Title: Ledger Wallet and Segregated Witness Activation Post by: New2coin on August 27, 2017, 03:29:20 PM A week ago I set up my Ledger S Nano. When I accessed it today to add to it I got a message "Choose your address Type". It gives me 3 options "I don't know", "Legacy" and "Segwit". Is there any reason I shouldn't pick "Segwit"? What would the benefits be and are there any risks doing this?

It will be very useful in near future and even now you will be able to send cheaper transactions. Worth it in every way, it's new step forward |
