i want to ask will it be better to invest in an ICO that already has a product or an ICO without product not yet finished ?

It is better to invest in the ICO at which the price of selling the token on the exchange will be higher than during the ICO itself

I believe that the best thing to do is to invest into ICO's that have a viable perspective for growth: an ICO that is a super ambitious pitch, but 0 product existing at the moment, may end up being a scam or a fantasy, and that wouldn't bode well for the token you bought. At the same time, I feel like ICO's with a completely finished product are a) more rare and b) might have less growth perspective. So it really depends... In any case, as someone who has been intensely looking into ICO's in the past few months - be vary cautious before following the promises of the people promoting the ICO!

but if you looking about the price, many of the ICO if it already listed the price will be going down for a week and up again

Its always better to invest in an ICO which has practical use to it. There are some like Social, which is based on social media. KickICO, based on crowd funding of other ventures, Snapup, for buying. Most of them in the top selling ICO's right now.

Now very much they enter the market of not so clear ico projects.
They do not understand what they want, or rather, they all want money.  8) ;D

I believe there are more important aspects when it comes to investing in ICO's

Most ICO's are startups who are looking for funding to make the idea come to life.

I believe a critical study of the whitepaper, the team, the ideology, realistic target / roadmap and the token / coin is needed and not simply been added to have a ICO. I think these all need to be in place rather than having a product beforehand. Although saying that, if they have all of the above and a working beta / product then it is probably a great project.

I advice you invest in project that is is just coming alive after studying there whithepaper in details.
Investing in an  ICO project,basically you consider  the project whitepaper and  the team of professionals coming together to implement the  project,this will greatly determine the  outcome of  the project. It will be to your advantage to  grow along with the project,you tends to  have a higher returns.

For now I am not investing the ICO but I am part of the campaign which I am having right now and maybe in the future I will be trading the coins promoted by the bounty campaign. Maybe I will be buying altcoins soon and no specific name, still I am on the research of the better type of token to hold in the future and what ICO is the best.

Investing in ICO is do some research first of their project and read the whitepaper and see their roadmap. For it is best to invest on the ICO that has a project than without because this has a big chance to become successful at the end and you will know in their pre sale if successful.

It really comes down to whether or not the project is worth investing in the ICO or not. Some coins that been released are still trading below their ICO price and they’ve had millions of dollars placed in their ICO yet it doesn’t seem like anyone is interested in investing in the coin once it was released for trading. People that trade coins usually are the ones that want to make money on the coin and it wouldn’t make any sense for them to purchase the coins with the goal of losing money in the end, that is something to think about the next time you make an investment.

Probably not so much my knowledge of investing in ICO, but now i would consider studying ICO project before investing, few month yesterday i made little investment in ICO but once coins are in the crypto market the price of coins decreased, so i suffered a loss Although not great ,

Projects with products already simply means they are already functioning even without the ICO, perhaps the ICO is needed for the improvement or advancement or extension of the project. Those that have no products might be relying too much on the ICO and when the ICO gathers too small or fails, there is probability that the project will fail as well because they did gather the necessary resources.

Warren Buffet always said IPOs are very risky and I feel the same way about ICOs. They're mostly hype driven and few have substance right now, nor are they really accountable. Look for more established coins.

A product should not be the all and be-all of the ICO. If they have the product but they do not have the market, it is still useless. So the product should be a working product. The competition should also be considered since the product they are promoting might be one in so many so there is still a very hard way for their product to go on top. Their's should be the cream of the crop.

But it will be difficult to find that will working product at least alpha. Because the raised money will be used to develop the product and the developers will be releasing the product in the future. Can you take the tenx project as an example? But not all of the alpha already running for well.

If the venture already has a finish product usually the prize will crash to zero hype level. However, ICO with no product has the greatest risk because it could be potentially be a scam or a team or the developers are a bunch of amateurs that they never finish the product on time.

When investing before the ICO ends or has not started we just spend the funds that sparingly but we do not know the project was successful or not.
Then we invest after ICO selesei usually the funds in the output will be many but we can know if the project is successful or not.

In my opinion the best is for any option - a strong team. A weak team will even spoil the best idea.

I noticed that coin and the signature for that coin floating around in this forum though there doesn’t seem to have any attachment to me personally that would make me want to make a purchase. That coin is based on ticketing right? Since we have Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies that can make the transaction fees much smaller than they already are then why would we need a new coin for that?

It just seems like a lot of trouble just so they can get the event hosters to accept the coin when they can just look up Bitcoin and accept that instead.

I agree mate, in order to make the team stronger is to help each other and do organize brain storming with more ideas in order to populate better solutions to the problem or whatsoever. It totally depends on the team and the potential of the product. I think some ICO have true bision and some don't sometimes it seems that existing product is less important than the vision of the ICO which might not have a product yet.

Polybius is my first ico and maybe last one. Bounty sales are decrease the prices to half of ICO and the dev team didn't make any announcement much to increase the price o more than ICO. In my opinion bounty sales can be much profitable for some ICO's.

ICO's will get more and more difficult to make money with and returns will take longer and longer to mature. As a result more and more people will make losses.

You need to ensure you look at the road map, white paper, team. Look how similar projects have done. Hype doesn't mean much. Look at some of the most hyped tokens of the last 3 months, the majority are trading well below ICO price. On the other hand there are some coins like NEBL that had no hype, only raised 2.5m USD and are now rising and will likely continue to rise.

Normally the projects have not completed their products so they have raised funds to develop the project but there are some projects they already have products and they want to develop the project more widely. To assess a project this is not enough, need to evaluate the team, the roadmap, the community, and the area of the project wants to develop.

ICO with already a product consider to have comparatively less risk than without product ICO. ICO Company owning a product already completed half the way to success. Moreover it will give quick return as most of the work on the product is done. On the other hand, New ICO which came into the market without any product will take ateast 1 year to develop the product and to earn revenue from it.

Man... You cannot invest in an ICO without a product... No way- without a product ICO just has an idea... Everyone has ideas, but you are absolutely unable to make money with a project that fails to introduce AT LEAST the basic alpha version of it's product. So stay well aware of those projects which have nothing. Of course you have to think about absolutely everything concerning the team, advisors, tweeter, pr and marketing campaign, but is still the most important thing on top of the whole ICO project. That's my opinion at the very least.

I totally agree with you on what you wrote. But on the other side, you advertise an ICO in your signature, which still just an idea. Although I suppose you joined to a bounty campaign, but still it contradicts with your opinion.

What I still would like to add, that beside looking for a market fit investment target, people should also consider what help the project provides for the people. I don't say that's an exclusive requirement, but can be a legit plus.
