You can get trading cards as random drops by playing games such as Team Fortress 2, Dota 2, CS:GO, HL2 and Don't Starve. To check if you have any, go to your Steam profile, and click Inventory > Steam inventory. You need to be in the Beta of the Trading Cards to be eligible of droping the cards while playing.
