Title: BTCTalk Free Expression - But Highlighted Stupidity
Post by: meowmeowbrowncow on May 21, 2013, 08:20:57 PM

I would like to see a feature where forum users of a certain designation, such as the recently designation of "expert", be allowed to mark a topic post that:

1.  Is in the experts direct realm of expertise.
2.  The post is full of FUD, or low information, which ultimately misleads any other low information forum users.

Finally

3.  This expert have a specific mod power to mark the topic post (not the entire thread) as WTFRUTA or some other appropriate designation.

The results would have the topic post in question have a bold red border, and a red "X" with dimensions of 100% of the post width and a height of about 20px.

Far, far too many low information opinion formulated posts here.

Define 'stupid' are we going to be labelling people who blatantly make stuff up, re-write history or use poorly done statistics that only have about 1,000 people taking part? Personally I'd like certain people on this forum to be given the tag 'overeducated moron' with some of the stuff I've seen them say.
