1 BTC = 2nd Hand Honda Civic

Tell me your predictions at the middle of September, what will be the market price of 1 BTC?

This should be in the speculation section, if you want to move it there. I am quite optimistic that we might see a Bitcoin price

around $5000 for the rest of September. I am looking forward to the end of November, when the price might be higher and

when Black Friday is running. I will reward myself with some goodies, if we can sustain these kinds of prices.  ;)

Here in my country 1 BTC can buy a land. And if in september the price of bitcoins is higher. Maybe not just land. House and land. So be patient with bitcoin as we get the answer to our poverty. And go ahead and be financially independent

How much does land cost in your country? If you don't mind which country do you live in?

I think a house is still more expensive than 1 Bitcoin surely. But you know better than me. :D

I've been seeing bitcoin raise its price since last year, and no matter what happens it insist to go down even a problem occur no wonder why the price became this high, if bitcoin sustain its balance between the investors and sellers there is a chance that we can buy a company just by earning 1 btc. My prediction is $5300 per bitcoin but still there is a lot more to expect regarding bitcoin, we can simply say that there is no stopping the price now as there is no other problem occurs.

Even in India also you can buy the land but the question is which part of country side you can buy land and what is the size of it. Where i am staying i can buy 30 x 40 SQ.Ft. land by having 1 btc.

All of you make the same mistake. You don't buy a car or land with bitcoin. You have to change bitcoin to Fiat, and only then to carry out the transaction. It will be perfect when you can do it directly with bitcoin.

My predictions: I think Honda Civics will go down in value..  :D

In India, second hand Honda Civics are available from anywhere between $2,000 to $10,000 (depending on the age). And the median range is close to the current exchange rate of Bitcoin. IMO, by the end of this month, the price of 1 BTC will be equal to one new Honda Civic (around $23,500).

when you compare bitcoin price with something, that thing needs to be a common thing that most people know the price of it. i don't even know what a "Honda Civic" is :D
i mean i can guess but it is not common. people usually use Gold or something like that to compare the price, although it is not good to compare bitcoin with anything since it has no counterpart but still!

Literally speaking, 1 BTC in Philippine Peso worth around 240,000 in which we could buy a 2nd hand car and/or use it as Downpayment for a Brand New Car. Though Bitcoin is still growing and we can't say actually what would be the outcome in the succeeding days and/or months. We all know that fluctuation is already part of the industry and a drop might happen anytime.

But, I'd hope that it would continue to grow and I have a lot of expectations towards this industry. Though we also need to be always prepared for what can happen today, tomorrow and in the future.

Who knows? 5000$? Damn, i didn't expect so fast and big rise in price.
But it is nice to know that you can buy a car now with 1 bitcoin :D

The price of Bitcoin is still volatile, we may see a big drop soon and we may not get 1 Honda civic for that price. I am optimistic about the price so I would say it will hit 5000$ soon and then lots of people will dump. I dont think it will go lower than 3800$ mark.

Within September Bitcoin will reach $5000. So it's not impossible to buy 2nd Honda Civic with 1 BTC. I think one day Bitcoin will reach the top of the all other currencies. Its value will be sky level. Then you will buy 1st Hand car with 1 BTC. I hope that day will come very soon.  8)

Today's current pricing of bitcoin in our country actually surpassed that of a Honda Civic's price, and you can buy a fresh 2010 or 2012 model of any sedan that you like. The rest of September would bring a fruitful profit for everyone and I don't really see any real reason for the price to flop.

$7000 would be more than possible by the end of this year at this rate.

Since we're on the subject of cars, I wouldn't mind two things.   One, owning one whole bitcoin.  Two, 1BTC= a Volkswagen Scirocco, the new edition,  used is fine.  That is a smoking sexy automobile and probably the only one I'd actually spend a whole bitcoin on.  And slowly we're getting there.  Honda civics aren't bad, just small and underpowered.

So the "1 BTC = Lamborghini" thread is not efficient anymore? :D

At the middle of september the price of bitcoin will be between 5300 USD and 5700 USD. In my opinion this is a new Honda Civic not a 2nd hand Honda civic. Wait another 4-10 years and the price of one bitcoin will be that of a new house. Some say that this will happen faster than 4 years. I am on the opinion that the bitcoin price will be around 8000 USD at the end of this year.

Hardly the bitcoin level will reach the level of the new Honda. They are hoping for a lifan or Machindra, but if they are needed, then we must think about it. So it will not work for you this year to buy Honda.

That's the power of bitcoins. I think one bitcoin will be priced around 5200 - 5300 by the middle of September month, if the current trend continues.

Do you have any logic behind this prediction, or you just made the reply to improve your post-count? IMO, the next big movement in the prices can occur in November, when the 2 MB block size will be implemented. But if there is no consensus (there is a real chance of that happening, as F2Pool has reneged on its promise), then we can expect a major correction.

You can already have 4 Civics for 1 Bitcoin. On the other hand this baby is still out of reach, even if you spend 2 Bitcoins.

I owned a second hand Honda Civic in our country and I must say that indeed 1 BTC is more than to get it and you can get a much latest model with the current price of bitcoin. So I guess its really possible now to get a car with the current price specially in Asia. I'm very optimistic that this month will really bring good profit and do hope that the massive bull run will continue.


Yes, Kabayan. That's why I'm planning already to sell my second hand Honda Civic then add some cash my from bitcoin earning to make a down payment for a brand new car. I already had a buyer and hopeful we can close the deal this month.

Just stay optimistic about it, but if there are bumps along the way, I'm sure bitcoin can recover as proven from the past. It can rebound and the price can go even higher as expected.

Yes I think 1 BTC can already a second hand bought a Honda Civic even in Philippines. More so,hope to reach it before the year ends when it reach even more than $5,000 dollar.

I am not sure which country you are in or what depreciation the Honda Civic has on it. But the way Bitcoin is rising, in a month's time you could get a first hand car (low end). By December, you will be able to get a first hand Honda Civic itself.  ;D

Don't you know that paying with bitcoin is possible? I've seen some website that are selling lands, condominium, cars, etc. The only problem is that what country they were available but lots of them were from Europe and USA. You should research about this if you are interested of buying some lands or cars.  ;)

$5k buys a decent lot all over the US.

Here in my country a second hand corolla is worth over 5 bitcoins (at $4700 each coin) It is true that here there are to much fees around everything that concerns about cars.
But a second hand corolla model 2012 will cost that, that is insane.
The most cheapest car here (a new one) is worth 12 thousand dollars, there are not too many people that can afford buying a new car, that is why everybody buy cars and they pay monthly.

Are you saying that 1 Bitcoin is equal to the price of a 2nd hand Honda Civic or it is your prediction at the middle of September? It's unclear mate.

I think Bitcoin will stabilize between $4500 and $5000. I can see also a possible price drop to 4200 USD or lower. Just a correction, I think.
