I just built a rig tonight with that motherboard and a G4400... it mines with 6 1080ti cards just fine.  I would think the G3900 would be fine too.

Thanks alot i can go with the G4400 to about the same price you have 6 GPU's running on that?

Ive currently got i3-7300T only 35w and mines Monero at 68hs. Going to upgrade to an i5-7500T (35w) and hopefully get a bit kore hashrate for monero. Its complete overkill for a rig but if its going to sit there and do nothing i may aswell get the best i can afford and have it mining something.

Yea monero is looking good latley as well to.  Im just hoping i buy the right CPU 1151 iv had a couple friends not get 6 GPU's working on them, guess ill try to the Intel G4400

Mining hardly uses any CPU power if you aren't CPU mining and the G3900 is even pretty overkill for mining; the G4400 supports 16 lanes just like the G3900 or G3930. It really just depends how cheap you can get the CPU, whatever's cheapest works.

to be honest i can get the 4400 is the cheapest right now, not sure why, just trying to find out if the 4400 would support 6 GPU sorry noob with lanes, but yea if not i guess 3900 is straight just heard of some people not get theres working but think it might of been there motherboards, so yea 16 lanes should support 6 GPU?

Yes, I put six of the nvidia 1080ti GPUs on the mobo.  It's mining very well right now.  I've built two other rigs with different motherboards, and the G4400 works with six cards on them with minimal issue as well.

The G4400 and the G3900 are virtually identical, the only difference being the 4400 has a bit more clock speed, a little bit more cache, and only uses 2-3 more watts than the 3900.  It's not that you'll need the clock speed or cache... my G4400 runs at 8 to 18% load mining with six 1080ti GPUs.

Consider getting the pentium g4560 too.
Its a few dollars more expensive but you get 4 threads instead of 2 with the g4400. Incase you want to use the CPU for other things after the mining craze ends.

I made a following decision: Use Core i7 processors in new rigs. That is why sometimes good CPU-only projects appears that can bring good profit. Thus the payback of these processors is about 8-10 month or even less.
