.

It was fun the last time, so I'll get in on this again.  The more bets the more fun the game will be for everyone ~ remember, bets are randomized so having the last bet is just as likely to win as being the first to bet!

This game doesn't have a ton of interest so far. If there aren't at least 5 bets by close, all bets will be returned to players. That being said, it's the only double trouble game out there where it doesn't matter what order you bet in, so get in!

Sad that it seems no one is interested.  Have you gotten any additional bids, lemonginger?

only two entries, so will refund both of them. Oh well, must have got lost in the "shuffle" ;) Will try again this weekend when more people have their bitcoins back from Mt Gox I hope.

Aww, I don't come into the marketplace often enough I guess.

Someone should make a page that lets people host these games with all the info in one place and clean instead of in a bunch of threads.
