I have the same thinking with you, because i believe in the next year the ethereum already changed to the POS. And that makes the price will be so easily to the moon, the supply will become rarely and eveyone will buy the more ethereum platform. That can be a good sign in september 2017 for a year later.

I am agree with you.ETH increase day by day.I think ETH hit 500$+ in October it's my personal prediction.But I hold some ETH for waiting pumping.I hope something good news nearly.

We haven't seen any artificial demand like we see with Bitcoin. The general public still are completely unaware of cryptocurrency. If they even slightly aware, they will have heard the name "Bitcoin" with no clear understanding of what that is. Ethereum is first and foremost a technology and a currency second. Only the future will tell, so lets see

The pos will make the ethereum gets limited on its supply and i think that will be supporting the price of ethereum after 2017, many people say that the ethereum should be $1000 each in the future. I think that will become true, caused by the zksnark, metropolis, and plasma.

eth is the next bitcoin and i think the time has come when it  have started to go to moon. eth is such a nice currency to watch in 2018. i believe in it and it has proved. eth has given me more profit than bitcoin from the day i have invested in it. eth has the very good developer team and i think it is the best to inveest in it now.

That is more than optimistic. 3x isn't easy for obviously popular coin like ethereum. I expect strong rise in a year like %20-25. But no, nothing like 3x unless there are very good news.

Eth will be the next bitcoin if there is something bad would be happen for bitcoins but seems the price of the current bitcoins is pump harder more and that could even bring some extraordinary strength for bitcoins. And eth has been dump harder and it is so alerting to see and many eth holder are been so worried on what would be the end zone of the dump since they are losing to much money for this event.

With some good momentum I think 600 usd is possible per coin by the end of the year. Have to wait and see.

THis time ethereum already started to grow a lot in the future, just like the latest chart of ethereum in coinmarketcap and that makes me surprised caused by the ethereum gets a lot of the increase just in some minutes.

When is the date of the fork to pos? And after the day of the fork eth will not run on a system of pos, but the new coin that is forked?

So there is no real reason for eth to go up because of the fork. Unless people buy eth in advance to the fork in believe they get the new coin after the fork.

An new eth that runs on pos

If transfer fees go down and transfers become faster thanks to the update, then its guaranteed that Ethereum price will go up.

I think it is hard for eth to reach such a value. After 4 times of hard fork, its value has not reached 500 $, then 1k $ will be difficult to overcome by 2018. Coming in October This is a hard fork to see if its growth rate if it hits the 400 mark maybe next year it will reach $ 800 is the highest.  >:(

I see ETH reaching $500 sometime in the next 2-3 months and then it has all of 2018 to consolidate and push on towards $1k, by the end of 2018 I would be surprised if ETH is under $1k.

i am expecting a pump from ETH but there will be a big dump first.
probably price will go down drastically to a much lower level because of the bitcoin price rise and also the fact that ETH has another high risk hard forks on the way. and when people dump, they cause a ripple effect leading to bigger drop.
there is also the ICO issues and all the bans. it is even possible China and Russia and Japan ban ETH itself if they can't control the ICO scams and that will be a big dump.

I am very sure that it will be more worth than 1000$ in the future. But I dont know if it will be in 2018. Maybe it could take some more time to grow that fast. But maybe I am wrong, we see many people rushing into the market. Maybe we take off again in the next couple of weeks :)

Just wait there is fork announced next week as Byzantium update, eth will rise I think at 550$, and you will get same amount of  Byzantium. For investment patience is crucial.

Where did you get the information from anyways? But hopefully though it will reach $1000 by 2018. Ethereum has been widely used especially in ICO's so I do hope by next year it will really increase its price too.

Eth is a good coin, i dont understand why this guy is talking shit about it, it is one of the most biggest projects and coins that the cryptocurrencie world ever had, eth is the purpose of why there are a lot of ico's in the market, you should know that ethereum is not a shit because it is one of the most biggest altcoins that are on the market at the moment.
I am holding some, and i will probably buy more in a few months, i am so happy with the profit that i am making with ethereum and for sure that i will keep investing on it for some time from now.

 If that will happen, I think its about time to hold an ethereum. Since we can't deny that ETH really had its potential to follow bitcoin in the near future. And I dont see any problem if we both put an investment in this two coin since they are both promising and very profitable. But hopefully it happen to the ethereum by next year.

If it is happen I think it was a good news because I was expect more from ethereum, Moreover seems that this month fluctuation of ethereum to the market was totally great, because when the times that bitcoin price is running up also this altcoins are raising up. Definitely I was not worry regarding ethereum price due to I want only to hold it for long term. Investing in this altcoins are not doing for short period of time because it was doing for long long run of time to assure that your investment were earn double.

Due to faster pacing of crypto currency in the market, it's hard for us to predict what will happen after 2017 especially in ethereum. Even this altcoins had high chance to raised up immediately, we can't sure and we have no clearly basis of that. Because anytime there's a possibility of falling down of price in the market. But I still looking forward regarding increasing of bitcoin value in the market.

There are large number of coins are present in the crypto market in which some are going do die and some are already died but there are some coins which are going famous very quickly and looking a good future in which one of them is etherum. Etherum is the  second faviourte  coin in the market  according to their familiarity and rate and we can expect that it will become more famous and have a bright future till 2018.

Ethereum has been the best altcoin since ever and as compare to all other altcoins, it has the largest support. Though it is a little slow in gaining value but the important thing is we can trust it with our futures. After BTC, I consider ETH as a good investment. Unlike BCH, it is not a bubble. ETH will cross 1k dollars within next few months as BTC is skyrocketing nowadays.

I think ETH will touch $ 1K next year. The end of 2017 may be in the range of 400 $ -500 $. Although many are pessimistic about ETH but everything is possible.

Somehow I agree with you. IMO it will be a little miracle if ETH passes $500 before NY but then in 2018 if they finally migrate to POS, I', expecting doubling or tippling the price.

Ethereum is the main currency of making transactions today because they use it in every ICO and crowdsale.
People are buying ETH and they spend it quickly to buy tokens for holding them for some time, the ICO "owners" are also spending their crowdsale funds, which are in ETH, for starting their business

Bitcoin just eating all of the demand right now but that will be different after the hardfork will have passed and the demand will be back again to the altcoin market. People are interested to gain the bitcoin gold will dump it.
