Hopefully it continues to reach massive returns and doesn't end up being a giant bubble. Just over a short period of time it has grown to be over 20% of my networth. Absolutely incredible.

No one couldn't predict then that the price will go so high and not many people had faith in bitcoin. Today it's different and everyone wants to have bitcoins but there is no use in regret for the past times. There are still chances and opportunities to get profit out of bitcoin you just have to recgonize it and take it.

Your message is so valuable, it makes people regret not to hear your message. Hopefully your next message, they will hear.

Hahaha wish could have come to this forum way earlier and just for fun buy few coins and forget about them, but that never happened, I came when it was 900$ around last year at this month or close to next month and look in the past one year prices have touched 4100$ up (5000$). I told everyone I knew put your money at 1200$ but they did not listen, I told them at 2k they didn't and now they come to me and I also tell them op message I told you! I also add a grin to my face

I learn Bitcoin at the price of 300usd but  bought it at 900usd. For the late comers. Dont worry you can still buy BTC at 4600usd lols buy now before you buy it at 10k.

they are crying because the current price is very expensive. maybe they regret because they did not invest bitcoin. now the bitcoin price is very high and make people who buy bitcoin for $ 100 will smile. and very happy .. but for those who ignore it. they just stared at the price of bitcoin so expensive. but it does not matter .. buy bitcoin today. maybe in the future bitcoin prices will be higher than today. there is still a chance to invest bitcoin

Hehehehe, I guess you proved how wise you are. Will you please share with us what is a good level to offload the BTC for rest of us we bought at level 500$ to 700$. What do you think what is the limit of BTC in next two years, lets say by SEP 2019.

The important part about investing money into something that is known to give people money in some part of its run is to just invest when the right opportunity is set. If the opportunity is taking too long it is better to just analyze the investment and see if it's worth getting into immediately.
For Bitcoin, the investment for it was pretty easy to understand. Investing money into it and not spending any Bitcoin once the money is put into a wallet if the toughest part about Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin goes up almost every other month in Bitcoinland.

Everything is easy and predictable in hindsight, if anyone believed that bitcoin is going to $4,000 from $100 at that time then they have excellent prediction skills, but even those didn't sell everything they owned and buy bitcoin, showing that the weren't certain. Everyone is free to make their own investment decisions on when to buy and when not to.

no need to be sorry ,, because we ourselves don't know the price of bitcoin will soar ,, it's never too late to buy bitcoin .. we still have a chance to. get a profit from bitcoin.

I am guessing that the point that the OP is trying to make is that a $100 is not that much money to spend on an investment. If that person would've spent that money for a single Bitcoin when the price was that low then they would have thousands of dollars.
If that same person did not purchase Bitcoin when the price was that low and they are trying to purchase Bitcoin at $4,600+ then they should've listened to the OP when they had the chance to purchase it when the price was at a $100.

Hindsight or not, it doesn't matter when the price of Bitcoin was really cheap to purchase and if they think Bitcoin was not worth the money then they shouldn't ever purchase Bitcoin.

No doubt that to buy bitcoin at very low price in year of 2008 to 2011 was the perfect timing because demand was going increasing but with big fluctuations was going down , so many people were thinking that to buy bitcoin is big risk to put money in this thing as an asset.
But now the price of the bitcoin directly telling that what we have future with bitcoin and how much we can make earnings .
Here currently in my opinion the price is still not high because the main reason is that the price are increasing constantly and with this a good thing also running that is lack of supply of the bitcoin , so herr we can estimate that how much we can make in future and can enjoy life fully  without any tension of risk of money .
If even in the current time if any people have thinking that buying bitcoin at this price is stupidity then i don't think he can make success in this field , so decide yourself that what is good and what is bad and buy bitcoin for one to two years and see the results of your investment .

I was not the guy with the 100$ but with the five cents. Noone told me to buy Bitcoins for five Cents. But as bitcoin will continue its upfly, I will someday also open such thread. ;D

Well it is sucks to see the price go up until this level, and many people regrets they didn't bought the coin, but not all people speculate that bitcoin going to become this expensive, so let just say they miscalculated the bitcoin potential in the past

Sad we were not here to listen to your ranting  ;D  else I will be persuade to buy at $100.  Anyway I got in when Bitcoin was way above $100 but I did not regret anything because I was unaware of it.  But honestly I believe no matter what is the price when a person get in if he is knowledgeable and smart enough to take advantage of the fluctuation, he can get really a good amount from that trade. Though I admit having it at a lower amount is an advantage.

My message to them will be.... IT IS NEVER TOO LATE. I did not buy at $100.... but I started out at $400. Most of my friends

bought at $2000+ and they already doubled their initial investment. They can withdraw their initial investment now and then

trade with zero risk. They will not lose anything, but their time... if Bitcoin fails now. Get in at ANY price, because this thing

is going to the Moon soon.  ;D

I can't give message to people because I was not knowing about bitcoin till the price was 1300$ even in that time also couldn't able to buy bitcoin. Now also I am seeing 10k $ future but not having enough material net to buy.

I have no regret for not buying bitcoin at $100 because it could also be a risk because the price might have gone the other way, take for instance many coins had sprang up this days how many of coins survived? despite people investing in those coin, definitely those investors are at loss so also bitcoin we can predict or speculates the price positively let us also know that it can go negatively.

Saying that like this is the peak and the price will not rise anymore. Point is buy now, then in a 4-5 years open thread like this and say the same thing.

No one saw it coming; the most "acceptable" predictions that we have back then is around $500 tops. It was just blind faith that made most of us invest in the early days lol, but we got lucky that people also have the same blind faith about bitcoin and invested without even listening to FUDs around.

Can you blame them? having doubt with bitcoin is natural with the newbies and with less knowledge about it, let's be true here the first time you came across bitcoin what is the first thing comes in to your mind? at first all of us would certainly have a doubt about it and we would always want proof if the one saying this to us got his income and how much, would you just put your money in an investing scheme that you don't have knowledge and it is your first time hearing it, I myself have this kind of thinking in the past and just research in the forum about bitcoin that is the first thing I did before giving a thing to bitcoin and investing some money towards it.

well my dream price was 800$ per btc , and I thought it was really hard to get near that
glad the price is going up even I didn't buy when btc was cheap cause here that days I didn't know a single way that I can buy bitcoin with in my country
even now it's still hard to buy/sell bitcoins here , and the fees are really high here to buy or sell

I find it a little bit funny but then we have to understand that people these days are barraged with so many opportunities to make money that is why we have an information overload...if one will go with all the opportunities presented to him he would be bankrupt by the time he can see which is the real one. However, now we see that Bitcoin is the one and is here to stay then the message should be: It is not too late to jump and join the Bitcoin party! We still have a long journey to go and now is the best time to make a stake.

hindsight is always 20/20, but yeah, it doesn't feel good :(  Been kicking myself for a while now.  Of course, the lowest I ever saw it since I got into bitcoin was $180, but I'd take that any day.

Bragging about buying at $100 when many bought below $100 is plain idiotic.

I think that people who bought it when it was practically worthless now have a fortune,and for them even 100$ was a big price.But this train is passed long time ago and there is no sense to think about it too much.

There is always opportunity to invest in BTC and make some profit.Yesterday price was 5000$+,and today is 4500$.One day someone can say that we should buy at 5000$ because in future price may be 50 000$ or more.

So if you belive in BTC it is never too late to buy :)

Did you say the same thing when BTC reached $1000? Because soon $1000 is going to be the new $100. Sadly I didnt knew about BTC when it was $100, rather found it after a while when the price was $250 still I guess that was a good price to buy on.

Man is so constituted that it will always cry. People tend to think in hindsight. Even if they sell bitcoin now at the highest price in ten years they'll be crying that have not saved your coins and do not become millionaires. It was is and will be.

Actually, yes, I did tell people to buy when price reached 1000$ One of them said he would rather wait for a dip to 800, when I said, he might not ever see 800 again. He is still waiting for the dip...

That's the real deal with bitcoin and its the time we should show to those people to whom we referred to bitcoin and then they said oh come on that's most ridiculous thing we have seen. What goes up must come down..Do not get sucked into the "moon" mentality.  There is no way bitcoin can survive at such high rates for prolonged periods.
If the price was to go to 10k tomorow and sit there for months.. Exchanges would run out of money. and the price would tumble..

I can't wait for the price to drop back to the sub $900 range. thought to be honest if it dose crash back to that area its going to be a long time before we see this parabolic move we witnessed recently.

Same here, I've know bitcoin when it was just $100 and just ignored it. I never knew that bitcoin had a bright future ahead. I thought it was a scam and just a waste of time. A friend of mine was even giving me bitcoin when it started and rejected it. Now, I'm having the worst regret of my life. I should've bought and saved bitcoin before.

Seriously you missed right opportunity become rich in short time. If you put little bit hopes on this coin and collect some bitcoins means today you are the Milliner bad luck. And the old days will never come back. I am not aware of this Bitcoin when it was $100. But when i enter this field that time it is still under $500 so even i also missed right opportunity.

I agree with all of you guys, but this is how the market works.. and those who didnt buy bitcoin when it was soo cheap they were just smart.
bitcoin was $100 in 2014, when nobody knew what bitcoin is, why would someone invest in something that he doesnt know? and what would happen if he loses his money?
I think those who didnt buy before were right.
Now that we know how this works, its different, but nobody can tell anyone how to manage his money

I don't know if you buy BTC when 1 btc is worth 100$ or not, but even if you bought some bitcoin, I didn't think that you are still saving this amount until now. I except that you cashout at least 80% of your btc when the price increase and achieve the 1000$ at the beginning of 2017.

Nothing says the growth has to be a straight line graph, so bubbles are sure to happen one time or the other in order for the equation to be balanced, but that is exactly how far it can go as the sentiment towards  Bitcoin have grown so strong, it would take so much doings to be able to hold it down.

As for opportunities to buy cheap again - certainly not $100, life indeed moves in cycles and whatever  goes around, comes around, though opportunities seems to prefer to deal mostly with the bold and prepared.

When I started getting more involved with bitcoin, the price was around $ 250, so I did not hear that warning  ;D... paradoxically, at that time I had the opportunity to acquire a good amount of btc as the business where I am involved invited me to accept the payments via bitcoin, and I rejected it. It was not until about $ 450 that I started to get my first coins...  :'(

That's right, I'm crying for missing the previous low prices. Anyway, we still have too much room for growth and this will be beneficial for all of us, if we keep investing in digital assets.

Sometimes when I saw my transactions history from my exchanger, regret will come to my mind. I could get 10x or more from the total money that I already got. But I have to move on. This is life and not everyone will be so lucky!

Yes those who regret keep regretting all their lives, take an action now because it's still not too late yet. If predictions are to be believed we can still make 10x of our investment in just a few months.

Back in 2015 or so I was looking into Bitcoin. The thing that turned me off was the fact that there wasn't anywhere to sell it. I would Google how to sell Bitcoin and couldn't find anything. I saw the spike a couple years ago and assumed it was a pump and dump. I mean honestly, how is that not sketchy. All these websites telling how to buy, but no where how to sell. I thought meh, better not put my money there. Two years later things have changed. Bought at $2200 and well, results look pretty good. Too bad it wasn't at $100. Oh my gosh, I'd be so wealthy now. Well actually not, because I had less money back then and would have invested less. Well okay, I'd probably have about $80k in Bitcoin so yeah it would be quite a lot lol.

So when do you think Bitcoin is going to surge again? Or do you think it is going to go down?  :o

I belive you didn't know OP how situation would have gone. It wasn't so easy to risk huge amount in bitcon when it's price was 100$, even people thought that wouldn't last long and finish would be soon. That's great when you have hope of so great future (bitcoin's future) and if you bought bitcoin on that time, than be proud because you did a great step. Sometimes something makes dreams and sometimes it sucks, that's all.

I agree, Not a perfect solution by any means but look at it this way. If we see a pop in the price and we do see sub $1000 price range think of the addoption that would be taken up with 1000's of people who missed the first parabolic move buying into the market.  While bitcoin price is in the sky it prices out a large range of users who what to take it up, after the large scale media attention bitcoin gained during this last 3 months if the price were to come down to a re-buy level for "everyone" then think of the take up that could be achived.

While the price is sky high we price out many people from the market I do see this lasting for possibly another 20 / 30 days but we will see a dip possibly back to the $1800 / $2000 mark..  

As you said there is still profits to be had just be ready with some shorts and you should see some good profits on the down-trend, and that should see you some more profits to re-buy.

yup, i know, i regret it too, but now I'm investing on it, i started buying it when it was 1k, i already profit from it, and Im still buying it at 4600, hoping for 5k soon :)

If there was a mass adaptation then everyone back then knew that the price would reach astronomical figures and for me it is really astronomical at this moment as i really cannot imagine how much money i have lost gambling looking at the price now,i used to buy bitcoin when it was really low and started investing in alts at a later time,either way i sold most of my coins before it touching thousand dollars and even if any one purchased when the price was low they would have offloaded by now.

since i was recently knowing this bitcoin, crying out loud. but im so amazed because even its late not "too late" to invest huge amount of money like me as a low profile farmer only, im still getting a piece of it by working on it, getting job in this forum is more useful to me, learning some information all about bitcoin at the same time im getting a little bit profit from it and mostly i enjoy every single moment as a bitcoiner.

Well it is definitely gonna be regrettabke to those who did not believed with bitcoin before and even I myself am wishing that I knew about bitcoin back then. But really who would have thought back then that bitcoin will be reaching the prices it is at now. I think no one had predicted this to happen.

I will tell him that no one is perfect, and that no one has predicted this value of BTC during our days. However i read once a more shocking story for someone who has Bought a pizza with 10 000 BTC when it was equal to 0.5 USD.

No-one could have predicted that the price of bitcoin would have jumped to the all time high it is at today.


Yes, I have also recently read this story.  :D It is unbelievable. I personally know a friend of mine who bought bitcoins when they were 0.12 USD each and invested a total of $1000. He immediately sold after bitcoin hit 0.15 USD. Its sad to see how much money could have been made off that single investment.

No need crying over spilled milk and good news is now you know better and would never pass up future opportunities. Though one source of concern is people's inability to recognize an opportunity even when it is right in front of them - they say opportunities come disguised as hard work! For instance the proposed hard fork for November can be turned into an amazing opportunity by doing a few things right at the appropriate time, while others freak out.

A lot of my friends are now regretting not listening to me when I told them to buy between 200 and 400 usd..

Some bought in a few months ago and now more then doubled there holdings including the BCH bonus.

Exactly once, everyone already knows all the things about bitcoin so for those who did not prepare him to get many of the advantages it is definitely in the future will regret including on time now. One is my own and also you, it all happened because everything is not necessarily true so that makes us quite a bit in doubt. But it would be much better we do everything on the basis of the calculation is done, because if we do something without any calculation it is definitely going to get worse results.

Yes it is true no one can predict anything about the future. I will also tell them that they have their own choice of doing business. When the things go in some different direction than the expectations then people feel upset. May there are many people who have sold their bitcoin when the prices would so miner and now they will feel hurrah, that why we have emptied our wallet of bitcoin, if we hold them now we will be very rich.

just regret why i sell my coins cheap last year, when still less than $1000. and now i only have a little glad already sell it little by little so i not sell all my coins in cheap rate again and do same mistake

unluckily im lining of those people who didnt buy btc when it was worth of $100, crying out loud but it is not too late for us to invest. it is just the beginning journey of bitcoin for it to success, so im grateful that i find bitcoin in this way. and i leave a message for those who didnt bought btc before, its not too late to us to earn profit when we invest in bitcoin believe me, it is just the beginning.
