Title: WDC - where from here
Post by: cryptohunter on May 23, 2013, 09:21:00 AM
So what is the general opinion here

Network hash looks stable at 1.8G

price looks to have bottomed out at 0006

Why is this coin worth less than cnc? and where now for wdc, seems most of the discussion died down now on it?

It seems quite a useful coin with fast transaction speed and the diff readjust seems to work okay.

Will it stick around?

I wonder why cnc is still at 0074 when you can't even transfer that stuff without waiting days?

I think it's need to be on a major exchange to really grow. (Eg. BTC-E)

I like MCXNOW but at the end of the day, it's a small growing exchange. Bter is also growing but seems to be catering to the chinese market? And Cryptsy is too new and has a few bugs to iron out before getting more support.

Because the Dump has finished.

WorldCoin has been the most valuable to mine (the top of coinchoose.com) ever since launch.
Many miners use it as a vehicle to mine anything more profitable that BTC.
Most don't care to speculate price fluxuation and just dump it as fast as they mine it.

Early on, the price at small exchanges won't really matter; it's just noise.
Hold my friends and let the coins transfer out of the weak hands.

wait until larger exchange adopt it...
in case you haven't notice, rice of new coin always has tendency to sky rocket every time a new exchange adopt it...

While we would all love that to happen, who's to say it will? Maybe vircurex has to adopt it first to get some real price increase, and then maybe it will attract BTC-e's attention.

I think the coin still has great potential big fan of WDC and DGC at the moment.

Less than intelligent miners, pannicked and started dumping their stock. Right now, pricing has been removed from the miners, and placed in the hands of the traders, who will now control the prices for awhile. You'll notice it drop to around .004-.005, then be pumped back up to around .006-.007. Rinse, repeat. Eventually, the tables will turn, but it will take time to recover. Hold your WDC for now ;)

You'll also notice that, thanks to a quickly responding diff lvl, WDC still remains profitable, even at those prices. That alone, sets it far apart from FTC and CNC.

Well put I have been trying to get some of the haters to tell me what the first coin was to adjust difficulty by time and so quickly? was it mincoin? Either way its a unique feature which makes the coin both Min, WDC and DGC good for miners.
